Canceled orders
I had a few orders with them, and they decided to cancel 50% of them due to a "Rare" system error, it's not that rare because it has happened a few times now.
Not only that they don't email to tell you that the order has been cancelled, they just cancel it, and then they expect you to email them to case the refund up. They don't automatically refund you. So you don't realise that your order has been cancelled they will keep your money and you will never get your money back.
Also customer service department does not read your email. They just reply with a copy and paste answer, and it doesn't even answer the question you asked.
Over all poor service, and I wouldn't recommend music magpie at all.

Avoid!
Purchased a 'Refurbished' S23 Ultra from them that is listed as being fully checked by their specialists to ensure all components work, with 12 Months warranty and should you find a fault, a replacement/repair is offered if not then full refund.
Ordered this phone and guess what, it had a hardware problem! So it wasn't fully checked at all as it was intermittently obvious, and all that was needed was a screen repair so nothing extreme. Contacted them and they were quick enough to say send it back and we'll try to repair or replace it, after that phone was sent they went immediately quiet!
Absolutely nothing from them and then suddenly all I got was we issued a full refund. NO repair as they couldn't even do a simple screen replacement. NO replacement, despite them right now still selling quantities of the exact phone I purchased!
When I tried contacting them to ask why, it was days before I finally got a reply to say they couldn't do the repair and they didn't have my phone in stock to replace which is a lie as my phone is on their platforms for sale right now! On top of that the joke is apparently they don't even sell 'Refurbished' phones going by their representative.. So what phones are they selling? When I asked that .. quiet. Haven't heard from them since.
Definitely wouldn't recommend and I shall be making sure my circle knows this too. Terrible experience, and terrible communication.

Waste of time.
So after writing a bad review for a dvd that l purchased from music magpie, they replied to me and apologised for sending a dvd that wouldn't work on my dvd player, and they sent me a replacement. Well guess what! It also doesn't play, they sent me another one that is only suitable for the U S A, wrong region. What a waste of time and money.

Really disappointed
Really disappointed - would avoid at all costs.
Went into Timpson's to sell my phone. The shopkeeper seemed to find faults that weren't there to offer the lowest price possible.
We went through the Excellent / Good / Poor grading together, and he still wasn't happy. He told me to take it to another Timpson's because he didn't want to get in trouble for putting it through as 'Good', even though he said was in excellent condition 🤷♀️
There was only one tiny hairline scratch on it that you couldn't even feel, yet he claimed it was a dent. How can it be a dent if you can't feel it?
I will never go back again and I will be telling others to avoid it too.
Did what he told me, went to a further shop at 5:45pm for it to be shut, meant to be open until 6pm!

MusicMagpie - mostly good
Website is mostly good, and tends to have the content I want to purchase at least 80% of time and at reasonable price.
I did have trouble with site keeping multiple items I wanted to buy in basket without clearing it when I go to look for other stuff (yes, I was signed in and I didn't use 'back' button instead of site menus).
Also had to order an album a second time, as first copy didn't read in CD player.
Content available via Amazon too, which is handy.

It was a great experience overall
It was a great experience overall. They held my items in the basket for a few days until I sorted out everything I wanted to sell. Perhaps they could have offered a little more on some items but that depends on the demand, I guess. Once they got my items, they made the payment on the very same day. Thank you so very much. Six DVDs all as new in great condition. The delivery was not so good. he knocked once by the time I got to the door less than 20 seconds, I caught him dumping the parcel on full view next to the gate, this seems to be a trend with Evri, now using foreign labour. Pay peanuts expect monkeys
