Terrible experience
Very disappointing experience with Motion Finance as the broker who arranged my vehicle finance with MotoNovo.
The finance application itself was straightforward, but once the vehicle developed a fault shortly after purchase and was rejected within the 30-day period, the experience became extremely frustrating.
The dealer has accepted the return and collected the vehicle, while MotoNovo is handling the finance unwind. Despite this, the process has remained unresolved for weeks, with the dealer saying it is waiting for the finance company and the finance company saying it is still waiting for information from the dealer/broker.
As the broker who arranged the finance, I expected Motion Finance to help coordinate matters and establish exactly where the process was stuck. Instead, I have been left having to chase the dealer and finance company myself while remaining without the vehicle and with substantial funds still tied up in the transaction.
I eventually contacted Motion Finance specifically asking them to intervene and identify what was causing the delay.
A broker’s service should not end once the finance agreement is signed. When something goes wrong, customers should be able to rely on the broker to help communicate with the parties they introduced and assist in getting the matter resolved.
At the time of writing, I am still waiting for the rejection, finance unwind and financial settlement to be fully concluded.
I will update this review once the matter has been resolved.
