Worst delivery service ever. Pizza hut is more effective than this bunch of lazy liars deliver team!
Great service by Maltapost courier Simon Gaffarena. Tks for you service.
I have been purchasing goods from the UK via Maltapost SendOn for quite sometime now, never had a complaint before! But since last July 2020 things went completely wrong!
I had to receive via SendOn 2 separate parcels via UK Standard Hub and finally today I received one package!
I was told that apparently these items had been scanned but never posted! I filed a complaint with Maltapost and finally the problem has been solved due to my perseverance and with the assistance of my suppliers! Apparently, I found out that my code number was not written on the package by the suppliers!
I am now grateful to my suppliers and Maltapost SendOn for their cooperation and for solving this long outstanding problem! Thank you.
I used Maltapost to ship a parcel from malta to another EU country that contained my personnal computer as i was moving out of the country.
When i opened it, i realized it had been opened and everything in it was destroyed.
The pc box was destroyed beyond repair with pieces of plastic everywhere. It was also weirdly filled with dust, way more than when i had packed it cleaned.
Its feet were broken off and the whole front pannel had been ripped off, breaking all the plastic that attached it to the main frame.
The screen support was broken. The keyboard keys had been ripped off and where no longer even in the package.
The computer components themselves had been ripped off from the motherboard and left loose in it, with metal bended on some pieces.
Thank god i had removed my drives as i travelled with them separately. Maybe they were looking for these and who knows what theyd have done if i had left them there.
The pc box is so destroyed i have to throw it away. I do not know what components are still working, and i might as well start building a new pc with whatever pieces i can still use from this one.
This is the worse shipping experience Ive ever had in my life.
I have been using Maltapost for decades and have always found them to be efficient, reasonably prices and with excellent customer service. My latest request for assistance was met by Mr. Andre Barbara, and everything went flawlessly. Tbh I have no idea why the reviews are so crap for Maltapost. I highly recommend. Ps: Note to the public: Please pay your phone bills online because you're too damn slow and fill up each branch with your unnecessary papers.
the most terrible service in Malta, customer service hopeless, no one is answering to the phone at any time at any day. When they call you, they are rude, they threaten that if you don't pay they won't deliver the package even if you have already paid, this service must be suspended.
Absolute disgrace! A joke of an postal operator. Would even go as far as saying that it's a scam. Never get anything delivered via MaltaPost!
Getting through to these guys is not possible. Email, call, chat, you choose it. Not going to happen. Literally anyone I have ever spoken with in this organization seems to care at all, so unmotivated to go the mandatory inch.
Now for the scam part: I suspect they are genuinely scamming customers out of money. This is how it works: When you have a delivery coming, they leave just a notice that you were not home. Then, because customer service is cr*p and lines in the offices are ridiculous, it's way more convenient for you just to PAY EXTRA for re-delivery. There was no call, no ring of doorbell. Camera system confirmed that there was no effort whatsoever to reach me.
Is this company policy of MaltaPost, or just one office?
Extremely poor customer service - When they get overwhelmed they switch OFF their telephones with NOBODY manning the emails or their facebook messenger page - their livechat although being advertised has been taken down as well.
I did over a week everyday desperately trying to get through - with not even a reply to emails and messages left everywhere!
Moral of this story is: If you have a problem with Maltapost - good luck to you buddy, they sure as heck dont care enough to even answer an email.
Isthu!
Avoid Maltapost's services!
Used their Sendon service, and although tracking details and proof of delivery are showing that the package reached their hub, they still refuse to accept that they lost the item.
They have no control over their hubs in different countries, possibly no record logs or close communication except for some emails. As a result they offer useless assistance to most related issues that can arise. In my case, I spent more than 6 months trying to get their assistance, until finally their customer services manager bluntly refused to assist. Issue now escalated to the consumer authority.
Trying to call their customer centre means waiting on the line in queue for 45 minutes, possibly wasting more than 5-10eur every call.
They also don't always reply to emails. When they do, sometimes they promise you that someone will call you, but they don't.
Avoid their services if you don't want to risk losing your packages without getting any helpful customer support!
All my parcels are lost and I wonder what they do with them. Apparently I'm not the only one with this issue and I think someone should investigate this because it smells quite fishy. In the last 2 months, only 2 out of 10 parcels have arrived. And no, nothing from China whatsoever, parcels from Amazon sent from UK mainly. I live in Sliema with an easy address so no problem here neither. I always have to pay extra so they send via DHL/UPS and I'm sure they arrive. One of those 2 arrived parcels was a pants and I found them hanging from my mailbox like they tried to push them inside... horrible! Not reliable at all.
Postman decides to leave a note rather than ring the doorbell and somehow MaltaPost still manage to lose the package. However, they still decide to post their flyers with their false slogan: Committed to deliver.
What a joke! As most have said, worst postal service ever
They charge ridiculous rates: €23 to ship a tiny parcel (15x15x15cm) to the UK. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!
When do people realize that the service of MaltaPost is fully dependent on the lack of education for people employed by MaltaPost. So as long they don't invest in better more educated staff nothing unfortunately will change.
I agree with other posts, the service of Malta Post is from a third world country. The customer service is probably the worst i've experienced anywhere in the world
When you order parcels, even from within the EU, you can expect Malta Post or Malta customs to hold your parcel for a week before actually doing something with it. Malta Post reflects the Maltese mentality, just like many other public companies on this island: lazy, careless and zero work ethics. Why is it that other countries get your parcels through in a couple of days, while Malta Post takes forever to start working? I look at the tracking number and it's always the same: the parcel left the origin country a week ago, and after that there are no updates (because it's stuck in Malta and they haven't even scanned it). Not to mention, their delivery guys most often don't even ring the doorbell, but just leave a note without even trying. Again: lazy, careless and no work ethics.
Essentially a third world post experience. Good luck if you decide to utilise.
Useless customer service, they cant answer any questions. Like: Can you see what address you have tried to deliver to, so I don't keep giving you the same "No I can't see"
You have to call customer service 5 times before someone wants to speak to you, you have the music wait tone, then the ringing, and people pick up, but then just hang up again!
Malta is the local post, but they find it hard to find very simple addresses that all foreign delivery services can find! Their customer service is useless and rude, they interrupt you and hang up!
Overall I will advice poeple to use an other service if possible!
Very bad service and what a cheat!! the sendon service is a complete ripoff.... for a monopoly game to be delivered from the UK they charged 19 euro when a local company YSWS charges 15 euro up to 15 kilos. What a joke, Never again Maltapost Bye Bye.....
A small parcel will take less to arrive from the end of the world by sea, then from Maltapost to the next neighbor village. Believe me, if you if yo want to use Maltapost services then think twice! It is better to trust a pigeon delivering your package as it was done back in medieval time then send it with the Maltese National Post Services.
