I can’t recommend L&C Mortgages highly enough! They were fantastic from start to finish and made the whole journey of buying my first property so much easier and less stressful.

A special thank you to Jake Aldridge, who was incredibly helpful throughout the process. He was always fast and efficient when responding to my questions and was more than happy to provide advice whenever I needed it.

What really stood out to me was that Jake went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the best possible mortgage rate. Even after I had found a mortgage I was happy with and was ready to proceed, he continued looking at the available options and found me an even better rate. It was reassuring to know that he genuinely had my best interests at heart;
The process also wasn’t completely straightforward given the source of my deposit funds and the NSC property, but Jake was extremely supportive and knowledgeable throughout. He took the time to understand my circumstances and made sure I ended up with a mortgage that was right for me.

Good experience with L&C. Would have been 5 stars, but they’ve become a bit more automated and so we have had an excess of random emails and feel it now lacks the personal touch that it used to have. Still v efficient though

Great experience overall

I had a good experience with L&C Mortgages and, in particular, with the broker who handled my application. The process took longer than expected and there were a few frustrating delays, but most of the issues were related to the lender and underwriting rather than L&C themselves.

Throughout the process, the team remained helpful, professional and kept working on the case until everything was resolved. It was definitely a case of “better late than never” — it took some time, but they got the job done.

I appreciate their patience and persistence, especially given the complications with the lender. Overall, I would recommend L&C to anyone looking for a mortgage broker.

Ian was a life saver when it came to getting our mortgage sorted, will definitely work with them again.

You found a suitable type of mortgage for me and gave good advice. There was a slight delay caused by an initial miscommunication to the mortgage provider, but this was rectified when it was found and then things moved on.

Our mortgage advisor Alia was fantastic throughout. She was very quick to respond to any questions, was able to update mortgage recommendations at short notice, and kept us extremely well-informed throughout. Hugely recommend!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Sean Hudson highly enough. He helped me with both my residential and buy-to-let remortgage cases, which turned out to be quite a complex situation, but Sean handled everything brilliantly from start to finish.

He was incredibly patient, personable, friendly and professional, and always took the time to explain things clearly and make sure I understood what was happening. His communication was excellent throughout, and he was always approachable, positive and genuinely pleasant to deal with.

Even when things became complicated, Sean remained calm, helpful and reassuring, and he went above and beyond to help get everything moving in the right direction.

It’s rare to come across someone who combines such a high level of professionalism with such a genuinely friendly and cheerful personality.
