Wow, bad reviews all round!

Wow! I can't tell you how surprised I was when I came on here to look up Katie Loxton! I never in a million years thought that over 50% of their views would not be 5 star!
I like their products and have at least 3 small bags. All seem OK so far.
I decided to treat myself to the dusky pink weekend bag and matching washbag after seeing them in my local John Lewis.
I also decided to get them monogrammed, but with the basic not embroidered option.
However PLEASE NOTE! If you decide to order via a smartphone it MAY not show you a preview and you should note that the non-embroidered option is tiny - only about 1cm high in gold leaf which does look pretty pathetic on the massive weekend bag. Had I known how small they would be I would have happily gone for the larger embroidered option, but as I didn't get a preview I was led to believe that it would be as shown in the pictures with the initials being appropriately 1 inch high. Don't get caught out like I did. They initially threw my complaint out saying there is a preview - I then screenshot my steps showing that actually - no, on my phone there isn't a preview picture - and I'm awaiting their 2nd reply. If they don't reply I'll be reporting them to trading standards because a seller should provide clear information, pictorial if necessary such as this case, particularly when personalisation is involved. They should also ensure that their Web pages work fully across all mediums.

Service is appalling ordered item 48…

Service is appalling ordered item 48 hours tracking week later no delivery. Only able to contact through AI chat and they then email you. Have done this on several occasions. Even asked for refund as its a birthday gift so I can purchase something else. Heard nothing back from them. WILL NEVER PURCHASE AGAIN

Amazing bag and service

I ordered a bag as a gift which was rather last minute. The bag I ordered was an engraved one, and I received it within 24 hours of ordering it. I did pay extra for faster delivery, but could not fault the service or delivery at all. The bag itself appears to be very well made and I can't fault the product itself or the service received.

Very poor service

I won’t be using this company again! My daughter purchased a cross body bag in March 2025 as a Mother’s Day gift for myself. I have only ever used the bag for special occasions so it has only had light use. However, two weeks ago the zip broke on the bag, we contacted customer service and because it was 2 weeks over the 1 year warranty they will not do anything about it. They haven’t offered to fix the zip or give a voucher. Very disappointed in the quality and service. The bag cost £42.50 so I would have expected it to last longer than a year.
My advice to anyone is to avoid buying anything from them. The items look nice but they are obviously not built to last.

I absolutely love my new bag

I absolutely love my new bag! The material is so soft, and I can use it both for evening events and day-to-day use. I love that I can fit everything I need in there, even though it looks small. The Customer service was also great, and the packaging is such a lovely additional touch.

I had such a lovely experience with this company from start to finish. The packaging was beautiful and made the whole purchase feel extra special. The customer service was incredible friendly and helpful. Any questions I had were answered promptly and politely. Very impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to others! ⭐️

Split purse

My daughter purchased a crossbody bag and matching purse for me Christmas 2024. The purse has split and I only use it for 3 cards, driving licence and a few notes..no change/coins. I contacted them but as warranty is for 1 year they wouldn't do anything not even a voucher as good will so I wont be purchasing from them again.

Exceeded expectations - highly recommended

Gosh, first time purchase from KL and I am very impressed!
The bag I ordered has exceeded my expectations, it looks really classy, well made, and far more expensive than it was. I am thrilled with it !
The package arrived very promptly, the bag itself was beautifully packaged.
I have now ordered another bag in a different colour, which, in itself says everything.
Highly recommended 👍🏼

Was given a bag as a gift a while ago…

Was given a bag as a gift a while ago the toggle came off and I lost it , contacted Katie Loxton to see if I could BUY a replacement toggle or new string to help close the bucket bag after 3 emails telling me they couldn’t help unless I provided the receipt , I told them each time I don’t want a refund I don’t want it for free I was more than happy to pay they seemed to struggle with that then quite literally telling me nope they can’t help so I now have a bag I’ve used once and is no good ! I’ve recommended them before however very poor service and would not recommend! Poor service

Avoid suitcases / bags

Purchased a cabin suitcase which now transpires is certainly designed for looks rather than functionality. Topples over without any proper weight in the case. The coating scuffs so easily which is seriously impractical for a suitcase. I also purchased the cabin bag and the zip fell off after using for the first time. Wouldn’t recommend or purchase again.

Do not purchase anything from katieloxton!!!!!

I was bought a suitcase and bag with my initials on it which I received on January 18. I traveled one week later and before I reached my destination one of the zip locks fell off. I contacted customer service y friend who purchased it contacted customer service and nothing. What a horrendous customer service and I would not recommend you purchase anything from this company!!!!

Disappointed - DO NOT buy the backpack.

Disappointed. Initially I thought it was cool to have my initials in a bag, but unfortunately my experience was the same as another review that I saw in here:

1) I had the backpack for a year, not carrying lots of weight (just by laptop and lunchbox everyday) and the "leather" of a strap just ripped off. No durability at all. Another item to polute the world now.

2) The backpack is always open because the magnetic is not good enough, so I paid £20 to a different company to add velcro to increase safety.

Get yourself a good backpack - not Katie Loxton.

Lovely makeup bag

I ordered a large makeup bag, website was extremely easy to navigate with easy visuals to monogram. Delivery was super quick. Packaging was beautiful and the makeup bag is true to website and I’m very happy with it. Definitely use this company again.

Excellent Customer Service

I very rarely write reviews, but after receiving such excellent customer service I felt I needed to.

I contacted the customer service team after discovering that the sunglasses I’d purchased were missing one of the nose supports when I went to wear them for the first time. Within an hour, I received a response advising that a replacement pair had already been sent out and would be with me shortly.

Laptop not made to website dimensions

I have purchased quite a few thing from Katie Loxton this year and especially over Christmas.
I purchased the laptop bag and before I purchased it, I measured my laptop bag. The measurements online were 26.5 cm x 37.5 cm x 5 cm and my laptop was the just a cm shorter in all dimensions. It does not fit, the bag is smaller than it looks and there is no give to get laptop in. I did personalise it as I thought that I had done my homework. I have tried to send it back and Katie Loxton will not refund due to the strap being personalised. I like the laptop bag, it is not what described on the website. So I have a useless laptop bag at the cost of £40!

CABIN SUITCASE

I purchased a cabin suitcase for my daughter. It’s beautiful BUT you just can’t leave it standing alone. It constantly topples over. The case certainly wasn’t overloaded - we only went for a one night trip! It wheels along ok but as soon as you let go of the handle whilst standing still the case falls over. The wheel positioning is not good. It stands fine when empty 🤷‍♀️. Very disappointed as the case is damaged already from constantly falling.
