I did an ISA transfer to Invest Engine In-specie and it literally took about 4-5 days. Very impressive 👍
Great platform for set and forget investors - customer experience could be improved
I’ve had an excellent experience with InvestEngine investment platform so far. There is an assortment of ETF’s for SIPP, Stocks and Shares ISA and general investment and the app’s user interface is pretty straightforward to set up. Savings plan which sets a direct debit or a recurring sweeping payment , depending on the bank. It’s a good and simple platform for entry level set and forget investors. I’ve only dropped one star for the reasons below: 1)unlike many platforms, there is no interest gained from any uninvested portfolio cash and 2) customer support: in my experience, after the initial AI assisted response,it takes a while for a real person to get back to any customer queries sometimes very delayed . I also have slight worries reading some of the comments on their own customer engagement portal that they’ve had so much of difficulties with ISA transfers and SIPP drawdowns .Due to this , I still need to have more time to decide whether I will keep using this platform or perhaps transfer to other likewise commission and fee free platforms to hold my future money. I will however recommend investors to give InvestEngine platform a try for the reasons I mentioned above.
Really easy to use with great ETFs

Clear concise and well balanced portfolio
Cash transfers into ISA stocks and shares account - a real disappointment
Done a one off transfer that was meant for the only account opened with InvestEngine that was a stocks and shares ISA and by surprise the amount ended up into a new opened account as cash, far away from being hold of cash into the ISA account. I wouldn’t recommend for holding anything in cash.

The best and easiest investing broker
The best and easiest to use investing ETF broker I have ever used, and I highly recommend it to everyone.
Slow
Slow. I invested on a Friday afternoon and the transaction was placed on Monday afternoon with completion due by Wednesday. I’m used to instant services and whilst they don’t advertise speed, it’s a little disappointing just how slow it is….
Love the app and the workings
Love the app and the workings. Great set of funds
don't ask for selfies, it's overreach of privacy!
Ok, I have been with invest engine for over 1year. At the time of sign-up they only ask for gov id like uk Driving License which is fine. but now they sent me emails asking for Bank statements which I'm happy to provide but they also ask for source of funds, and Selfie. Selfie is a bit overreach for me due to selfie scams and privacy reasons. I feel like they didn't ask me these questions during sign-up to ensure I do invest with investengine and then sneakily ask/require this information later once you've invested your pot with them. Fees are low indeed, but if you value privacy don't recommend! Planning to close my account if they keep asking

Super easy app and easy simple fees
Super easy app and easy simple fees. I jave a managed ISA and takes out the thinking for minimal cost. Customerservice is also easy to contact, helpful, and releatively quick to respond

This is the first month I'm using the Autoinvest option. When compared to other similar platforms, I find disappointing the amount of time it takes for the cash to be visible and the transaction to take place. 2 business days have passed since the Autoinvest day and the money has just appeared in the account but still showing as cash. Not meeting my expectations

Easy and straightforward to use
Easy and straightforward to use. If you’re not into individual shares then InvestEngine is for you. There are many low cost ETF to choose from. Personally I invest in All world fund with monthly deposit setup.
Excellent platform for broad index or sector thematic investing.
Excellent platform, low frills but it offers every function it needs to as well as some good nice to haves, the portfolio analytics tool is great for if you get curious about what exactly you own and it makes it very simple to stay on top of the details for even quite a complex allocation.
They offer only ETFs but the range is good and for the bulk of an investment plan that limit is almost certainly a Very Good Thing.
Terrible, consider before putting your money in InvestEngine
Terrible, I highly regret depositing my money in InvestEngine. I waited for 3 weeks for ISA transfer, I emailed for an update for 1 week (still no reply).
I added money for this tax year. Now I want to take money out after realising customer service doesn't respond.
I cannot withdraw my money after 3 business days, no one is responding after days. Does anyone even work here? Please just close my account.
Edit: It's been 10 working days and money is still not withdrawn

Locked out of my funds during a house move — support has gone silent
"UPDATE TUESDAY: Still completely locked out. Support is now just sending emails telling me to check with my provider they aren't blocked, completely ignoring the fact that I am replying to them from this exact inbox.
#350858 29 May 2026
I am currently in the middle of a stressful house move and have been completely locked out of my account for over a week due to a failure in InvestEngine's automated 2FA system.
I have sent over 10 emails to support and complaints. Yesterday and today, I was told by a support agent that 2FA had been removed from my account so I could log in—this was untrue, and I am still completely locked out. Now, my emails are being ignored and your registered corporate phone number goes straight to voicemail.
Preventing a customer from accessing their capital during a time-sensitive property move is unacceptable. Because you have ceased communication, I am now escalating this matter directly to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) as an urgent case of financial hardship and customer vulnerability.
Please have a senior manager look at #350858 and unlock my access immediately.

Horrible not existent customer service
Horrible not existent customer service. I submitted a query cua the contact form - no response. I sent an email - no response. I tried to contact them via phone - not possible. I chatted with their chat both a d asked for a solution - I was asked to submit a form I asked the both to speak to a human - not possible. In essence - if you have an issue do not count on a resolution. You are stuck.
