Terrible Customer Service
Seems like this is a reoccurring matter of the never-stick pans which Imperial group don't want to do anything about! Why have a automated telephone number but with no further redirection numbers to follow? Instead navigate everyone to the enquires email which we wont get a reply back from, waiting 2 weeks for a reply!
Should have known better when I brought the pans, seemed like it was too good to be true. Evidently its the case in this instance.
Scoville Frying Pan Food sticks like s**t on a blanket
Having read the blurb I was taken in but just like every non-stick pan before it failure soon followed I bought a 20cm Frying pan which for a short while looked very promising then without any warning and no apparent damage the coating has failed even water which was formerly shed like water on a lotus leaf now sticks instead of beading as it had, Total rubbish and if your not capable of jumping over the moon with both hands tied behind your back, the guarantee is worthless even when you have registered the purchase.
Scoville Neverstick pans are a total scam !
Like many others who have complained online, both here and on other sites, I bought a Scoville Neverstick (28cm) frying pan from Asda, largely because of the "Lifetime Guarantee", details of which appear prominently on the packaging.
After a few months food began sticking and so I wrote to the parent company Imperial GB, who initially asked me for photographs and then gave me, what I now know is their standard excuse namely, that the pan was overheated by me, which I know is untrue.
I would strongly recommend that you do not fall for this scam like I and so many others have.
BEWARE - DO NOT BUY NEVERSTICK PANS !!!
Terrible quality and service. DO NOT BUY!
Purchased a Scoville Neverstick pan about a year ago after seeing then cook an egg without any oil at all online. Got the pan and at first it was amazing to the point I recommended to many friends and family.
However here I am 12m later and the open is rubbish. Everything sticks too it. I contacted Imperial who sent my pictures to their "experts" and sure enough my warranty claim was rejected. Seems like I got the same cut and paste email that everyone else gets about me having overheated them. This is absolutely not the case and clearly a reason to avoid paying it for a new pan for me. It's not worth the hassle of challenging their decision, they clearly don't care, so now I'll just spend my time educating people in what this company are really like.
Sssooo dissappointed
Bought a 28cm and the 18cm(?) about 18 months ago from ASDA. Initially very impressed, but for the last 6 months the larger one has been virtually unusable, as everything, but everything, sticks! Smaller one is better, but not much! Having read the revues, no point in complaining to Imperial, so I will just finish by saying DO NOT BUY....YOU WILL BE DISSAPPOINTED!!!!!
Their pans lose their non stick after 3 months avoid buying
DO NOT BUY THE SCOVILLE KITCHEN PAN RANGE FROM ASDA. The pan coating will wain after a few months leaving them useless.
Scoville is a "label" under the parent company Imperial GB/Group Imperial This company also operate under the name of "Easygilde" and "Neverstick".
Within a year all my pans are losing the non stick ability. Many other users have experienced the same. I didn't have my receipt and Asda suggested I contact Scoville. This is where it gets interesting and shows them up for being irresponsible.
Their lifetime guarantee is worthless.
They will use ridiculous excuses not to fulfil the guarantee.
Do your homework on GB Imperial before buying any the products in their branding.
Neverstick3 Pans - Don't buy
I purchased two Neverstick3 Pans from John Lewis and both of the pans lost their non-stick ability within about 6 months. I searched the internet to see if others had suffered similar problems and discovered, despite the pans being dishwasher safe, the dishwasher does actually damage the pans.
Disappointed with this, I wrote to Imperial and complained about the pans and, their assessment after viewing my photographs is that I got the pans too hot and this is actually the cause of the pans no longer being non-stick. I have been sent some care instructions for my damaged pans, which will obviously be of no help since the pans are already damaged.
Personally, I think any instructions about possible over-heating of a pan should be made more visible. I also think Imperial are in breach of trade descriptions by quoting 'dishwasher safe' as one of their unique selling points...hence this review.
My advice, don't buy Neverstick pans, plenty of similarly priced competitor products I wished I had bought instead.
NeverStick2 frying pan poor quality and no service.
I have bought easiglide NeverStick2 frying pan a few months ago. As stated by the manufacturer - 'Lifetime Guarantee including the non-stick'. You need to register for a guarantee on the company website. We do it. After a month, the bottom of the pan is shoved curvature. The frying pan has become dangerous to use with an electric hub.
Complete the form online 'contact us'. We described a situation.
For two months there has been no reaction from the company.
