I have had a number of wins on this site all been easy the site itself is ok not sure if they are the ones that inspected each unit prior to the sale???
I have is the issues with the actual storage companies On arrival I have found that any thing of value had already been removed from the lockers

All the boxes had all been gone through on questioning this was as told its procedure

So be very aware if you try this out

iBidOnStorage is actively shielding a seller involved in selling stolen property and is refusing to cooperate despite legal and police intervention.

🚨 The Legal Case & Supporting Evidence
A legally binding court judgment (Case No: M7QZ5424) was issued on February 12, 2025, confirming that Access Self Storage unlawfully sold my property.
The stolen items were later sold through iBid to a trader called Nassim Bessi / NY Best Deals Ltd (Company No: 15418654).
The matter is under active police investigation (Metropolitan Police Report Ref: 01/7101693/25) and Action Fraud inquiry (Ref: NFRC250207160350).
eBay has also acknowledged the issue and has requested police confirmation before removing the stolen items from sale (eBay Case Ref: 1-490696986465).
❌ iBid's Failure to Cooperate & Shielding the Seller
Despite overwhelming evidence and an official court ruling proving the sale was unlawful, iBid:
🔹 Refuses to provide the seller’s contact details, obstructing legal action.
🔹 Ignores multiple formal requests to assist in resolving the case.
🔹 Makes excuses rather than ensuring their platform is not used for illegal activity.

🚨 Why This is Serious:

iBid facilitated the sale of stolen goods—and now they are covering up for the buyer instead of helping.
Their refusal to cooperate raises serious ethical and legal concerns about their business practices.
If they allow stolen property to be sold through their platform without any accountability, what else are they allowing?

If you buy from or sell through iBid, you should ask yourself:

A legitimate auction house should be transparent and responsible, NOT protect individuals selling stolen items. iBid has proven they do not care about ethical business practices.

I've Noticed a lot of bots cause the way the bid is stupid you have 7 day 2 people but lets say 20$ then a person comes bids 400$ that's Ridiculous u always bid on the last day with small amounts the people and the bots that do this is Pathetic that's not how you do it Another note.
When you bid yoir not suppose to know what's inside the go Through everything everything amd posted on the site not good

at auction are always scrambled boxes. After an auction, the rooms are literally searched, so that the buyer only picks up garbage.

Grant and the team @ iBid are brilliant operators - fast to respond to queries, very approachable too!

iBid works really well, great number of bidders and interested parties - clearly marketed very well, which is great to see!

Always impressed with the setup, and how it benefits both the seller and the buyer in equal measures -

Fast to pay out - fair on terms too, always know where we stand !

Saved us fortunes in disposals and man power to clear units, helped keep items out of landfill & a great opportunity for the bidder to grab a bargain!

I like the idea but the website is so terrible. I've never used a terrible site like this. It constantly crashes and it's impossible to reach the website owners. They never respond to emails. I think it might be a scam.

Response to the reply from iBidOnStorage. My name is obviously not Erick. The reply you just gave us tells me how serious your business is when you can't figure out that I'd use a fake name. Didn't matter. I got suspended anyway.

I have been using Ibid for about 8 months and have won about six different auctions in that time. I would highly recommend this website. The process from viewing the different units up for auction, to bidding and then the process afterwards is all very slick and simple.

The communication with staff after winning an auction has been great with staff very helpful.

I plan on using this site as a means of making extra money in addition to a day job for the foreseeable future.

My only suggestion for them to consider is that from the point where you win an auction you have two days to attend the storage unit and collect the items. The other main competitor for online auctions gives you seven days. If you have a Monday to Friday 8-4 job this makes it difficult to attend if an auction finishes on a Mon/Tue/Wed night. It would be helpful if the two day period was increased to five or seven days. Most people in reality are going to want to go get the contents as soon as they can. But the difficulty is a lot of storage places close at 5pm and if its several hours away from where you live.

Fantastic, I had a couple of minor issues at my end, but the team at Ibid were superb, helpful and guided me through everything.
If only all companies were as helpful and polite as them.
Highly recommended for sellers and buyers.

I have been using ibid to buy abandoned storage for a couple of years now and I meant to leave a review well before now.
ibid are probably the best company I deal with,there have been times when things have not gone to plan but they have always pulled out all the stops and sorted it straight away. you'll only find out how good a company is when you need their help.

Very interesting website. Same concept with storage wars but way better because everything is online - you can bid while you're working, eating or drinking ☺️
