Really bad service, and pretty difficult to get through to anyone on the phone. I've just made a call and I could hear everyone talking in the office, but no one has responded to me. Also, their website is absolutely appalling and really not user-friendly.

Just want money. Fined in Low traffic road 3 times in 3 days I have been using for 40+years. sign-posts obscured by trees and even the photo they sent, did not show the sign-post. Anti-car, high tax, love money, no quarter.

I had an extremely negative experience with Hounslow Council, as it became evident that their primary concern is making money rather than addressing the needs of the residents. Despite my complaint about a business littering in an industrial estate, their promises of follow-up within 2-3 weeks were empty, with no one contacting me. Even after multiple attempts to reach out, including a month later when they claimed it was a priority, I received no response. It has now been over 6 months, and the lack of responsibility and accountability from the council is unacceptable.

So today in fusilier way there has been a leak where my sister lives. And the council decide to turn all the water supply off? She's disabled and has no water feed at all! Rather than try and find a solution for a disabled lady they decided to take her basic staple human right of having basic needs of water - hey hounslow council when did we become 3rd world without basics living essentials?

Yes we called them and asked they said we cannot help till Monday so now she has nothing at all - this is basic needs HOUNSLOW? Cone on she pays her taxes but you decide not to HELP? Disgusting behaviour

Council should Plant very tall trees along side open roads to shade and keep people cool in cars and prevent heat strokes in Summer prevent heat waves, cars will also use lesser aircon in EV cars thus increase range of EV cars and use less electricity

Very tall type of trees which have only branches and leaves at the top of the trees and only the trunk at the bottom with no leaves

My wife is disabled cars keep parking in front of the front door and parking in front of the side entrance a so my wife is trapped in the house she rang the Council to day they aren't going to do a thing about it they do not care about disabled people as long as you pay your bills on time that's all thay care about had the police out as are lives are being threatened over the parking my wife is scared to be on her own do not want to live hear eny more the Council do not won't to no thinking of not paying eney more bills why should we

I phoned Hounslow Council yesterday morning to advise there was a dead fox near the former Brentford Police station. I spoke to someone for over 10 minutes. I was assured the matter would be dealt with and that someone would phone me to give a job reference number. Nobody phoned me back and the dead fox still hasn't been removed. Disgusting.

Repairs is useless! Report a repair & you will still be waiting 2 months later! Rang 3 times to chase this they want their rent paid on time but don’t want to repair their properties even though as a landlord they have a duty of care! Appalling service.

Scam, poor service, abuse of power, like to take your money for no reason.

The council must provide emergency…
The council must provide emergency housing if they think you might: be legally homeless. meet the immigration conditions. have a priority need because of children, pregnancy, domestic abuse, or anything else that makes you vulnerable or at more risk of harm.

Hounslow council are trying to scam leaseholders on their estates by charging them for decorating works on properties that will be knocked down and regenerated. Why pay for something that is not necessary? To line the pockets of the people in the council. And why are they going to use contractors that belong to Hounslow council? To line their pockets even more.
Hounslow council are there to make as much money as they can from people in the Borough. They do not want to help in any way. Even for them to answer a telephone call or an email is too much bother.
An absolute joke.

Absolutely ridiculous. The worst . They live up to the terrible name they have made for themselves. They take forever to do anything.

My shower has not worked for a week now. I haven't been able to even have a shower. I keep telling them. They keep on telling me that I will be referred to the PLANNING TEAM. THEY HAVE SAID THIS 4 TIMES NOW. THIS IS AN EMERGENCY.. CAN IT BE TREATED LIKE ONE AT LEAST. Pathetic...

I’ve recently had my bathroom retiled by Jimmy Tomlinson this guy went above and beyond worked overtime to get it finished. I cannot thank him enough highly recommend. Was left in my flat whilst I was working or went out Tidy up after himself would have him bk to do work anytime. I’m so very grateful for everything

We moved from Ealing Borough to Hounslow Borough a decade ago, it probably was the worst decision we made. Unfortunately we are stuck here as we cannot afford to sell and move elsewhere. Apart from Hounslow Highways services (credit where it's due), this council operates on its own terms and conditions. The complaints department is a joke, recycling / waste collection services is below standard, crime prevention tactics is non-existent, Hounslow has become a dumping ground for fly tipping and their response is a flyer promoting what they are doing about it in Dreamland, traffic management across peak times at school probably is something pending in their agenda for the past 20 years, in terms of healthcare, just have faith in God to get you through life and not rely on them. Their rapid response does not even have blood testing capabilities, even though the services is funded by tax payers. You have to fight a battle to get anything for the vulnerable, however if the vulnerable person is gone to a better place, they won't waste 24 hours to stop payments and collect assets. Unfortunately it's a soar fact of life the conditions we are living in this borough. Cost of living crisis and the working class are getting battered, hard times we are living in while others are laughing in comfort in wealth and office desks!

What the hell is going on with this council. For goodness sake will someone get a grip at this council!! Answering the phone and actually taking the call would be a start! Why are tax payers paying wages for these people at Hounslow Council who are not helping the people who phone. To be on hold for 30mins and then get a message
which was barely understandable, something like call back again. On this occasion 2 people were calling in the hope one would get through and still the same message. How appalling is that!! Please get your act together so the taxpayers are getting there value for their contribution to the running of your office.

Useless people!!!
Making you to pay so much money for taxes every month, but can't even collect bins, making excuses like you need to use the purple bags...that's the only bag we use! If you have any problems with your bills, you will never get through to sort them out, but they are quick to send you letter, hell even eviction notice if you miss one month of payment due to their lack of responsibility. Can't wait to move from this hell hole!

Notified after the 14 day discount for parking fine so impossible to get discount; signage onlybindicates you are in a prohibited zone ponce vehicle has already entered

Awful, they pass by my building every week and they refused to collect the rubbish recycling bins. When approach them they drive away, they are rude and couldn't careless. There are piles and piles or uncollected rubbish everywhere.
Last time they collected the bins was October 2021 after days if not months of complains.

I recently moved to London Borough of Hounslow. By far this is the worst borough to live in. Getting a council tax bill nearly impossible and rubbish collection missed or left uncollected.

Contacted the council and nearly an hour on the phone and nothing sorted.

For now I have resorted taking my rubbish and recycling at space-waye recycling centre.

Thank you space waye ***** Without them would have been impossible.

If the council isn’t doing their job properly please take your green blue and red boxes. Unfit for propose. Only good at spending other peoples hard earned money on things that doesn’t help the tax payer.
