Cruelty and greed, submitting children to rain and cold

Ealing borough is completely disgusting and inhumane. They decided to close Perimead Road to traffic, not allowing the parents to take their children to Perivale school by car anymore. Now children have to walk huge distances in the rain and cold, not to mention the fact that they got many people to pay fines because the signs showed up there suddenly and parents didn't even notice. Don't vote in these people, they are greedy monsters with no humanity, not even towards children. This is of the utmost cruelty.

Website failure

Your website ealing.gov.uk is currently unreachable from standard broadband connections.
The browser error is:
“This site can’t be reached – the server unexpectedly closed the connection.”
This is not a local network issue. The site fails on:
– Multiple devices
– Multiple ISPs
– External uptime checkers
– Different browsers
However, the site does load on mobile data, which suggests a partial server-side outage or misconfigured TLS endpoint affecting certain routes.
Could you please pass this to your web/IT team to investigate the server configuration, load balancer, or TLS handshake behaviour?

I've been left in the street from…

I've been left in the street from Ealing Council pregnant 37 weeks and 5 days, unlawfully from my case officer and her manager, I have been provided duty to relief homless and priority need. I made several complaints trough the council.
All being ignored.
I have contacted MP
Ealing Council is failing to house pregnant women and discriminated me.
I am also in the morning in touch with a lawyer.
Be aware if you make a homless application heavily pregnant they not help you and due to ongoing application where they breach the law by leaving you in the street.
You cannot apply to another council.
Because once they accepted duty to care by law they must comply with it.
In my case there is been discrimination.
And maladministration.

Never ever buy a flat run by Ealing Council.

Please, never, ever get a flat that's leaseheld by Ealing Council. They will ruin your every waking minute. Endless leaks, mould issues, plumbing issues, broken intercoms, anything you want. Their tenant support is non-existent, you'll spend so much time waiting on the phone line to sort the smallest issues, their repair crew only attends an appointment if Saturn aligns with Mercury, both are in retrograde, the repairman's cat had salmon for lunch, the temperature is exactly 13.5 degrees and you haven't thought of the white elephant for a week and a half. It would be jokes, it's just not funny.

Dealing with this council had been the…

Dealing with this council had been the most infuriating and frustrating experience in my entire life. It's been 1.5h since I am trying to PAY my council tax. These people just don't want the money and I am seriously thinking to honour that wish.
I spoke to 3 different people and not even one tried to help me.
Edit: after 3 hours I finally managed to speak to Bridget who was very patient and explained everything. Thank you to the only one employee that actually works!

Disgusting behaviour by traffic warden and the goons they have walking around with them. Saw them threatening women, when confronted then out their cameras on. Shame on you Ealing Council. Time for some auditors to start documenting this.

Seriously risky in Southall Broadway Markets Streets everywhere totally unsafe risk. CHRISTMAS CHRISTIANS Country UK at least PCN checkers needs to actively work for controlling this situations. Looked like willingly given them no jobs. Out of controlled VEHICLES parked unseasonably. So many risky drivers even though not bothered where they are parked completely over to footpaths pedestrians on risk to walk. Its like proper jungle mess all around unbelievably doesn't looks like LONDON UK'S main City. There are so many without BLUE BADGE parked inside the BLUE BADGE Parking. BLUE BADGE misusing significantly by their families using the disable person name. All families including SON DAUGHTERS RELATIVES and relatives friends and families all they gets disable to misusing BLUE BADGE. Shameless proper Culprits Criminals. There are so many Offensive activities occurred by the Residents also outside Residents reasons is the VEHICLES parking. Totally mismanagement systems no action taken by the Council to prevent anything. Thousands and thousands of people are coming in SOUTHALL for shopping so that strictly should to be maintained.

Totally useless council run by a well…

Totally useless council run by a well paid CEO who hasn't improved standards during his tenure; I swear to God neither he nor his buddy, the leader of the council, read the reviews on here, they should be totally ashamed but couldn't care less, the only thing that they are good at is allowing high rise tower blocks to be constructed, probably because they are getting back handers from the developers. Accusations of corruption is often mentioned on here. The Evening Standard discovered that the parking wardens were issued targets or face disciplinary action, a practice that is prohibited under the Traffic Management Act, despite recordings these scoundrels denied it!

Their rating would be even worse were minus figures allowed and as such 1.3 isn't a true reflection of the borough.

A rubbish council.

A rubbish council.
Run by incompetent corrupt low lives, cashing in on peoples grief and loss by charging £9000.00 for a grave, yet you don't have any wrights. They hardly visit the cemetery and one can't meet anybody from the council, because like thieves they are hiding. The cemetery is run by a gang without any rules or regulations.

Don't rent in Ealing Council areas as they simply don't care.

We have a flat in Hanwell. Neighbours keep throwing theirrubbish over the fence, tree growing up the back and rubbing our windows, gate to the flat falling off, ceiling falling in, no lights working in the stair well.
Tried to report it and the web site did not accept the information it asked for, so I called them and was told they would "make a note". It will have to be a very very big fag packet with the feed back on this site.

Absolutely disgraceful service from…

Absolutely disgraceful service from Ealing Council.

We are a community of 23 apartments, and our rubbish collection suddenly stopped without warning. Over four months, we’ve sent 28 letters to multiple council departments — and not ONE reply. Nothing. Total silence.

Meanwhile, nearly 200 bags of rotting rubbish piled up around our homes, swarming with rats, maggots, and filth. We’ve had vermin literally running over our feet, and the council couldn’t even be bothered to acknowledge us.

What’s incredible is that if a resident missed a single council payment, they’d be taken to court immediately — but when the council fails to provide the most basic service, they vanish. No communication, no responsibility, no care for public health or the community they’re paid to serve.

Ealing Council should be ashamed. This is a health hazard, a failure of duty, and a total disgrace to local government.

Useless housing officer and NCIRS

Honestly, Ealing Council is completely useless. I wouldn't even give them one star if I could.
I contacted them because I was living in a dangerous flat rented out by a rogue landlord. Mr. S.S. took my case — I thought something would finally be done, but he went on holiday right after and ignored all my emails.

I sent photo evidence, a doctor’s letter proving health impact, and even had the previous tenant willing to act as a witness. Still, he sided with the landlord. On the same day the management switched to the agent, he closed my case and even copied the landlord and agent in the email — basically helping them avoid responsibility.

Then NCIRS Team manager Ms.V.C said they had “no power” to make a safeguarding referral and told me to contact Housing. They just keep passing cases around until you give up.

If you work there, it must be a dream job — getting paid with residents’ council tax, doing nothing, and just redirecting people somewhere else. No stress, no responsibility, just wait for payday and go home on time.

Complaints? Completely useless.
No matter who you send them to, they don’t care.
They only care about when their salary comes and when they can leave work.

Honestly, after my final complaint, the Leader M.R. suddenly came for an “inspection” — but it was completely meaningless and a total waste of time.
From the moment they arrived, they were more concerned about where the agent was, instead of speaking to me — the actual tenant living in the property.
They continuously downplayed the issues and even refused to inspect a boiler that clearly has burn marks and has been internally leaking for years (over 20 years old). The physical condition was right in front of them, yet they declined to assess it and said they would “wait for the agent to explain.” (Photos will be attached)
Even after I provided professional reports from an engineer and block management confirming fire risk and leaking risk, they still refused to include this in their report.
Instead, they sided with the agent and described it as: “A little leaking but still can be used.”
A boiler with fire risk — and this is considered acceptable?
If everything has to rely on the agent’s version, then honestly, there is no point coming for an inspection at all. They could have just stayed at home, listened to the agent, and written the report. It would have saved everyone’s time.
The same applies to the windows, which are covered in mould — again, issues were minimised and not properly recorded.
This is the reality of my rental experience.
Welcome to Ealing.
This is how the council operates.
Council tax has increased, yet the service remains like this — a council that has been repeatedly criticised and named by the Ombudsman.
If you are planning to move to Ealing, please be careful — especially properties around Uxbridge Road (particularly buildings with bubble-like exterior, flat numbers ending in 10).
There are serious issues, and you cannot rely on the council to help you.
All of the above is based on my real experience.

Very bad council, horrible service

Very bad council. They have closed their offices and all work from home and still after 5 years blame covid for not being in the office. Only 1 day a month working from office. Their building looks like a disused building.
A project of landscaping at Glade Lane Canal side park Southall that meant to finish in 6 months took them more than 4 years and still not completed and waste taxpayers money. I have written many times to head of council and others and no reply.
No road surfacing being done at Havelock Road for years.
Ealing Council allowed thousands of apartments to be build in Southall with zero parking spaces and therefore causing parking issues to become unbelievable in Southall.
Worst ever council known to me.
They have reduced brightness on street lights to a candle only size and you can not see the road.

Great until one of their services…

Great until one of their services doesn’t work. The dirtbags at Ealing don’t even inform their staff and the companies that work for them of what happens. My mum who is a vulnerable person was without heating, water or electricity for 9 days last year. It has happened again this year and we don’t have any water. Trying to get an answer from Ealing council is like taking blood out of a stone.

No water supply for over 3 weeks

I am a lease holder in an Ealing council building.
No hot water for over 3 weeks
No heating for over 3 weeks
No drinking water for over 3 weeks
A continuous leak also next to an electrical supply.
I have two children both under 10
Ealing Council refuse to help me
Ealing Council have refused to come and isolate water supply so I can pay for my repairs to be done.
This is an health and safety risk

The council is currently falling short…

The council is currently falling short in their responsibilities to the community, exhibiting greed and a lack of accountability. It's crucial that they take immediate action to improve their performance. If they cannot deliver meaningful results, it may be time to consider a change in leadership to ensure the community's needs are prioritized.
