I ordered a Battery for my HS 720G in early April.
Payed immediately via Paypal
Now it is the middle of May and still no Battery.
Last info is -> Maybe in two weeks. :-(
Just imagine ordering a spare...
Absolutely horrible experience !

With me being a beginner with a drone, I cannot comment on how well their product performs, but I can state facts about their customer service and warranty which I have had experience with. While trying to fly my drone,( which was a gift) the drone developed some kind of an issue and crashed. I contacted customer service and explained what happened and they sent me a complete new drone, which I would have been happy to have just received the necessary parts to get it flying again. I have only good things to say about their customer service. As I become more experienced and look to upgrade to the next level you can rest assured I will be going with Holy Stone,

Horrible! My third day, and I flew it around for 20 seconds got it a bit closer to the ground, an then my HS700E drone just flipped over and started grinding itself on the floor. Now it looks completely scratched up and I'm not even sure it flies!

Bang for Buck an amazing piece of tech.
I (a complete amateur) read professional reviews of this thing and was nearly put off from buying.
For someone looking to buy a drone, fly it and take some footage it’s great.
Easy to set up, fly and use and has enough tech to keep you occupied. Whack your phone on the controller and away you go.
It takes a few attempts to get the video footage smooth like you see on much more expensive drones but can be done and then edited with any movie making app for phenomenal results.
Worth the cash.

Better than excellent sevice prompt informative and nothing negative at all. I will be staying with holystone. No company in my experience even comes close to the service provided.

I purchased a new, sealed HS720E from a seller on Ebay as a Christmas present to myself. I had never had the chance to open it up and fly it due to my work schedule until the second week of January. I had been watching various YouTube videos on unboxing and flying the drone up until then. I opened up the new drone packaging and familiarized myself with the included drone manual and all the contents in the case several times through the following week. I started flying it during the day, and became confident enough of doing night flights with it. After fling the drone for about 8 times, I decided to fly it again on a windless night, going through the usual protocols of calibration, getting a large number of satellites (usually between 15-19) per GPS on the remote & preceded to fly it into the still, night sky. When I couldn't see the landing light visibly, I preceded to use the RTH button to bring it back to me, but the remote started beeping quickly and after around 30 minutes of the remote beeping and the drone never returning back to me, I contacted Holy Stone customer service and to date I haven't got any satisfaction on my drone fly away situation from Holy Stone. It seems like they are ignoring my whole situation.

excellent service .My daughter gave me a drone as a retirement present ,one of the batteries did not click in place. I phoned the company, I got some body on the line right away .
i told him about my problem. he asked me to send a picture. So i did and he send me a new batteries right away. I never had a drone before but it is really nice to do. I really liked the beginners mode that makes it very easy to learn how to use it.

My initial response to opening the Box was wow this is a really nice drone. But going through the instructions and trying to set it up I realized I either didn't know what I was doing or there was something wrong with the drone. I've been flying airplanes and helicopters for 40 years such so I took it out to the club and had some of the guys that raced these drones try to set it up for me. Their initial response was that there wasn't enough trim to keep the drone from drifting forward in 0 wind. One of the guys said that The starboard front motor was not spinning up as fast as the other 3. After calling new egg where I purchased it they told me that they couldn't replace it that I could only get store credit. I tried to call Holy Stone To no Answer or return call. I would suggest spending a little more money on a better drone as this one seems to have some issues .i some people had great success with these and that's why I told my wife it's the 1 that I wanted.

Can someone suggest a fix? HS720E. Flew just fine the first few times. Now, I can get wifi to the phone, I can get it paired with the remote, but the fun stops when I get to 9.4 Initialization Detection. Just sits there flashing red lights. Can't get the compass calibration icon. The 3 rotations do nothing. Unlocking the motor does not happen, just a beep. Long press on the drone power button turns it off after 3 green light flashes.

Great Christmas present! It’s early days, but I’ve done a few short flights with the HS720 in my back garden. Seems easy to control once I got the hang of not over controlling, and taking things slowly. The battery seems to hold its charge reasonably well, and the drone performs relatively well in the breezy conditions we’ve had recently. Looking forward to installing a memory card (not included with the drone) so I can start recording footage of my efforts.

The customer service people were friendly, informed and actually helpful. One of the two batteries that came with the drone wouldn't charge, they sent me a new one in three days. I have yet to figure out how to send the defective one back to them. In an age where customer support entails being referred to the "community" getting to speak to a real person without being on hold for an age was a real treat. I highly recommend them.

Holy Stone makes easy to learn and use beginner and intermediate low cost drones. Customer service is also very good, Highly recommended for first time drone pilots!

Holy Stone has amazing customer support. I bought a drone and it arrived with a damaged battery from shipping I'm guessing. They sent a new battery out asap. I was also having issues with the WIFI not working on the drone. While they were unable to get it working, they did offer to exchange it for me. The customer service people are amazing, and the response time is super-fast. More companies need to take note of their customer service. A+ Thank you

I had a total of 26 flights that were fantastic no complaints. 27th flight out of the clear blue sky hs720 took a 300ft free fall with no explaining. It's all on video as I was recording. Needless to say I'm out $250 that I will not put in this company again.

Used hs 440,now on hs175 d and looking forward to get better drone.They all fantastic and so easy to use.

Bought one for my husband. The controller stopped working and he can no longer fly the drone, which is a shame because he really liked it.
We have both attempted to contact the customer services but no reply to our emails.

I cannot fault the drone itself but it's early days!!
My gripe is with Customer Services. Although polite they are seriously incompetent.
The user manual states the Statement of Compliance can be obtained from their site and gives the address. Unfortunately 'Access is Forbidden', so I PM'd them on Facebook requesting they send me the statement.
Now, this is where the fun starts -
They reply asking me to send them 'a copy of the contents'. What does that even mean!
'What part of the user manual where it says Certificate of Compliance. Can I see it?'
So I take a photo of the page in the manual (not easy holding a tiny manual with one hand and trying to photo the page clearly with the other hand!) and send it to them giving the page number too.
After a few minutes they reply with a spiel of how to register the drone with the FAA.
Again, I respond stressing I want the Statement of Compliance, and NOT instructions on how to register the drone. I even direct them to where it is stated on the page in the photo.

Well, quelle surprise! No response!

Update - Holy Stone replied with a copy of the Certificate of Compliance, so all is good.

One thing that bothers me though is the drone is the very short warranty period, only activated by Holy Stone if the drone is bought from Amazon.

Well I have to back up on this review. Upon my first test flight everything worked great without the use of any of the GPS or automatic flight plans. So here is what happened. I started out by conducting the preflight checklist and performing the synchronization of the drone. I connected my phone to both the app and the Wi-Fi. I setup a little landing pad and set up the drone for take off. I hit the takeoff button the drone raised about 4 feet and hovered. I brought it back down for a landing, opened up the phone holder and installed my phone. Checked the camera operation and then started a new flight. I pressed the take off button and ran the drone through a few maneuvers just checking operation and control. All seemed great, so I brought the drone back in for a landing. After figuring out a flight plan best suited for the pictures and video I wanted I began my flight. The first thing I did check the number of GPS signals I had (18). I chose the circle around automatic flight which started out well, and then the drone just took off side ways. I had zero control of the drone at this time. Since the camera was still working I was able to locate the drone. After looking over the drone for damages and cleaning it up I set up for another test run paying close attention to the number of GPS again (18). I hit the takeoff button and immediately the drone took off side ways. Again I go and retrieve the drone clean up up check for damages. This time I shut down the drone, turning everything off and then start all over with the set up process. Again I place the drone on the launch pad checked the GPS still (18). I hit the take off button and yet again the drone takes off sideways uncontrollable. I cleaned up the drone packed it back up and reached out to Holy Stone after waiting a week I still have not heard for them. I decided to change my review and I am going to return the done. I guess it’s time to start looking again.

I am very pleased with this drone. Being the first drone of ever operated this was a great choice. Within ten minutes of opening my package I was setup and flying. I do have to admit the batteries did need to charge overnight before I began the setup. This drone has a GPS that will help with a flight outdoors but I wanted it for pictures and videos inside my projects. So my first flight was without the use of GPS and completely perfect. I would suggest this drone to all who are looking or thinking about getting one.

It's crap losing gps out off my control crashed to the ground and there customers service crap to keep get ignored

Exactly as described ? No MUCH better than described !!
So easy to fly. I bought this as a replacement for my las drone which I lost. This drone with its GPS system gives me more confirdence to fly and the return home button is a godsend. The picture was so much clearer than I imagined it would be.
Take off is super easy and after a tiny bit of trimming hovers beautifully
Would give 10 stars. Highly reccommened
