Severe Hair Damage and No Accountability-Hair Day Salon - Victoria Park (Hawaiian’s Park Centre)
My experience at Day Hair Salon in Victoria Park, now located inside Hawaiian’s Park Centre, resulted in a chemical cut — a level of damage where a significant portion of my hair broke off due to improper handling and product use. The distress this caused was overwhelming, and I eventually needed psychological support to cope with the impact.
To repair the damage, I had to seek help from a specialist and undergo an intensive restoration process costing over $8,000 so far.
The salon offered no meaningful assistance afterward. I was given ineffective products and vague messages that led nowhere. There was no responsibility taken and no genuine effort to resolve the situation.
I’m sharing this so others can make informed decisions. This has been one of the most traumatic and costly experiences I’ve ever had with a service provider.
