Better than expected

I viewed a number of options for accommodation before booking and finally chose one that offered the location and the facility (parking etc) that I needed. The web pictures showed a very "up market" interior and I though "I wonder when those were taken" and as far as the fittings well "yeah yeah yeah read it all before". Upon arrival "Err this is exactly what the pictures showed and more!"
If I am staying in Harrogate area again I know who I will be using.

Somewhere to come back to.

This is one place I would recommend you try. We stayed there for two nights last November, and it helped to make for a very enjoyable and comfortable winter break. It was easy to find with ample car parking, which in some places can be a problem. Once inside we found everything we needed, it was clean and well fitted out to a high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to you or anybody else for that matter. We will certainly contact the company in the future, no matter where we are visiting, in the hope that they have some accommodation available in the area.

Wonderful flat, dreadful customer service.

We stayed in the flat for 2 nights and the flat was wonderful. Well equipped, wonderful furniture and fittings. The phone number they sent us by email was for an ex employee, we found out when we phoned as we couldn't locate the key deposit box and had to phone.
We are still waiting for our deposit, no response from the email.

Not enough time to see all we wanted

We travelled up to Harrogate for the stitch & sew show booked the cottage for three nights thought that would be a nice short break, we were with my cousin & his wife the two men went their way and Jane & I went to the show had a good day but on finishing we both said we wish we had booked two days for the show, we went to York for a day then Harrogate for another day, before we could turn round we were packing up and on our return journey.
The cottage was cosy comfortable and had all we needed, plenty of room it was warm and after a day out lovely to come home to.
Next year we have promised ourselves at least a week, there is so much we didn't get around to and the cottage was easy to get to and in the centre of where we wanted to be.

Brillaint base for the town and exploring the area

The apartment met our expectations and was extremely comfortable. The dog also was happy because he could be exercised very near by. We loved the fact that we could be down in the town very quickly and yet it was utterly quiet at night. The owners were very unobstrusive yet very interested and helpful.

We'd love to come back and enjoy more of Harrogate and round abouts.

Stayed at various places run by Harrogate Holidays and never had a problem.

If you are staying in Harrogate and want self catering, then booking a property through Harrogate Holiday Cottages, is the best thing to do. They have lots of different types and sizes of properties in Harrogate and surrounding areas, so you won't have any problem finding something ideal for your needs.
All the ones I, and my family have stayed at, have been excellent, always clean with usually bedding, towels and toiletries included.
I would definitely say its the starting point for looking for holiday, work or other reasons for visits to Yorkshire.
The web site is easy to follow and they always get back to you quickly if you have any queries.

Fantastic cottages with equally fantastic hosts!

We stayed at the beautiful Dray Cottage for a weekend this December and were delighted with the facilities and decor of the homely, but spacious accommodation. The owners; Tony & Lori (and their wonderful Red Setters!) were the perfect hosts - welcoming, helpful and informative! The town of Knaresborough is literally on the door step, making the cottages the perfect base to explore the quaint market town and all of it's fabulous little shops and stalls.

Would return without hesitation!

Spectacular apartment with a minimalistic quality that works!!!

Fantastic apartment, spacious and luxurious, fantastic finishing touches, such as wonderful beds, amazing light fittings and beautiful wedgwood china, having said that we could have done with some larger cups or mugs in the set for morning tea! There was only one bin in the apartment (in the kitchen) and its a big place!! The bathrooms could have done with a small bin in each one, and please, please, please put some proper blinds or curtains up at the bedroom windows. My bedroom faced the Waitrose supermarket car park and I was very conscious that people could see in!! On the whole this apartment is a truly luxurious experience, the few small issues I have noted did not in anyway spoil what was a fantastic stay in an amazing apartment. A big thank you to Nick who was extremely welcoming and helpful, and thank you for a brilliant weekend stay!!! We would love to come back.........SOON!!!

Perfect location, excellent accommodation and thoughtful extras.

We were made very welcome at Buckden Pike and did appreciate the thought and care which had gone into ensuring that this luxury penthouse apartment more than met expectations. The location was ideal for exploring Harrogate, York, Ripon etc. As we had chosen to go in November it was very nice to return to such comfort in the evenings. Worth a visit in the summer to explore more of the Dales. No hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone wishing to holiday in that area.

Excellent service and value for money with a great property too!

Holiday was easy to book - we used this website because a friend has her property with them and recommended it. The instructions for finding the key and cottage were clear and timely. The cottage itself was lovely. Brilliant view, enough room for all the children, very clean. Lovely extras such as children's books and a few dvds. Nice touch of bread, milk and biscuits left for our arrival. The owner introduced herself and chatted when she saw me outside, but was not intrusive in any way. Great base for visiting all our friends and relatives in the area with the added bonus of cows, sheep and rolling hills out of the window. We would definately recommend both the website and the cottage and will not hesitate to use it again.

Nice accommodation with great town centre location

Thanks, we very much enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The basement worked out fine for us, our youngest boy stayed down there. But as the basement is a bit cut off from the rest of the house, it wouldn't work for everyone. Lovely house, great location, professional transaction and good value for money.
Thank you!

fabulous property - excellent location

We stayed at Daisy House, Harrogate for three nights during half term week in October. Wish we could have stayed longer - the property was beautifully decorated, clean and extremely well equipped. The property is situated right opposite the Harrogate International Centre and is perfect for all the lovely shops, restaurants and attraction of the town. The two bedrooms are large and beautifully furnished - beds are large and extremely comfortable. Both bathrooms are sparkly clean and well fitted. The gym in the basement was an added bonus!
Booking was straightforward and we would highly recommend this property and the booking agent. Lovely - can't wait to go back.

Lovley location

There were a dozen fresh farm eggs awaiting us on our arrival and a general homely air, but the cottage could do with a bit of tlc. We has a plumbing problem that my husband ended up fixing, a curtain rail hanging down and a chair that was broken - and only 4 mugs for 7 of us! I appreciate it is nearly the end of the season, but although apologetic about the problems nothing was done!
