I am extremely disappointed with my experience ordering from Harrods online.
I purchased a gift for a friend who is due to leave the hospital soon. I paid in full and provided my complete address and contact details clearly to ensure there would be no delivery issues. Before delivery, I even contacted DPD and specifically requested that the driver call me before arriving so that the parcel would not be misplaced.
Despite taking these precautions, the DPD driver delivered my parcel to a completely different location, far from my address, and never attempted to contact me. The parcel was handed to an unknown individual who was not the intended recipient.
I immediately contacted both DPD and Harrods to report the issue. Rather than offering a prompt solution, I was informed that I would have to wait for an investigation before a refund or replacement could be considered. While I understand that procedures must be followed, this leaves me without the item I paid for and, more importantly, means my friend may leave the hospital without receiving the gift I carefully ordered for them.
This has been a deeply upsetting and frustrating experience. Customers who pay premium prices expect their orders to be delivered to the correct address, basic verification to be carried out before a parcel is handed over, and timely support when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, none of those expectations were met in my case.
Harrods should take greater responsibility for the delivery services it uses and ensure that customers are not left bearing the consequences of serious delivery failures. I hope this review encourages improvements so that other customers do not have to go through a similar experience.

Bought a pink teddy bear bag charm at Harrods in Terminal 3 Heathrow and after having it on my bag for less than two weeks one of the legs came off. Frustratingly wasn't given a receipt by the store and therefore unable to do anything about it but really disappointing as poor quality product that I would not associate with Harrods and will certainly put me off buying another bag charm from them.

Ordered an item, allegedly delivered to my neighbour “Emma” at number 32 although she was at work and not the name the driver said he left it with. No sign of parcel and when I asked my neighbour she advised that she was not at home, therefore parcel wasn’t delivered to her. Contacted Harrods customer services, who advised they would look into this, eventually came back to tell me it had been delivered to the said neighbour. Advised customer service it hadn’t as she was not at home. Harrods looking into it, but still heard nothing. Frustrated to say the least as I asked for the parcel to be deliver to my daughter 4 doors away who was in.

Natalie was very thorough and talked me through all skin care products to suit my skin and to provide a glow for my up coming wedding. Natalie made me feel a million dollars by the time I left store and successfully helped me source my make up for the wedding.

Tiffany who worked in the Signature/Lower Ground Gifts was very efficient. She was only to happy to help. She checked the price, opened the product very carefully, so we could look. Tiffany then re sealed it, and served us.

I cant praise Natalia from the Ex Nihilo counter highly enough. Her infectious enthusiasm on all niche perfumes including Ex Nihilo made my day. I usually purchase my niche fragrances off discounters but on this occasion, I had to make an exception and purchased Speed Legends and Blue Talisman. If you're ever in Chester, please do say hi and grab yourself a bottle of Ex Nihilo!

Where to start, when people say everything happens for a reason. There was a clear reason why I meet Yana (within the Dior section) 8 months ago. Every shopping trip is met with such a high level of customer service (you genuinely feel like royalty!). She is always so patience, helps me try everything before purchasing and is amazing at helping me say no to something if it not really for me. (Which is something not a lot of places do anymore, others would still try to upsell). Yana and the team are extremely friendly and they are genuinely the only Dior department I feel confident walking out off and most definitely the only one I would shop at.
Thank you girls for helping me every trip, they don’t just feel like sales assistant they feel like friends. I will always recommend Yana (defo my fav) and her team to anyone needing help, advice or a good laugh!

Poor online purchase experience and service. The item came in a cardboard box without any protection. You can’t tell if it was new or if it had been touched by many people? Not the kind of service you expect from such a prestigious brand.

Made an online order a week ago and it’s still not dispatched.
I’ve called customer services 4 day in a row for an update and there’s no information, just “we’re sorry” & “we understand”.
Now I’ve requested a refund because they’re not fulfilling their service and I’m told it’s not possible, the order needs to be fully processed before it can be returned or cancelled.
Harrods are an apparently “world renowned” department store! Temu offers better service and updates than these scammers.
Incredibly poor and will not spend my money there again.
