Efficient and courteous.

The engineers arrived on time and worked efficiently to service our boiler. They left no mess.

Gasco - Great local Company

Great local Company who take all of the hassle out of the care and maintenance of our bolier and heating system. The engineers are always helpful and friendly, taking the time to explain what they are doing.
Good support from the admin team who always ensure calls are answered or returned.

A decent company to deal with.

We have the annual service plan. The services are carried out promptly, tidily, and seem thorough to me as a layman. Very occasionally an issue may arise during the year and they are easy to get hold of and deal with it promptly enough. We like dealing with this local company.

Excellent GasCo Edinburgh

My experience with Gasco (Edinburgh) has been excellent. Scott Ewen, who works with Jamie, Gasco’s boss, came to help us with multiple boiler problems. He was extraordinarily helpful, talking us through the problems, and patiently advised us how the problems could be resolved. We would highly recommend Gasco to anyone. They are by far the best heating engineer/plumbing service I have encountered. I intend to spread the word!

Had a boiler and still working great 2 years on

I had a boiler installed by Gasco 2 years ago so can now give a good review on the quality of the installation and the follow up.

The quote was the cheapest I had from a group of local and national providers, it was about half of what British Gas wanted for a simple combi boiler install and tank removal.

The installation was done cleanly and efficiently, they even bricked up the wall where the old flue left the house and took the old tanks away for me with no issues.

The boiler itself was a Worcester Bosch boiler and apart from one failed sensor which was dealt with quickly by Gasco and WB directly it has been very good.

It had its second service this morning from Gasco. A service which is quick, I get a note from them to remind me it needs doing and it maintains my warranty. The quality of the installation shows by how quickly the services are carried out and the lack of issues seen with the boiler even after 2 years of operation and the addition of extra load on to the system with new radiators and showers.

Overall very happy with the service provided by Gasco and would not hesitate to recommend them.

It doesn't get any better than this.

Last Thursday morning my boiler broke down. I called Gasco who I have a service contract with. They said they could send someone between 1pm and 5pm same day. He showed up just before 5 by which time the house was freezing. He quickly identified the problem being a broken big metal fan. Said he would need to order a replacement. The new one arrived Friday morning, the engineer came Friday afternoon and installed the replacement, about 1 hour. Now that is what you call service, British Style.

Annual Boiler Service today by Mike , punctual, polite and respectful as ever, good to have Engineers you have dealt with before and trust.Happily no problems and we will be able to keep warm this winter if we can afford the Gas !!!!!

First Class professionals..........After a few other companies failed to…

After a few other companies failed to impress I was fortunate to call Gasco Bridgnorth. Ian arrived promptly for the appointment and proceeded to assess the job of relocating a new boiler efficiently and confidently. The engineers arrived to carry out the work on time and completed the job in the two and a half days allocated with no fuss. The level of expertise and professionalism was outstanding and I would heartily recommend Gasco for a first class service.

A brilliant Local Firm!

I could not disagree with the last review more!! Gasco have been servicing both my boiler and my parents boiler for over 15 years. They have always been very polite and professional. Even though my boiler is pretty ancient, they have always done their best to fix it which they managed to do again last week when it went on the blink! A big thank you to everyone at Gasco!

Incredibly disappointed I have used…

Incredibly disappointed I have used Gasco for the last 4 years and received prompt efficient service for all gas saftey work and minor work...that was up until the summer when I needed a diverter valve replacement which I instructed the engineer who attended.instead of listening to me he flooded my kitchen twice ,left me without hot water ( which I had before he attended ) and didn't have a clue. He returned several times throughout the day but still didn't have a clue and he informed me that my boiler was too old (7years) and his "gaffer advised the company should not work on it as it was old. Which suprised me as they has been servicing it for that last four years without mentioning this . He returned a few days later with a colleague who did know what he was doing and managed to get the water and heating working and told me that guess what? I needed a diverter valve . I was advised not to spend any more money on the boiler as I needed a new one and should I want one they could provide me with a quote. A few weeks later the diverter valve went again I phoned Gasco and was advised that I needed a new boiler and until then they couldn't work on my Combi again but would of course be able to if I had a new one fitted . Not having sufficient funds to have a new boiler I phoned around and got the job done that week from a fantastic engineer who clearly advised that the boiler was fine and easily fixed . I am so disappointed with Gasco not only did they send an engineer who had no clue what he was doing but then gave the impression that my boiler was beyond repairand and refused all furtherwork unless a new one was fitted . Needless to say I will never use or recommend then ever again and question their ethics .
