Everything about the cruise was amazing. The service, cleanliness, accommodation, staff & organisation was brilliant. Never been on a cruise before & it didn’t disappoint. The food was excellent & I was especially impressed with the gluten free options. All in all very impressed with the whole experience. Thank you.

Great time on the ‘Bolette’ Lots to do on board and lovely on shore trips. The food was amazing and all the workers on board were pleasant and very respectful.

We had a lovely time cruising the Norwegian Fjords on board Borealis.
We have sailed with Fred Olsen several times on Balmoral and this was our first time on Borealis. We appreciated the roomier feel of the slightly larger ship and we were rarely stuck to find seating in the lounges and bars although some evenings we found the Observatory was difficulty to find a seat.
In the main dining restaurant we were served good food by caring and attentive staff and when we ventured to the buffet we were helped to find a seat in this busy place by your staff, where, again, the food on offer was very good with a wide range of choice.
The biggest change for our Fred Olsen experience was the entertainment in the Neptune Lounge. Way up on our previous experiences and worthy of London's West End venues.
As always the friendly, helpful Fred Olsen staff made our holiday feel relaxed and enjoyable.

Overall the cruise was good.
The crew were brilliant We loved the brass band and the string trio.
The staff at desk services were excellent, Always eager to help.
We did encounter a couple of small problems but these were sorted out swiftly.

Everything was so organised all the staff were wonderful & couldn’t do enough for u always smiling & happy. The food was very good whether u used the buffet or went to the main dining room. There was good entertainment available if u wanted it as my friends & I did go to the shows on board. Your cabins were cleaned & beds made up every day. Everybody on board was so friendly & we did make new friends on the cruise. I would recommend Fred Olso to anybody looking for a great relaxing holiday on board.

Our cruise was made special by the amazingly attentive service, 5 star menus, attention to the smallest detail, happy atmosphere and the respect and care shown to every passenger irrespective of age and mobility.
You only slipped a star for the cost of your excursions compared to booking onshore.

My second Fred. Olsen cruise was exceptional from start to finish. The crew were incredible — professional, friendly, and working together with the ease and warmth of a true family. Perfect weather made the itinerary even more enjoyable, with the 360‑degree turn at Fingal’s Cave providing a breathtaking highlight.

Performing with the onboard Brass Band was a special experience, made even better by passengers stopping me afterwards to share how much they enjoyed the concerts. Fred. Olsen once again delivered a perfectly run, deeply memorable cruise.

All staff on board are very courteous. Everything has run very smoothly

It was all great, apart from the excursions in both cases there just wasn’t enough time to get the maximum output for the time effort & money spent. Really needs looking at.. Sri our head waiter was really helpful & gave excellent customer service.
