7 days have passed and still no response from customer support. I am unable to verify my account as the email is not coming through. Ethan from customer support answered my support ticket asking for information which I provided straight away. It has now been 7 days without any follow-up. Issue unresolved and customer support is silent. Completely unhelpful and with kind of delay between messages with support it is not a viable option freelancers.

Terrible dishonest company never use them they don't vet their freelancers. They use freelancers from all over the world who do not know how to write English (UK) Americanised my CV! The freelancers and Fiverr.com don't know the difference between English and American spelling and language plus you have to pay in dollars. The freelancer assigned to me never made the changes and I had to spend another 2 hours correcting grammar and spelling! She was meant to do my LinkedIn profile, she erased my beautiful profile and blocked me! She put on the Fiverr.com platform that the job was completed! On top of that I had over £2,000 taken out of my bank account! I have tried to contact Fiverr.com customer service and they blocked my email address, I have reported Fiverr.com to the U.K. Fraud and Cyber crime Office! Fiverr.com marketing principles are dishonest they use affiliate marketing, where someone contacted me on LinkedIn writing to me she is a recruiter and directing me to Fiverr.com to get my CV and LinkedIn profile polished! She works for Fiverr.com and got a commission from them as she directed me to Fiverr.com

I had the order, which was not complete, we agreed with the freelancer upon a refund, but very soon the freelancer denied sending the refund (if it's not stealing, explain to me how to call it).

The free lancer was a joke. He did the same thing I just did in free apps to fix my blurry pictures but then lied and said nothing more to do with faces. I told him he needs an app that does face swapping, which first said he would do but then didnt. They approved the project without my consent. I cant find an order number to request a refund and even that is impossible to find. Apparently they cant find the order any other way. Thank God it was only 10 bucks that I lost.

Fiverr's dispute system protects buyers, not sellers
I've been a Fiverr seller for 2 years with a 5.0 rating and 36 five-star reviews. A buyer recently received completed label designs, printed them independently without confirming dimensions, then requested 12 additional size variations as a "revision" — and when I charged separately for the out-of-scope work, they cancelled and received everything for free.
I submitted detailed evidence including message history showing the client's written satisfaction, the $80 additional order they accepted, and proof that I explicitly asked them to confirm dimensions before printing. Fiverr support changed their cancellation justification twice across multiple responses, ultimately closing the case with generic template replies.
The cancellation also triggered an algorithmic penalty that suppressed my gig visibility and eliminated new orders entirely — with no recourse offered.
The work was real. The files were delivered. The client kept everything.
If you're a seller considering Fiverr, be aware that their dispute process offers very limited protection regardless of the evidence you provide.

I have been a seller on Fiverr with an active account and $280 in cleared earnings that I cannot withdraw. My support ticket #14541920 was submitted 3 days ago and I have received zero response despite their 72 hour promise. My withdrawals are disabled with no proper notification ever sent to me about any restriction. I have worked hard for these earnings and Fiverr is blocking me from accessing my own money with no explanation or support response. If I was able to withdraw my earnings I would give Fiverr a 5 star review because I enjoyed working on the platform. Ticket number: #14541920, I expect a response within 24 hours or I will be escalating this further.
Stay away from this website as a freelancer!
I was a 5-star seller with years of history on the platform, and my account was banned by an automated system for allegedly missing the DAC7 form. However, the form was not even missing - I had already submitted it a year ago when I previously faced the same issue caused by the automated system.
This time I was given 60 days to complete the form while I was on vacation and not actively checking my work emails. When I returned, my account had been permanently banned, with no way to contact support, as submitting a ticket requires logging in, and they do not respond to emails. This has been the worst freelance platform experience for me, especially as it has happened for the second time.
My only regret is losing all my positive reviews and history, which I could have used as part of my portfolio. I lost years of bending over backwards for clients to get the rating I had.
I don't recommend selling services on this platform.

Worst experience ever! My first order was a make email marketing design. The agent reviews were great, but the job was absolutely unprofessional and I never used it - just wasted 300$.
The second order was with a tax filler. He made a huge mistake in his order, and I told him to fix it. Instead of doing the job right, he started arguing with me that everything is ok. I hired a professional tax filler consultation from UpWork, and he confirmed that the form was filled out incorrectly.
So now I've lost 218$ and 150$ for another tax filler consultation.

Automated system bans new buyers for sending a standard brief
I opened an account to hire a logo designer. My first message included a placeholder domain for context and a clear disclaimer that we make entertainment games, not gambling. Fiverr's automated system instantly issued a permanent suspension.
They refuse to tell me exactly which rule I breached. I have thoroughly checked their Terms of Service and Community Standards, and I have not violated a single one. Their system completely stripped the context of the message and auto-banned a legitimate corporate buyer trying to spend money.
The designer is actively trying to reply to me, but Fiverr has locked me out. A frustrating and broken onboarding experience.
I’d recommend avoiding the platform as it’s administered by bots and/or people who think like bots.

I had a very disappointing experience with Fiverr support regarding a phone verification issue. Every response from support took around 5+ days, making the process extremely frustrating, and even after multiple follow-ups there was still no proper solution provided. What concerns me most is how a personal phone number can apparently get linked to another account without stronger verification checks. Instead of offering a faster verification method, support continued asking for old email addresses while the issue remained unresolved. For a platform as large as Fiverr, I expected much better customer support and account security handling.

My account "inverty" was permanently suspended, and the mandatory 90-day waiting period ended on April 30, 2026. Exactly 118 days have passed since the hold started on January 30, 2026. However, I never received the automated withdrawal link. I have been trying to contact Fiverr support for several days, but they are completely ignoring my emails. I am currently in Bangkok, Thailand (a fully supported region), so there are no compliance or territorial barriers. Fiverr is unlawfully withholding my earned money. I demand immediate manual assistance to release my funds to my PayPal
No support for sellers
Fiverr does not adequately protect its service providers in dispute situations. I experienced a case where a client clearly acted in bad faith, and despite providing evidence and reporting the issue, no meaningful action was taken.
The responses from support were generic and did not reflect a proper review of the full conversation or context. As a result, I felt unsupported as a seller on the platform.
I have escalated the matter to fraud-related channels, as the situation was not properly addressed.
Best Customer Service Ever
Why I'm leaving this review is for one reason: Customer service.
Although its a bit of a chore to find where to offer overall feedback with the Fiverr platform, once you start, they lead you through it very thoroughly and anonymously.
I've never felt like my opinion mattered more with any other company, ever.
I've used a lot of "freelancer" platforms and Fiverr is the best by far and after this experience I won't even consider using another.

My experience with Fiverr has been one of the worst I’ve ever had with an online platform.
I purchased a service through PayPal with a delivery date scheduled for April 12th. The service was never delivered within the agreed timeframe. Despite this, I remained patient and waited until May 17th before opening a dispute through PayPal.
That’s when the real problem started. PayPal informed me that Fiverr had confirmed the service was successfully delivered. The issue is that I have screenshots, conversations, and evidence clearly proving the exact opposite: the service had been canceled and was never completed.
After providing all the proof to PayPal, I was told to contact Fiverr directly. When contacting Fiverr, they simply pushed the responsibility back onto PayPal. In the end, nobody takes responsibility and the customer is left completely unsupported.
Honestly, this has been the worst customer service experience I have ever dealt with. Poor communication, lack of transparency, and absolutely no real protection for paying customers.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Fiverr to anyone.
