Horrific. Huge waste of time and money. Been trying to get in touch with customer service for months only to be ghosted and completely ignored. Shame on Fiverr, hefty commission rate and offering ZERO security for buyers and sellers alike.

As if having a sea of spam from scammers everyday (which by the way affects your response rate) isn't enough of a deterrent, Fiverr can't even hire real human beings to assist. As a user you are either spending hard earned money or working - only to face all kinds of issues such as being scammed of payment in the end, and no help is available.

I have been a loyal customer 7 years, my concern was ignored with another Spotify seller who delivers fake work , all my streams were removed. I sent all the evidence with screen shot with the seller's delivery, still ignored, i explained it all to make it easy to know, this platform entertain corrupt sellers and still let them use the platform and now it's the customers who suffers.

The service fees have increased significantly, making small orders much less cost-effective. To make matters worse, their custr support was slow to respond when an order glitched, and I mostly received generic template replies. The interface itself is okay, but the high platform costs and unhelpful support system make it hard to justify using it regularly.

The search function works well, but the platform fees on both sides are getting quite steep. I also noticed a lot of automated bot messages hitting my inbox lately, which gets tiring to clear out. It is a functional marketplace, but the rising costs make me look elsewhere occasionally.

Do not use Fiverr. They use unprofessional freelancers who claim to be "graphic designers" but are untrained. They lie about their experience and that they are "fluent" in English, but they clearly are not. If you value your work, DO NOT use freelancers on Fiverr. They lie about where they live and their experience.

Very bad experience the guy was doing my job from Nigeria stole my personal information credit card and emails confidential and after I stop working with him because make lost a lot money never done the job then delate the job I paid to him the google merchant and I lost 4,000 US dollars and 4 months. Be very careful with that platform because are scammers too and stole the information .

Here's the deal: there are some extraordinary contractors on this site. It might take a little searching, but you can find really good people here. The problem is Fiverr has started some sort of ad buy system for contractors who can then be notified when you're searching for their type of skill set. When I'm searching and selecting my contractor: I am hit with a absolute borage of very aggressive emails from lots of other contractors. And it sounds like to me that the contractors on Fiverr are paying advertisement to Fiverr in order to get their emails posted on a clients thread >unsolicited<. This is a huge problem so much so I probably start switching over to UpWork. UPDATE: I am now receiving an unsolicited email from contractors every 10 minutes... and when I confront them they tell me they didn't reach out to me. So what this site is doing is It finds out what you're searching for and this starts inundating you with unsolicited email. What a horrible experience with a horrible site after this project is done I'm completely removing myself from Fiverr. What a bunch of idiots. UPDATE: I'm moving to "Freelancer" look at those glowing reviews...

I returned to Fiverr as a seller after many years, posted a new gig and got not a single customer message but did receive daily messages from scammer, spammer, etc.

It's a shame they allow these type of things to go on. I would probably ignore all the spam if i at least got some real messages as well but, that was not the case. Zero customer messages, all spam.

I hired a freelancer on Fiverr for a Domain Rating (DR) increase service. Although it was delivered late, the initial target metric was met. Because of this, and because Fiverr's automated system constantly pesters you to leave a review right after delivery, I left a 5-star rating.
A little over a month later, the entire DR increase I paid for completely plummeted, despite the seller's prior guarantee that there would be no major drops.
When I contacted Fiverr Support, their response was incredibly disappointing: they claimed they couldn't do anything to help because the 14-day window had passed and because I had previously left a 5-star review.
This is absolutely absurd. Fiverr is weaponizing my initial review against me. It’s the equivalent of buying an electronic device, leaving a positive review because it worked for the first few days, and then being told your warranty is void when it breaks a month later just because you reviewed it well.
Since when does a positive review revoke a consumer's right to complain about a defective or deceptive service? Fiverr's support fundamentally fails to protect buyers from temporary, low-quality services. Be very careful when buying on this platform!

I paid for a product that was to be delivered in 5 to 7 days, we are 34 days into this mess and Fiverr is refusing to communicate past the automated AI responses. The seller does NOT speak English and has no idea what I need, and this person is about to get $310 from me without ever completing a single thing we have been discussing for more than a month.
This site has become a SCAMMERS PARADISE.

Everybody take it further. This company is fraudulent.Never ever work with fiver I'm so fed up with them the first gig I had they cancelled I never receive my money and The working with them. in the past is always been quite good. My second gig we agreed to 12 pages illustration and the cover. After 3 weeks he gavé me one cover I thought I looked strange and it was full of Disney references nothing to do with my book. I gave it to my friend who told me it was AI generated picture and gave me the clues I went back to fiverr her that as I couldn't use it anyway for copyright I went PayPal which didn't help citizen advice who gave me a letter to fiver. I sent them they had a week to respond. Because they didn't I went to the bank who refunded me but I've had to give them all the evidence and still they've rejected that. And took the refund back. So I'm out of money and out of product. 😥

I'd gone through 7 times to remodify just my title of my services. Just a normal 'provide professional video editing with ai production workflow' and it's removed.
Beyond my comprehension of just a simple thing can be so strict. Not worth to be in this platform.

Thieves that ran away with my money when I asked them for a refund, poor customer service that pass the parcel to different workers that are totally inept at their jobs. don’t even bother using these crooks

Very good experience with Fiverr. It is easy to connect with talented freelances from around the world, and the platform makes hiring simple and efficient.

7 days have passed and still no response from customer support. I am unable to verify my account as the email is not coming through. Ethan from customer support answered my support ticket asking for information which I provided straight away. It has now been 7 days without any follow-up. Issue unresolved and customer support is silent. Completely unhelpful and with kind of delay between messages with support it is not a viable option freelancers.

Incessant requests for review, in spite of opting out of marketing emails. The product provided by the freelancer was good, but the format and system (not permitting direct contact or emails to the freelancer) reeks of mistrust and reflects poor emphasis on service.

Terrible dishonest company never use them they don't vet their freelancers. They use freelancers from all over the world who do not know how to write English (UK) Americanised my CV! The freelancers and Fiverr.com don't know the difference between English and American spelling and language plus you have to pay in dollars. The freelancer assigned to me never made the changes and I had to spend another 2 hours correcting grammar and spelling! She was meant to do my LinkedIn profile, she erased my beautiful profile and blocked me! She put on the Fiverr.com platform that the job was completed! On top of that I had over £2,000 taken out of my bank account! I have tried to contact Fiverr.com customer service and they blocked my email address, I have reported Fiverr.com to the U.K. Fraud and Cyber crime Office! Fiverr.com marketing principles are dishonest they use affiliate marketing, where someone contacted me on LinkedIn writing to me she is a recruiter and directing me to Fiverr.com to get my CV and LinkedIn profile polished! She works for Fiverr.com and got a commission from them as she directed me to Fiverr.com
Platform SCAM DO not have anything to do with this company. Fiverr.com is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NASDAQ) and made $438m this year!!! Fiverr.com has NOT refunded my $143 for a service that was terrible! Plus bank charges to convert this into $ as I live in the UK and don't have a $ account! CEOs of Fiverr.com Michi Kaufman and Shai Wininger you run a dishonest company!!!

I have tried to contact Fiverr.com by telephone and it's a dead telephone number! I am also a journalist I will make sure that anyone I come in contact with will know that Fiverr.com are a scam company!

Fiverr is so poor that they cover freelancers who steal money

I had the order, which was not complete, we agreed with the freelancer upon a refund, but very soon the freelancer denied sending the refund (if it's not stealing, explain to me how to call it).

Now, the customer service of Fiverr doesn't even answer my messages.

The free lancer was a joke. He did the same thing I just did in free apps to fix my blurry pictures but then lied and said nothing more to do with faces. I told him he needs an app that does face swapping, which first said he would do but then didnt. They approved the project without my consent. I cant find an order number to request a refund and even that is impossible to find. Apparently they cant find the order any other way. Thank God it was only 10 bucks that I lost.

Fiverr is 100% best Experience for me
I wanted a series of project done, My app tested, My Business registered and My social media brand grown, it was a steady experience, and I learn a step by step guide, the Seller @peggy_alexx was so detailed in his approach and outstanding in result. App approved, Business registered and social media is growing
