I had a overall good experience, the staff was friendly and everything went smoothly. The only 2 issues I had were that, once I arrived at the desk, nobody was there, and I had to call and wait for someone to arrive. Moreover, on the contract was stated that the fuel policy was "Full to full", instead I had the bring back the car with the same amount of petrol that they left me.

Honestly, I have zero regrets about choosing Car Express. We had originally booked a Citroën C3 Aircross, but were offered a Mazda CX-30 2.5 AWD as an alternative and honestly, it turned out to be an amazing upgrade!

We were greeted by a friendly young man who took the time to explain everything clearly and showed us all the details of the car. After that, we drove this Mazda all across Armenia, and it never let us down. The car was reliable, comfortable, and handled every road perfectly, a real joy to drive.

When it was time to return the car, the process took just a couple of minutes. The car wasn’t very dirty, so they kindly allowed us to skip the wash, which was a nice touch.

Overall, Car Express provided excellent service, a fantastic car, and made the whole rental process smooth and easy. Highly recommended!

We had a very positive experience with this car rental. The staff was extremely polite and the check-in and check-out were quick and straightforward.
The car was clean, well-maintained, and performed perfectly throughout the trip. Fair prices and no hidden costs. I would definitely recommend their services if you are visiting Armenia!

Very rude and unprofessional in responding to customers , they have no idea how to deal with customers and they talk as if they own lambos . I haven't rent a car from them when i saw this behavior. They should think twice before opening a business.

I will break down everything that went wrong during our rental, it is long but needed:

1- We arrived at the airport, had the reservation for 9:30pm. They texted us on whastapp that the car was not ready yet, and we could either walk to their agency (outside the airport) or they could bring it to us. We explained we did not have wifi, we asked to not send us voice messages because they would not download, but they kept sending them anyway. It was nighttime, cold, and we had heavy luggage so we asked for them to pick us up. They came way later than the reservation time, they arrived after 9:45pm.

2- The "agency" is a very creepy and dark office in the middle of a parking lot where they wash the cars. We had to wait quite a long time for them to finish another rental, and once they started with ours, the problems began.
We had made the reservation trough their website, which automatically sends an email with the details, price breakdown and total price. Turns out the total price the company had calculated was wrong, and they wanted us to pay over 100usd more than what the email said. We obviously explained that it was not fair, and if their system made a mistake, that was not our fault. The guy at the desk ASHTON tried to help us, and called the manager GRIGOR. When we tried to talk to him, he was disrespectful, rude, and a total disaster. He yelled at us, did not hear us or let us speak. He kept saying the only options were: A. we paid the new price, or B. we cancelled the rental. It was 11pm on a tuesday, and the rental allowed us to cross the border to Georgia and return it there, therefore, it was not realistic for us to cancel the rental and find a new one. They would not have time to do the permit to let us cross to Georgia anyway.
GRIGOR insinuated we had "faked" the email, which we had printed out, and asked for us to forward him the email. We looked for it on our laptop and forwarded it, but he would still not recognize the company's mistake.
After arguing and waiting in the small office for about 45 minutes, we asked ASHTON what was going on. He tried to help, he bought us a coffee and said he did not think they would come up with a solution. We ended up accepting the new price, and negotiating with ASHTON that the insurance for the windshield and crystals would be free. ASHTON said he would do that, and if the managers did not accept it, he would cover it out of pocket. He also said that when we cross the border to Georgia, the georgian insurance would be paid in advanced bt GRIGOR.

3- The car was not in good conditions. It was scratched ALL OVER. They took videos of it, which is ridiculous given the amount of scratches it had. The engine light was turned on, supposedly because the last client had not filled it with the correct gas... the engine made a weird noise... it was not a good car.

4- They said we had to wash the car before returning it. Just ridiculous. Never heard of any serious agency asking that!!!!!

5- The day of the return, we had to meet up with another guy outside the Tblisi Airport (in Georgia). Again, no office inside the airport. He checked the car, and even asked to see the video that was taken when we picked it up. Again, just funny given the conditions the car was in. Then, he said we needed to pay for the Georgia insurance (which we were told GRIGOR would pay for). We obviously said no, and had to explain the situation and even talk on the phone to the manager in Georgia. Again, terrible customer service. They finally understood and at least we did not have to pay for it.

Our experience was TERRIBLE. This agency is horrible, with very poor organization and communication, cars in bad conditions, and some very bad employes (not Ashton).

I would NEVER recommend renting from them. It was a nightmare very stressful.

RENT FROM A SERIOUS COMPANY LIKE AVIS, BUDGET, HERTZ, ETC!!!!!!!

I had a great experience with the Express Car Rent Armenia. I have rented cars here for 4 times already. Managers are always nice, cars are clean and in a perfect working condition. This time I accidentaly damaged the car and everything was coverd by insurance without any questions.

I rented a Nissan Sentra 2020 from this company and it turned out to be the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. On the way to Georgia we discovered by ourselves that the brake pads were completely worn out – the car gave no warning light or signal at all. When we finally managed to check it at a repair shop, the mechanics told us that the brakes could have completely failed at any moment, which means our lives were literally at risk.

We lost 4 hours stuck in Vanadzor because no shop had the right parts, and later the car also showed an engine error while we were driving back to Armenia , adding even more stress to an already unsafe situation.

To make things worse, the company at first refused to offer any compensation. Only after I insisted did they finally return just 20€, which is ridiculous considering the danger and the wasted time.

This proves that the company does not maintain or properly check their cars before renting them out, and they also fail to take responsibility afterwards. Driving a car in this condition is not just inconvenient – it is dangerous and unacceptable. I strongly advise against renting from this company.

The process was easy. The owner was very nice and you can pick up the car in the city and drop it in the airport. Very convenient.

We are satisfied with the company. The process was smooth and without complications. We rented a Mazda CX30 and go around Armenia without problem (with respect to previous useing). What we agreed at the beginning was valid

Rented a car for the first time in principle and was very worried about the reliability of the company.
I was guided by reviews, prices and the ability to drive a vehicle with less than 2-3 years of experience
We booked a Nissan Versa (or similar), they upgraded us to a Nissan X-trail. We were very pleased with the use of the car
On site they showed everything, explained, answered questions. It is convenient that the employees speak excellent Russian

Very fast service! No paper work. Modern cars in good condition by a nice price. I prerented a Mazda cx-30 but later for me give bigger Hyundai santa-fe but with same price.

I rented a VW polo for a road trip through Armenia, but it wasn’t available at the time so I got Mazda 3 sedan and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The car was delivered on time and fully cleaned.

The car was like new, extremely comfortable, and equipped with advanced features like Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, lane keep assist etc.
