I love the application but have to move on

I love the application and have used it for more years than I can remember. Sure its buggy sometimes, but I just use it for document archiving and notes. I just got hit with a HUGE annual fee increase. Usually, you see some type of consideration given to long-term users. Not here. Moving on to a more cost-effective alternative.

Fits my purposes

Fits my purposes. When researching Evernote can be used to keep every detail together to a allow concise and worthwhile output. A great repository also for details and information to get back to when needed.

I can't wait for everyone who works here to draw unemployment.

You guys suck for adding a mandatory pay structure just to access notes that exceed a certain limit. I was forced to upgrade so that I could continue doing my job and not get locked out of all the notes that I have built for years. I hate your company, and I will be leaving you ASAP unless you fix the stupidly high cost problem for unlimited notes. I don't care about your reasoning for doing it. It's a shameless cash grab, and you will die as a company for doing it. May the race to the bottom be painful and harrowing for all the executives who have built their lives around this company. In 10 years' time, Evernote will be a footnote in the annals of failed internet companies. Can't wait to forget about you all. One more thing: For anyone lucky enough to read this before being swindled out of their money. Go to any of this company's competitors and use their services over this bloated piece of garbage. You'll thank me later!

Can't live without it now

I've been using Evernote for countless years and it's indispensable. It's the easiest tool to use on multiple devices.

I do a lot of research and advanced education in nutrition and the ability to format notes, include screenshots, photos, and more...and then easily search them to draw ideas together is outstanding.

I've been an Evernote user since 2010

I've been an Evernote user since 2010. It just keeps getting better. The app has been thoughtfully updated over the years, yet never strays from its roots as a straightforward note-taking app that syncs across all my devices. It's interface is clean and just gets out of my way so I can get more done.

I've been archiving my field research…

I've been archiving my field research on this platform for years, and the recent structural upgrades under Bending Spoons have actually streamlined my workflow. The new AI search features are a legitimate asset when I'm scanning through thousands of old focus group transcriptions in a windowless basement lab. To be fair, the mobile sync occasionally hangs if I'm uploading heavy data files on the subway Wi-Fi. But for keeping qualitative variables organized alongside a chaotic literature review, it gets the job done without corrupting my files.

Please, reduce the number of updates!

"Evernote" is a very good text managing program (structure, organizing, etc.). I've been using it since 2013 and don't want to move anywhere yet.
BUT! Since the company "Bending Spoons" bought "Evernote" using this app became less convenient and more expensive. A lot of constantly newly upcoming unnecessary features/commands that are popping up and interfere with simple text processing. Too much and too frequent updates. I want (as it was earlier) just log in the app and work, and not constantly discover endless new updates. And I don't want any pop-up commands to bother me. That's irritating. Seems like designers don't have much work to do that's why are constantly inventing something to prove their salaries, like: "Look, what a useless crap we came up with this month!" Omg, just leave me alone with my work and you do only what's really necessary, please.

Convenient tool for managing information

Convenient tool for managing the information and content you gather, either as a professional in a project or for your personal use. Microsoft OneNote is the most obvious contender, just to give you an idea.

I started using Evernote before it was purchased by Bending Spoons. At that time the software's functions for version control and synchronization were quite buggy. Today they work as a breeze.

No effective support unless you like ieffective bots

had. aproblem signig into account. Was forced to create new one. Only support was a bot online who was unhelful. I tried all items it sent and it did not work. I was promised a human person to help days later leaving me lock out of critical information. that never happned. If you like OVERPAYING for a company with NO EFFECTIVE SUPPORT. then buy it. If not, look elsewhere

Longtime user - glad to be a user

Evernote has been a valuable contributor to my daily means of organising mywork and my personal life and has been so for the past 15 years. It's recent conversion to AI for many of its features have actually improved the app's functionality -- that doesn't happen very often!

Stop AI...AUto....PLS... image Auto capture

1. I have been an Evernote user for more than 10 years. Here is what I have felt over the years.

2. I have tried several times to switch to other tools, but I stopped every time. The reason was simple: my data. I had no real choice but to stay.

3. Please focus on the core features.

* Stop adding unnecessary features. If Evernote is a note-taking app, please focus on being a good note-taking app.
* AI, image transcription, paragraph editing, and so on — these are not what I need.
* I started using Evernote because of the image capture feature, and even now I use that feature for about 90% of my work. But the automatic capture function is ruining everything.
* In the early versions, image capture worked well and produced high-resolution results. But in later versions, Evernote started adding AI-related features, and now images get cropped incorrectly, the resolution is terrible, and the app has become painfully slow.
This is honestly the worst image capture experience I have ever had.

4. Please make Evernote work like a real note-taking tool again by reducing it to its essential functions.

* Stop automatically changing paragraphs.
* Stop automatically formatting sections.
* Stop automatically adding numbering.
* The most frustrating thing is that Evernote changes paragraph numbering and formatting on its own. Please stop automatically converting characters like “-” or “>” into bullet points or paragraph symbols. Just leave my input exactly as I typed it. Please.
