Founded in 1977, we're a bicycle shop with a difference - a workers' cooperative whose members own a fair share of the business and receive an equal share of the profits. We have 6 shops across Scotland and North East England, and we sell top name electric bikes, road bikes, mountain bikes, folding bikes, parts, accessories and clothing for men, women and kids. We also offer repairs, bike and e-bike servicing by expert mechanics.

Byker Edinburgh cycles mechanics are 10/10. They have transformed my old specialized road bike. Customer service 10/10 as well- genuinely kind and helpful. Thank you
Ordered tyres and after the initial order confirmation I did not hear anything about delivery for over 10 days.
When I chased it up I was told delivery details had been sent but were probably in Spam - apparently I wasn’t alone.
Tyres are fine
The bike I ordered was well set up and delivered on time.
Still haven’t received the goods I ordered and there has been no update or info.
When I was younger I used to stay in Bruntsfield and got lots of stuff from Edinburgh Bikes. Bikes. Tools. Parts. Clothes. But then moved away.
However they handled a recent Specialized warranty claim for me (bought down England)
First class. Great experience (again). Reminded me how great they are (were)
I asked for the expected delivery date to be put back a day, and Edinburgh Bicycle agreed. After that, communication about delivery was slightly confused, but the bike did actually arrive on my preferred day. (I realise that it's hard for the seller to guarantee a delivery day.) All OK with the bike itself.
I've used Edinburgh Bike Co-op for years, they are an excellent bike shop.
Great service and price, I always buy from them when I can. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Ordered online for pick up in store. Was contacted to say there might be issues with order. Phoned shop who said it would be in next day. Phoned shop next day who said they couldn't find the order but would call us back. No call, so Phoned back after the weekend to be told items not in stock but could be provided in a couple of weeks. A few days later contacted to be told that parts would not be available at advertised price, so cancelled the order.
Put my bike in to get my forks and battery lock fixed it took over 6 weeks and when I got my bike back the wheel was loose it could have fallen off and could have been badly injured I was told the bike had checked as well poor workmanship avoid

Based on recent experience. Spent £3k on an electric bike. 4 months /500 miles later cassette was worn/stopped working. Shop said a cassette wearing out was not a warranty item. I would buy my bike(and warranty) elsewhere folks. You only know how good your local shop is when something goes wrong. Very disappointed in this local bike shop.
I bought sunshades for a Christmas present - you have an excellent click and collect service - very efficient.
Staff are helpful, knowledgeable and informative.
The sunshades have not been used yet, but were well received on Christmas day - comfortable and a good quality product.
