Unacceptable Delivery Service
I waited at home all day for a large Harrods delivery, only for DPD to falsely mark the delivery as “attempted”. I went outside immediately after receiving the notification and found the DPD driver standing outside smoking.
Unfortunately, this isn’t an isolated incident. On several recent deliveries, my parcels haven’t even been left inside the apartment gates—they’ve been dumped outside the entrance where anyone walking past could take them. No one buzzes the intercom or knocks on the door, so I often don’t even realise they’ve been delivered unless I go to look.
The service has become consistently poor. Falsely marking delivery attempts and leaving parcels unattended outside a residential building is completely unacceptable. I expect much better from a company trusted to deliver customers’ purchases safely.
