I will never buy another dewalt product
I bought some Dewalt. eighteen gauge two inch nails. I get all the way home and find out that Dewalt makes their nails specifically for Dewalt by making them 51 millileaders, instead of 50 like Everybody else. So Dewalt is a garbage company and I will never buy another dewalt product. Oh yeah, there are number 2 screw bits are garbage. Also they hardly fit any screws
The worst customer service horrible
The worst customer service horrible. Now I understand why all my friend Tecnician using Milwaukee or other brands.
Horrible service support
Horrible service support. Cordless mini chain saw does not work properly. Tried 800 call in multiple times. Could not get to an agent. Call back service never called back. I’m stuck with a useless tool.
My DeWalt lawnmower which I purchased 3…
My DeWalt lawnmower which I purchased 3 yrs ago. I also purchased the 3yr extended warranty. I had the drive to go handle snap off on the right side. That began my endeavor to have the extended warranty to cover this. After severa months of unanswered phone calls and emails, finally heard in a human voice. Said I would receive an email within 48 hrs. It would tell me where to have it repaired. I was to pay for the repair and then be reimbursed. Never received that email. Now can't get anyone to answer my calls. Also I now have the AH 10 battery that will not take a charge. I would advise anyone to be cautious of buying this product. As far as the extended warranty that also is a waste. I've been back to Home Depot and they were offering no help at all. I purchased this mower because of the DeWalt name. It's not the quality that DeWalt has been .Things have changed. There are a lot of tool mfg out there. So long DeWalt.
I purchased a 2-drill DeWalt cased set…
I purchased a 2-drill DeWalt cased set which included two 20v lithium battery's. This drill set was only used 3 times & in near new condition. Recently upon needing to complete a homeowner project as I attempted to charge one of the batteries, it would not accept any charge at all. After making a call to DeWalts customer service (Philippine based) the service agent completely rejected my complaint without ANY compensatory effort to stand behind the failed battery issue. I will no longer purchase, recommend or use any DeWalt products that I have.
I purchased the 10” table saw last…
I purchased the 10” table saw last February. Out of the box the fence was broken. It took three weeks for a replacement. The following week i removed the riving knife to make a dado c cut and the riving knife assemble came apart after a e clamp came off the spring. I brought it to a service center an hour and a half away and was told 2 weeks. That was 5 weeks ago. After I call the service center again I’m told still waiting for the part. Save your money and go to Harbor Freight. At least there you know what you’re getting
DeWalt would not honor the 3 year…
DeWalt would not honor the 3 year warranty for their 20V XR cordless Pole Saw. Avoid DeWalt at all costs, garbage product and useless customer service.
Terrible support. hard and lengthy warranty claims
Bought a DeWalt DCBL722B leaf blower on 5/15/2024. First use it overheated and shutdown. This was less than 5 minutes of use. Got it replaced with the same model. Exact same experience with the second unit. Used both a 2AH and 5AH battery. Seems pretty useless for a yard tool. Tried speaking to them about a warranty claim but I am out of state from a service center. They said I can get a UPS ticket online. Went to the link and they wanted me to pay for a repair first. Warranty says three years free repair or replace. Make sure it works in the first 30 days. Will not recommend or DeWalt.
Broken Equipmet
I have used DeWalt for a while now and they have been pretty reliable for me until now. I have a 20v 5AH battery that is not even old, and it will not hold a charge. I've had two saws break like I have no idea what is happening with Dewalt, but they turned into a Garbage company with bullshit products. Especially when you reach out to customer service for a replacement and get told they cant do anything at this time.
Was good a while back
Was good a while back, ive had 3 new dewalt tools that broke in 4 months. Awful now.
DeWalt warranty and replacement sucks in my opinion their tools for the most part are great but don't get a rolling toolbox
I used to be a Milwaukee fan but as I get older I need more ergonomic lighter ease of use type tools so I switched over and bought an entire arsenal of DeWalt tools for the most part I love every single one they're light durable and I have trigger finger from working construction my whole life so it really does help quite a bit it doesn't alleviate the trigger finger but it sure helps having tools that are light ergonomic and yet powerful. Although I am very disappointed with their tough system 2.0 didn't know you had to register anything in order to take care of any kind of a replacement or whatever so it was kind of upsetting after spending probably three grand and tools with DeWalt that I ended up selling five different boxes from the 2.0 rolling tool box set for next to nothing because the bottom of my rolling toolbox cracked and water was getting in not to mention two of the lock handle thingymajegs on the sides broke almost immediately after I bought him and I had a lot of issues getting them to lock and stay locked without coming off I I definitely love DeWalt tools although I do believe that the boxes are not great when I had my Milwaukee rolling toolbox man I could toss that thing pretty much from anywhere never broke never had an issue with that locking no problems whatsoever and even without a receipt I send it in or take it to a preferred place and within a couple weeks I've got a brand new toolbox or whatever it was. So basically 3 months after I bought a whole buttload of tools because I didn't register it there was nothing I could do because I didn't register it didn't really think I would need to so I basically just lost out on a crap ton of money cuz those things are not cheap unfortunately so I definitely would not put DeWalt at the highest on the list as far as having issues with product but for the most part DeWalt has good product I really would love to try out the new system of rolling Workstation although it's so expensive and I just had to spend all this money to purchase all these tools and then sell my entire rolling setup combo for dang near nothing so it's going to take me a while to save up for that unfortunately but I would love to see if they have upgraded the quality on what looks like a great new setup and I will for sure be registering everything from now on unfortunately I didn't register any of these tools yet and they say you can only do it up to 3 weeks which is kind of ridiculous in my opinion but it is what it is
Assembly instructions for dcm561pbs…
Assembly instructions for dcm561pbs strimmer an absolute joke.Useless.
Surprised to see the bad reviews on here but now understand.
£250 tool with slot head screws.Unbelievable.
Defective battery exchange
I bought 4 12ah flexvolt batteries off of eBay new in the package. Out of the 4 , 1 of the batteries wouldn’t operate any tools. The battery showed charged but wouldn’t work. I called dewalt, the customer service guy told me that normally they couldn’t authorize an exchange on products purchased through eBay but he made an exception. After a minute or two of him taking my info; purchase date, address, name etc. , he says the 12 ah batteries were out of stock and asked if I would be ok with a 15 ah , uh hell yeah lol. I was told my battery would arrive in two weeks or so. 3 days later I come home to not only one but two 15 ah flexvolt batteries sitting on my door step.I’ve always preferred dewalt and I have tools and batteries that we’ve put through major hell and still use them daily after 8 years of abuse. But after this, I’m dewalt til I’m done, I’ll never buy any other brand of power tool.
Condescending
Condescending, unwilling to listen, they already know everything.
I was trying to make a suggestion to improve a product. She told me to watch u tube because I don't know how to use their shop vac.
great tools
great tools, terrible website(s).. Next time don't get the carpenter to make your website for you...
Surprised that DeWalt is still in business
I am not sure how this company continues to stay in business. Bought their skill saw and it broke within a year. Worst customer service. NEVER BUY DEWALT AGAIN. Cannot get this saw replaced with any of the retailers. I remember I had an issue with Milwaukee power tool, and they took care of me in one day by sending me a shipping label to send them none working tool, and they sent me brand new one that same day. DEWALT - NEVER AGAIN. I rather overpay a little and get best quality product from any other brand.
Absolutely appalling
Absolutely appalling! I sent my drill back ( which was faulty) not long had it. In its original box which was in pristine condition. They sent it back dirty, and put the return label which was 8x4” on the back of my box instead of the outside return box which has ripped off all my item labels ie model number etc. after sending them an email regarding this with photos , they simple said they won’t send a new box just because it’s dirty and the labels have come off. ! I expect to get my property back EXACTLY how I sent it. I keep my tools clean and well maintained, they are fit home not a construction site. But you’d think that’s were it just came back from.
Warranty claim
Warranty claim. Impossible. 12 days waiting on an open ticket. 10 emails unanswered. Opened a new ticket regarding the old ticket; simply closed and marked resolved. WTH is happening with B&D. Sent another email to their corporate office; result more of the same....no response. After buying thousands of dollars of Dewalt tools I am finished. Posting this to Amazon next.
Nice to see that Dewalt has joined all…
Nice to see that Dewalt has joined all the others in the selling power tools with no batteries scam. Nothing more than gouging the customer out of more money. No more Dewalt, Kobalt, Milwaukee or any other name brand that does not include a battery and charger. It's really simple. Include the battery and charger and the customer will see it and know they are paying it and glad the kit(s) are ready to go once you hit the job site. Alot of Chinese knock off models out there that include those items and hey, if American brands are not going to take care of the customer properly, my money will be going across the ocean.
This company has to have the worst…
This company has to have the worst contact service ever. I'm almost ready to buy Chinese. What is wrong with these american companies? Too big to fail?
