Excellent experience with ConveyLaw for the conveyancing of our house. Madiha was highly professional and kept us updated regularly with the progress of our case. The whole process was hassle-free, and we felt well-supported from start to finish.

We worked with Alex Harris, Imogen and team and they were really supportive throughout the process. Always replied to our emails and answered our calls to reassure us and helped us push forward the move when the chain stalled. Just a friendly and professional service and we’re really happy we got Alex and his team.

Avoid. 0 stars. When a company has an entire website dedicated to documenting how poor its service is, that should tell you everything you need to know.
My boyfriend's seller used Convey Law, and his experience with them (particularly Joshua Ray and Kieran) has been beyond disappointing. They aren't merely underperforming; they are effectively non-performing.
The saying "you get what you pay for" has never felt more accurate.
If this review saves even one person from the stress, frustration and endless delays caused by this appalling company, then writing it will have been worthwhile.
It was a quick service, I was kept informed throughout

The service provided by Abbie Price, my conveyancer at Convey Law, was excellent. Abbie handled our sale professionally and efficiently. Communication was clear, and she kept the process on track to completion despite a tight timeline. A particular highlight was how quickly she responded to any queries. I would recommend her and Convey Law to anyone selling and buying a home."

I had Jodie assigned to my case who talked me through everything. I was kept updated throughout on the portal and and via email. Everything was handled in a professional manner and the service was good. There were a few additional charges that appeared throughout my transaction, however some were rectified while the others were needing to go ahead. Overall the process was smooth and took 15 weeks despite some waiting from other solicitors.
Jodie was overall very good communicating me through the process which made things so much easier. Thanks Jodie!

We used Convey Law for sale and purchase of our houses. Professional and swift queries and answers to any questions we had. Phillip Edward’s went beyond our expectations to ensure we were happy in the process and even when the completion was delayed we were reassured Convey Law were handling the situation to ensure it all happened

Sophie and Jazmine were very helpful and always on hand to deal with any questions. They were always helpful and the house sale went through relatively smoothly. Dealings with Sophie and Jazmine were always warm and friendly and they were always helpful. I would recommend working with them.

Following the completion of our sale, in order to provide a fair and balanced assessment, I have taken some time to reflect on the service provided by Conveylaw.
As a result of which, I can honestly say that the service we received was nothing short of shambolic, incompetent and totally unacceptable. If you are considering using this firm for your conveyancing services DON’T.
Throughout this process Conveylaw acted in their own interests and totally ignored the fact they were acting on our behalf. This was a simple sale, with no chain on either side, both the seller and buyer used Conveylaw and whilst we initially thought this would make the process quicker it only transpired to take longer due to sheer incompetence and an inability to communicate succinctly within their own business.
The communication received throughout was of poor quality, contradictory and lacking in detail. Conveylaw will claim that they update clients weekly from an automated email system. However, this ‘system’ only provides generic updates, updates which are provided one week and removed the next, and which are contradictory in nature, it is therefore impossible to gain an accurate understanding of where the process is upto, or if queries are outstanding, exactly what these queries are. This, it seems, is a deliberate attempt to control the narrative and time taken to complete a transaction so that it is convenient for Conveylaw, irrespective if the required information is available and both parties are pressing to move ahead.
Whilst this was a lease hold property, management packs from the respective agents were received within a matter of days. In total, from the point of instruction, the sale took over 6 months to complete. The last 2 months, it seems, were lost due to Conveylaw either misplacing documents, not asking for the correct information or simply stalling in order to satisfy their own process.
The week prior to completion we requested a final statement so that we could check the amount to be paid as a result of the activities completed. Despite asking for this statement numerous times prior to completion, it was only received after completion. Again, it seems this was a deliberate attempt by Conveylaw to hide costs added to the final statement without our prior knowledge, and with no explanation provided. Incredulously, given the length of time it took to complete the sale and the complete lack of professionalism we had been exposed to throughout the process, one such cost was for expedited completion. At no point where we informed of this cost prior to completion, or what exactly constitutes expedited completion. Quite to the contrary, prior to completion, we were explicitly told that the sale could not be completed any quicker due to the time it takes for the banks to release the funds, and yet here we are with an expedited completion charge.
If I could give less than one star for the service, we received I would. If you are still reading this review, I commend you. The only advice I can give, if you are considering using Conveylaw, DO NOT USE THEM.

Great services and dedication to get remortgage before completion dead line.

Awful solicitor. They almost made our chain collapse on the day of completion as they didnt request the deposit from our buyers LISA account until on the day! Thank god it all went through at 16.45! This was the icing on the cake after all the other stuff they did wrong or didnt do at all. THE WORST SOLICITOR FIRM IMAGINABLE.

Alex was extremely helpful during the sale of my property, wspecially dealing with an extremely unhelpful solicitor amd buyer who repeatedly threw unnecessary stalling tactics into play for no reason.
Despite the paperwork being online, Alex was extremely helpful as I was having difficuty completing some forms and so I attended the office which alleviated the issues in one straightforward hit.
would recommend Alex Jarris and will use them again in the near future
