Working with Caterer for over 8 years now, it’s clear the team at Caterer understand the importance of effective client management. They ensure we receive regular updates, data insights, ideas on where we can improve our adverts, regular training and system improvements.
Our Customer Success Manager and Account Manager are easy to access, with quick response over phone or email, having never encountered any delays or frustration when seeking help.

Pressure Sales Tactics for a Poor Service. Use Indeed!

Dealing with caterer as a small business is absolutely infuriating. You get pressured into buying job credits to save on individual job post costs. Then when you post the job the quality of applicants is awful and ultimately not worth the money. Then you're told the credits expire after a year. We are lucky to have a high staff retention so didn't need to post. Additionally we found indeed which is free (although you can pay a small fee to boost your post) and not only are the quality of applications much much higher but the system is much more user friendly and has a handy chat feature that puts you in direct contact with the candidates. We have hired some lovely people through indeed. Catere are currently sitting on a few hundred ££ of ours and won't refund it. Be warned: trying to post an ad here they make you phone up so they can bully you into buying more credits than you need. Probably OK if youre a huge chain but as a small independent it's just too expensive, lacks both candidates has a terrible user interface.

Regarding the expiration of credits, we aim to be as transparent as possible about our policies, but we recognise that this can be an issue for businesses with high staff retention.

Top service.

I have been using Caterer.com for most of my recruitment needs in several capacities for the best part of 10 years. The results have been good (even in difficult times) and consistent, with approachable account managers always at the other end of a phone and happy to help (Cheers Jay & Will).

Some great extra perks too. Regular reviews to see how I do versus the competition, advice on ad writing, updates on what goes on in the industry etc.

Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic!

We have been using Caterer for a few years now and it has been brilliant! We work really closely with Jay and Jess and nothing is ever too much. They have really supported us in using the platform and finding quality candidates for the business.

The human touch

As is so often the case these days, it is a joy to speak to a real expert in customer service. My personal experience with this website is not very good, I personally used to apply for some chef jobs, I did it in the past and recently, they home some good opportunities, but u never get a reply from them.
