While I did get some money - it was an absolute nightmare!
it was problem after problem. My iMac was perfect condition - just without the Keyboard and Mouse (which I stated in the beginning and nothing was mentioned). Other trade in sites list the keyboard and mouse as additional - but not on Cash4Mac, the assume that you are going to send it - even if you have already told them!
It took them two weeks to send me a box, then another week for them to get in touch with me on getting it picked up. I got in touch and asked again - they sent me ANOTHER box. So I had two iMac boxes. They arranged for them to be collected - but the courier only collected one box, as it wasn't stated they were collecting two. Then - the iMac returned back to me, even though it had the address on it and myself listed as the sender! (This may not have been their fault but it all adds to the drama of this company!)
I have had many iMac's in my time, so I know how to package a box, but I watched the video tutorial that they sent me and packaged it exactly like the video.
They said that it wasn't packaged correctly and the polystyrene had broken in the corner. They sent pictures of the iMac in a completely different position to how I sent it - even with the power cord plugged in, which it was not when I sent it.
They deduced £70 off of my final price because of the polystyrene and no keyboard and mouse and sent some really abrupt messages saying I was basically lying.
So while I did get my money eventually - the communication and the way they handle the products are absolutely awful. I would not recommend.

Dear Customer, I’m very sorry that you were dissatisfied with the service. We do our best to ensure our service is as seamless as possible.
Unfortunately with iMacs, they must be sent in the original box and packaged in a specific way to avoid damage during transit.
The reason we include the keyboard and mouse in the original quote price is because this is what originally came with the iMac at the time of purchase and is therefore included in the ‘unit’. We have this information in our T&Cs that we will discount the price of these at a second-hand price (not new) as the original quote is the amount with the keyboard and mouse.
Also, we pay £25 extra if you still have the original box for the iMac. This is because iMac boxes are hard to come by and are essential for us as we require them for situations like your own. When the polystyrene inserts were returned and one was broken we had to deduct £25 from the quote as this is how much the box cost us. When an insert is broken it renders the box unusable due to the specific packaging needed to keep the iMac safe.
We always offer to send the unit back to the customer free of charge if they are not happy with the amended quote. This is to ensure we are fair and give you a chance to reject the quote without the consequence of paying anything if you’re not happy.

Took a little bit longer than other companies I've used before to issue payment but once I chased it Patricia was really helpful and it was in my account within 24 hours. Price was good too!

Sold my Mac to this company - great service highly recommended
Sold my Mac to this company, I got a good price and unlike some of their online competitors I was not messed about. On the contrary I agreed the sale online while they were undergoing a store move so they were unable to progress the matter at that time. When they could they had stopped taking my model due to new Apple releases, but honoured the deal anyway.Nice to know there are companies that care about their customers and their reputation.

Excellent place to sell a Mac
Found this company by a google search when looking to sell my iMac. Apple had offered £210, Cash4mac were quoting £495. Sent computer to them, they examined it, offered the quoted price and money sent to me immediately. Great company, great staff, excellent service. No hesitation in recommending them
