Family purchased us a London theatre…
Family purchased us a London theatre trip with an overnight hotel stay. The booking process itself wasn’t the easiest as you couldn’t do them both at the same time. So had to hope you’d find an ok hotel after you’d booked the show. There was a limited choice of shows without paying out additional fees and an even more limited choice of hotels. But it all worked out and we had a good trip.

Received a buy a gift voucher from some friends on our anniversary for the amount of £340.00,we decided to use for a weekend break we found and booked a 2 night stay bed and breakfast but it was £100.00 more than the voucher amount but we decided to go ahead so in total £440.00 for 2 nights bed and breakfast,my wife then Received an email confirming our booking and the amount for £256.00 direct from the hotel.So what I would like to know is where did the remaining £184.00 go.Not happy and would not recommend.

AVOID
AVOID! I was bought a gift voucher, the buyer bought a cinema voucher from buy a gift through Moonpig. I went to use the £30 voucher and was told I needed to pay £2 towards 2 cinema tickets. This is national cinema day where cinema tickets cost £5 and standard days are £10. How do they warrant this ridiculous mark up? I tried to contact buy a gift several times during their opening hours to get the voucher refunded to the buyer, just to be told by their AI that no customer service agents were online. So you only get 30 days for a refund, you aren't aware of this until you try to use the voucher and when you try to get a refund, it appears that only the buyer can request it and there is no one online during customer service hours to help you anyway. What a sham! I have passed this information onto the buyer, hopefully they will be able to get somewhere. I certainly will not be buying anyone a voucher through buy a gift.

This idea of a Buyagift is great.
This idea of a Buyagift is great and we had a great day but I wasn’t very impressed when I found our main meal at Marco Pierre didn’t include a full main meal. After purchasing potatoes and mushrooms for two of us I was given a bill which was only £12 short of the gift price for it, which I wasn’t expecting, so having a great idea of the gift, it was spoilt by the restaurant in question, I wouldn’t recommend this particular gift to anyone, but the overall gift idea is a good one.

Hi 👋 I purchased a voucher from buy a gift 🎁. It was for my Daughter. I didn't receive it on time it was for her Birthday and Anniversary gift. I contacted buyagift regarding the situation
I was reasured that it will be sent out the next day delivery which was the 4th of September. Because my order was placed on the 26th of August 3-5 days delivery but ne very turned up.
So I was Happy that my voucher was delivered on the 4th of September Because her Birthday was the 3rd of September .

Not many options for food in our area(1 within 30 miles) , and those that there were were not very salubrious (quite rough establishments). The meal was good value for money, but the gluten free options were very poor.

Lost voucher
I contacted customer support as my brother never used a voucher I sent to him (due to illness), and which expired nearly a year ago. The error has only recently come to light. The agent was very helpful and extended the use-by date to December next year. I was very pleased to know that the gift (and my money!) hadn’t been completely lost! Thank you Buyagift 🤩
