Brighthouse is very unreliable they don't give you help whatsoever. When you need help they talk crap to you. I highly recommend to buy from somewhere else. The staff are very rude always talking over you which is very disrespectful. These stores need to be shut down all they give you is misery stress n make you feel unwell. They don't care about people who has mental health issues. Which they should. It's the worst store I've known to treated you like rubbish. They think they are excellent when they aren't paying for something which your not entitled to is very annoying. People never trust brighthouse they are very disrespectful rude n horrible. Never going again!!!

Absolutely ridiculous

Still paying for a washer despite brighthoise going bust. The engineer was rude, cocky and wasn't interested in the repair. We've had a few issues with strange noises, loads not spinning, foul smells and an error code E03. He said it was working perfectly at the time of visit. I had recorded some of the strange noises and he wasn't even interested to listen to them as he had to hear the noise for himself. Didn't show ID, wore a mask that didn't fully cover his nose and was abrupt, rude and inconsistent. Absolutely ridiculous service. I should stop paying for the product. They just don't care at all.

Worst experience ever

I went to the store in March to buy an American fridge the guy guy printed me the wrong contract and without noticing i sign it.After a week of waiting for the fridge they delivered me the one that was on the wrong contract.I went to them the same guy printed me the right contract for the American fridge but they never come to change it because the Covid hit and they shut from March until now(and i hope they will close down this rubbish).After a week they charged me double(for both fridges because the guy didn't cancel it he added the American as well.I kept calling them from march till December but no answer.On January i have raised a complaint and they said it will be 28 days until will be solved but here we are at the end of march(one year since i Bought the fridge).I put my account on hold until they will deal with my complaint because the value of the fridge was 585 and in my bank account it shows me all the transaction total for them is 657 and when i call them they ask me to pay more and more saying that i need to bring my account up to date.Beside this i refused the insurance for the fridge(they say i sign for it but on my copy i don't have the signature)and they told me that some of the money are going for the insurance.And now i keep receiving calls and messages to may more and i request a call from the manager who never called.What a piece of s..t is this company i start to feel very angry when i have to call them to see if they dealt with my complaint. I don't regret nothing in this life but the moment i went in that store.

I’ve got washer/dryer and after 12 months the dryer doesn’t work and the washer doesn’t isn’t draining properly !! I pay for insurance but told they doesn’t cover it and they can’t do anything!! So what have I been paying for and why does a washer not work after 12 months absolute joke of a company !!!

Load of rubbish avoid

Brighthouse what a rubbish company wish I never bothered with them got a tv and it was broken out of box so after months without one thy sent me a second hand one again broken so same thing months of ringing them I got another sent out came in water damage box that’s been used before tv second hand and still broken drive said they picked it up from a store that shut down been waiting for a manager to ring me over 18 months still nothing still have tv in box in front room I can see why thy gone under

WHY is Brighthouse still trading as…

WHY is Brighthouse still trading as Brighthouse if they are in AS they say In Administration. Also, I had a fault with my Freezer. They refused to repair it as they reckon I didn't have service cover YET ALL my other products had service cover. It is in my thoughts they removed it to prevent them from paying for someone to call out.

Totally unacceptable behaviour

Had a fault with my washing machine it was leaking water from the door phoned brighthouse last Thursday morning I asked if it could be marked as urgent (callback within 24hrs) as I have 4 children and my washing machine is so important in my house. Didn't hear anything at all which I was pretty disappointed with so today (Monday morning) I phoned again only to be told nothing was logged! I spoke
to the most unsympathetic member of staff, I was absolutely fuming as I've been waiting all this time for nothing! I told her I want to speak to a manager of course told this wasn't possible and I said I want an engineer out today as this is their fault not mine! She says do I want to log a complaint as I seem dissatisfied!? I mean do you think so?? I've been a customer of BH for years now and always spoke highly of them but this is absolutely disgusting behaviour and it seems from reading through these reviews it's a common theme these days, so do the staff just not care anymore as they've got into administration? That's no excuse whatsoever to treat people so poorly. I was told I have a wait of up to 24hrs for a response regarding my complaint, of course I mean heaven forbid they deal with anything immediately. My youngest is 3 and of course goes through clothing pretty quickly and what with home schooling etc I have no time to be hand washing!! I'm so angry and upset

This company should be completely shut…

This company should be completely shut down. They are cowboys and there customer service is diabolical they must employ monkeys! I’ve been waiting for a replacement sofa since June 2019! They replaced the chair no problems (I have full cover and insurance) now they are saying the sofa isn’t covered and I’m not getting a replacement this is after they told me they had found a replacement for me on 16 dec but because I’m missed the call it had been cancelled and now I’m not getting one. I’ve put a complaint in which they responded to we are upholding the complaint as we did say would would replace etc. Yet when I speak to them they have no clue and say no? I have been advised by one of they customer relations that I should not make another payment as it’s my last payment and they would not be willing to entertain it after that! I still get calls each week for payment and threats to come around etc. I’m currently at my wits end and I’m going to take this to the financial ombudsman as this is practically day light robbery. Discusting service discusting staff. Quick enough to take you money though and a lot of it!!!!!

If i could give a minus score I would!! I paid for a Samsung S20 phone with bright house. My balance has been paid off in full since last November and I am STILL getting calls, emails and texts saying that I am in arrears! I am done with ringing and explaining what's going on... I get the same response, its a glitch in the system. The calls end for a few days then they're back with avengance! I've even had someone knocking on the door when we've been in tier 4! It's 11 am and I've already had a text message and a phone call. I'm not even owe any money to them! It's sheer harassment. Companies like this absolutely deserve to go bust. They prey on people when they are most vulnerable and harass then to breaking point.

Stay well away!

I bought a tumble dryer and it doesn’t dry I called to see if they would fix the problem (I also had there insurance on it) they said they would get someone to call me for repair never received this call I called them back and they said they would get someone to call again which they did not! this went on for around 9 months and for them just to say now that you have paid for your item we will no longer be able to fix the issue!

Thank god this company has gone bust and isn't accepting any new customers. If you miss a payment for any reason, they are allowed to phone you up to 3 times a day to each number they have on file (but even that is considered harassment by Citizens Advice), not three times a day each from their different numbers and certainly not before 8am. They are illegally harassing customers within unacceptable hours. In case they haven't realised, a lot of people have fallen on hard times. Please people AVOID AT ALL COSTS at least for your own mental health.

Sofa material torn by delivery guys, to which I refused to sign for as being delivered Ok so they left sofa at my property and drove off. Contacted Ipswich store and asked for a replacement and was fobbed off with manager was busy each time I rang. Got in touch with customer services and was told to wait until they had a replacement sofa. 1 year later still waiting, Bright house in administration. Rang Ipswich store and suprised to speak to someone who told me customer services had not recorded any notes, more surprising bright house were still trading online even though in administration! So if your thinking of using this company DON'T.

Disgusting behaviour

Brighthouse do not like too take any responsibility for the cock ups they do at all, I have had on going problems with my tv for a while, they kept coming out too fix certain problems, it was not getting resolved they finally got the engineer too collect my tv, the engineer have had my tv for over a month the engineer did inform brighouse even thou it’s there job and they understand it’s what there paid for it would be a job getting the parts for my tv as it’s a rare brand and it would take months but brighthouse wasn’t interested ... I am constantly ringing brighthouse as they never let you know what’s going on with a item there quick enough too take money out of your bank account for, brighthouse and the engineer company will constantly pass the blame onto each other like school children brighthouse finally got the parts after a month of me begging and sent them over too the engineer but didn’t informed me they actually sent faulty parts too them and would have too get more instead lied too me saying it was getting fixed and I would have it in time by Christmas, only the engineer informed me that wasn’t the case I was being lied too informed me about the damaged parts they where sent, again I rang back too be lied too by brighthouse and they say the parts are on there way... again a week after I ring the engineer company and they clarify the parts haven’t even been dispatched at all and they informed brighthouse, they knew it would be a nightmare too get the parts for my tv but there tight pigs, instead of replacing my tv they would rather I wait months and months while they feed me lie after lie, I put in a compliment and I got a letter too say there not dealing with it typical brighouse I have insurance on this tv too? I would say keep the tv but I have paid more than half on it already just too let them have it? Please nobody go with brighthouse!!!!

Absolute dog poo No nicer way to put it.
Wouldn’t allow me to pay online for 2 months I had numerous of phone calls over 10 times a day I explained everything to them asked them if they was a way I could bank transfer and they declined. I’ve had my tv 14 months and it’s been broken for 3 weeks and because they hadn’t received the payment for no fault of my own which I still have proof of they wouldn’t allow me to claim on the insurance. So my children have gone without a tv in the living room for 3 weeks. Diabolical. Do not go with these people!!!! And the repayments are disgusting for single patents like myself. But I had no choice at the time. I couldn’t afford to buy a tv out right after a breakup.

Washing machine never was repair was waiting for 7 weeks so washing machine going back so had to get other machine from new supplier
Give heads up if you got bright care on your goods do not bother will not repair I rang Brighthouse up everyday got nowhere all I got parts are on order because off COVID 19 parts are hard getting hold off
