The good people at BHM saved me expense and embarrassment when Molly refused to restart outside the petrol station. I tried all I knew but then a quick call to BHM solved the problem which proved to be too simple and obvious for me to want to admit to.

Was at Brand Hatch today driving Nissan GTR with instructor Josh, who was very good at guiding me

This place is slowly going downhill. Over the last few years trackside areas are being closed to the public. The parking spot at Clearways has been taken over by food vendors who only open for big events. Seems that they no longer care about the lower types of club racing. Today they would not let you park inside the circuit due to a private event. No mention of that on any of their social media outlets. and they do not reply to emails.

Affordable and accessible motorsport.

Brands Hatch is my favourite UK circuit to visit, prices are always pretty reasonable, parking is close to the circuit and always free.

Given the unique landscape, you get to see the cars for most of the lap unlike other circuits where the car whizzes by and is out of sight for over a minute.

Food can be a bit pricey (but thats Britain for you these last 14 years) but is generally of decent quality, made to order and hot unlike some golden arches food outlets.

Gate staff always friendly, great selection of shops unlike other UK circuits including a simracing venue.

Thanks to the outer paddock, fans are always able to get up close to everything from club racing metros to F1 cars from the 1980s. Hopefully Brands get's the Formula E contract.
