I was a subscriber for a couple of years and enjoyed the beer very much - never had any problems. Sadly for health reasons I needed to cancel but the request was processed immediately by Santino Faill... See more

Great customer service as usual
Great customer service as usual. Keep up the good work.
set up so that cancelling your account…
set up so that cancelling your account and cancelling your direct debit are split and independent - bit of a dishonest structure. They also take their time to reply, so you're stuck with a delivery that can't be refunded.

If you're looking to broaden your…Beer52 & Wine52 Review – Great Drinks, Great Deals, and Quentin the Brave
If you're looking to broaden your horizons beyond the usual supermarket "that'll do" selection, both Beer52 and Wine52 are fantastic ways to sample a huge variety of beers and wines from around the world without needing a spreadsheet and a passport to track them down.
The introductory offers are genuinely excellent. For the price of a modest takeaway, you can end up with a box packed full of interesting beers or wines that you'd probably never have picked up yourself. One month you might be sipping a craft beer from a tiny brewery in New Zealand, the next you're wondering whether you've suddenly become the sort of person who discusses "notes of blackberry and oak" while swirling a glass of Malbec.
The selection is usually varied, well-curated, and accompanied by magazines and tasting notes that somehow manage to make you feel sophisticated even while drinking in your pyjamas. It's a great way to discover what you actually like rather than repeatedly buying the same thing and hoping for the best.
Now, a special mention must go to the cancellation process.
You see, cancelling isn't quite as straightforward as clicking a button online and disappearing quietly into the night. No, my friends. First comes the online process. Then come the questions. Several questions. Questions that make you feel as though you're trying to leave a secret society rather than a drinks subscription.
Eventually, after you've navigated the digital equivalent of an escape room, you're invited to make that final phone call to the retention team.
This is where legend enters the story.
Quentin.
Quentin, if you're reading this, know that your patience deserves official recognition.
After answering what feels like ten questions online, customers finally arrive on the phone ready to explain, once again, that they would simply like to stop receiving boxes of alcohol through the post. Day after day, Quentin must calmly answer calls from people ranging from the mildly apologetic to the desperately determined.
"Are you sure you want to cancel?"
"Yes."
"Even after this fantastic offer?"
"Still yes."
"What if we reduced the price?"
"Quentin, please."
I can only imagine the conversations he endures. By the time a customer reaches him, they've already completed enough steps to qualify for a medium-level government security clearance.
Yet throughout it all, Quentin remains cheerful, professional and remarkably resilient. A brave man is Quentin. A very brave man indeed.
So, would I recommend Beer52 and Wine52?
Absolutely.
The introductory deals are excellent value, the products are high quality, and they're a fun way to explore new drinks you wouldn't otherwise discover. Just remember that if and when the day comes to cancel, you may find yourself embarking on a heroic quest that culminates in a conversation with Quentin, guardian of the retention department, keeper of the offers, and undoubtedly one of the most patient men in Britain.
Five stars for the drinks.
Five stars for Quentin.
Four stars for the obstacle course between deciding to cancel and actually doing it.

Lovely customer service from Mikhaila Powell, she was able to resolve my subscription query quickly and so politely!
The beers and wines provided were not to my taste
The beers provided were not at all to my taste. A preponderance of porter/stout/black ales, several pilsners. The wheat beer was American, for heaven's sake!
The vouchers offered as "free gifts" frequently involve signing up for subscriptions.
The whole operation, including the fact that you can't cancel online, seems not designed with customer experience in mind.
This comment applies to the companies' other sites - Coffee 52, Whisky 52, and Wine 52 as well. The wine delivery was in our minds only fit to use for cooking, for example. The Glenmorangie taster was sweet, but good.

All good
Phoned today to cancel my subscription, really friendly and helpful staff, no problems at all. Will definitely consider rejoining if circumstances change
Very hard to cancel
Very hard to cancel, the agents will try to bamboozle you on the phone, making it sound like you have closed your account but they have not.
The beer is fine, but the cancellation process is intentionally confusing.
- Update after support response -
The response is hilarious, it's just more deceptive behaviour targeting people reading the bad reviews. You cannot cancel through the help centre, you can only cancel over the phone and then you will spend 20 minutes convincing them why you should be allowed to cancel.

Loved the coffee but I don’t drink enough
Loved the coffee but I don’t drink enough to justify it. The cancellation process was easy enough by calling, I wish that was only done online. But the customer service was lovely and understanding.
