Barker and Stonehouse Reviews 

We had a great experience when purchasing our first sofa with Barker and Stonehouse. Liam from the Knaresborough store was really helpful from the start and helped us find the perfect piece for our new home.

I purchased my Barker & Stonehouse bench through Fenwick so I could get a cheaper delivery rate but the item was then fulfilled & delivered by the barker & stonehouse team. The delivery window was shared 2 days before and the team gave me a ring when they were 15 mins away. The delivery team of Colin R & Micheal H were friendly and put my item together on the van. They also took away any packaging which is a huge bonus.

After delivery of our dinning table we discovered a fault/split on the edge of the table which was caused by the run of the grain in the wood, nothing to do with delivery (the delivery team were great). We contacted Customer services who arranged a repair. Unfortunately the technician couldn't match the colour exactly and informed us he would report back to Customer services. We were then offered compensation but we felt we wanted a replacement. This was arranged without question straight away. The staff who dealt with our issue were extremely professionally and most helpful and quick to respond, especially Stephanie.

My new leather furniture suite was delivered today by Zak and Stu with efficiency and courtesy. Access is a bit of a problem, but they handled the situation (and the heavy settee) with professionalism.

Delivery was a few weeks late, but it wasn't the fault of B and S. Every time the warehouse phoned me to arrange delivery, my mobile phone blocked the number and it didn't ring. I think it might be because they use a 0333 code number!

Natasha and Barry in the Hull store sorted things out by giving me the phone number of the warehouse, so that I could deal direct with Lyndsey to arrange delivery.

Top class all round. They all deserve a pay rise!

We have just had our new furniture delivered and assembled by Stewart and Matt D from Barker and Stonehouse, and the service was exceptional.
They were both extremely professional, friendly and polite throughout. They took great care when bringing the furniture into our home, assembled everything perfectly and left the area completely clean and tidy.
We are absolutely delighted with both the quality of the furniture and the excellent delivery service. Stewart and Matt are a real credit to Barker and Stonehouse. We could not fault the experience and would highly recommend them.

Excellent delivery service from Zak and Stu. They phoned 15 mins before delivery and were lovely chatty guys who happily carried the heavy furniture upstairs without any issue.

I had seen a coffee table online and when I went to order it, it was showing as sold out. I contacted Barker and Stonehouse who advised they might have one of their stores and that somebody that would contact me. Within 30 minutes, Geraldine Williams from the Teeside store contacted me to advise they did have one and that she had personally checked it (with it being display stock) and made arrangements for it to be delivered to my home. Geraldine advise that she was new to her role so the process may take a bit longer. She was absolutely fantastic, friendly, helpful and very thorough and seemed so genuinely happy that she had been able to source and arrange delivery of the item for me. I can’t thank her enough.

Had some dining room furniture delivered today, drivers were wonderful, happy and chatty and none of the usual carrier moans. Very impressed with Michael H and Colin R.

Our sofa got delivered yesterday by Jamie and Hostafa. I got a phone call when they were around 5/10 mins away. My dad said they were very careful bringing on the couch, chair and puffy ensuing they did not catch it on the walls.

Paul and David had a very difficult assembly of our new, extendable dining table. Despite very poor instruction details they persevered until it was done, ensuring that our table was assembled and ready to use. Many thanks.

On 28 August I received a text from Barker and Stonehouse to confirm that they had in stock a replacement Vi Spring mattress which was to replace one under a lifetime guarantee. As arranged, the replacement mattress was delivered today by Zac and Stu. They were on time, professional and very helpful in installing the new mattress and removing the one being replaced. Very pleased with the company and all the staff that arranged for the replacement.

Good experience. Great Sales person, we came away with what we wanted at a price we were very happy with.

Phil and David were great communicators letting us know when they would arrive. They also managed to lift and place a very large chest of drawers into our attic bedroom. They were courteous and clean removing all waste when they left.
