Customers frequently praise the remarkably affordable pricing options and mention finding the digital platform exceptionally easy to navigate when setting up various insurance policies. Consumers truly appreciate the remarkably straightforward online processes, highly competitive renewal rates, and the overall efficiency experienced throughout their entire purchasing journey. Good company

Hi. I have had very good dealings with Aviva over the last twenty plus years and have always found them to be fair and honest.

Excellent research and purchase experience; this is UK Insurance renewal as it should but too often isn't. be.

Following previous experiences with my original car Insuror, I decided to shop around rather than accept the price hikes for my loyalty. Last year I broke from that default renewal and valued my new insuror for last year; they even dropped their price for the year ahead which I value. However I tried the confused.com site and Aviva came up; unlike Europe, car insurance is expensive in the UK frame. Accordingly, I can report that this has been an excellent and rewarding process. I explored the car insurance options a week earlier... and I ma pleased that the aging quote integrity was maintained. No shaky ground and a very good price; a manner of dealing that appears to have completely evaporated in the UK car Insurance behaviours. Thank you Aviva.

Very disappointing claims handling from Aviva following a non-fault accident.

I reported the incident on 8 August, and my Volvo XC90 was inspected at Aviva’s instructed repair centre on 10 August. I was subsequently told the vehicle is not drivable, yet I have had to repeatedly chase Aviva for basic updates on the repair status, engineer assessment and inspection report.

The most frustrating issue has been the replacement vehicle. I clearly told Aviva in live chat that seven people travel in my car and that I needed a suitable replacement. Their representative told me the hire vehicle would be “similar in nature” to my car. Despite this, Enterprise later advised that Aviva had authorised a 5-seat Ford Puma or similar.

Aviva then relied on policy wording stating that the courtesy car entitlement is a “5 door vehicle”. A 5-door vehicle is not the same as a 5-seat vehicle. My XC90 is itself a 5-door, 7-seat vehicle.

I have also repeatedly requested the full inspection/repair report from the repair centre and still do not have a clear repair estimate, repair timetable or meaningful update on whether the vehicle is repairable or potentially a total loss.

Aviva has confirmed that the claim is being pursued as non-fault, yet the overall experience so far has involved poor communication, repeated chasing and inconsistent information.

I am now raising a formal complaint and hope Aviva will assign someone who can take ownership of the claim, provide the outstanding inspection information, give a clear repair update and arrange a suitable 7-seat replacement vehicle.

I will update this review depending on how Aviva resolves the complaint.

Thank you for sharing your experience ⭐

We can understand why you're disappointed with how this claim has progressed so far. Having to repeatedly chase for updates after being told your vehicle is not drivable is frustrating, especially when you're still waiting for clear information on the engineer's assessment, repair status and timescales.

Clear communication is especially important following an accident, and it's evident that the lack of updates, uncertainty around the inspection report and conflicting information have added to an already stressful situation.

Thank you for taking the time to set out your concerns in such detail. Your feedback highlights how important ownership, communication and keeping customers informed are throughout the claims process.
