Spindrift was like a home from home
Spindrift was like a home from home. It had all the items you'd have at home and it was furnished beautifully and had lovely finishing touches.
The bed was very comfortable and had plenty of storage space in the bedroom.
The view was exceptional and the welcoming gift of scones, cream, jam, milk was lovely.

Me and my husband have just stayed in an a apartment on church View mevegissey. When we booked it last year we were sure it was the apartment we had booked below,which we have been in before. The apartment was cramped and small especially the kitchen and bathroom and the bedroom said it had a king-size bed which it didn't. There were stairs up the apartment which wasn't explained,and l was having difficulty with had l have back problems at the moment. No,.l wouldn't recommend, make sure if booking you know it's got stairs ,especially if your having mobility issues.

We try to advertise the size, layout and features as best we can in the description and photos, so that guests know what to expect. The stairs are mentioned in the description and have checked the bed, which is definitely king size. We appreciate this will have been disappointing to arrive to something different than what you had in mind from your visit to Mevagissey last year, but we hope you still had a great time here. Aspects Holidays - Harbourside in Mevagissey
We booked Harbourside in Mevagissey through Aspects Holidays. The booking was easy and straightforward. The house is right on the harbour with its own parking space. Unfortunately it had one of the most uncomfortable sofas we have ever had the misfortune to sit on. There were also 13.5 tog duvets on the beds in summer! We went into Aspects' office and were told they could have moved us but as we booked fairly late and there wasn't much else in Mevagissey with parking, I'm not sure how that would have been possible. They did bring us fans though to compensate!!!

It can be very difficult to find sofas and mattresses that will suit everyone and it is disappointing to hear that it was not to your preference, however, we will continue to monitor for feedback and if it is a regular comment from guests, we will try to work with the owner on making a change. We will also pass on your suggestion of having lighter weight duvets for the summer.
