Communication and adaptable, with the ongoing war they adapt to our necessities, the guide and porters were amazing, Addit is the best guide ever, always prioritising safety without sacrificing fun. Simple it was magic.

The Alpine Ramble Team, led by Dil, are legends! They took care of us from planning the trek up until our flight day back home and it has just been an A+ experience.

Dil was very responsive in all our queries both on WhatsApp and emails, he guided us on everything that we needed to prepare and bring to Nepal. We were met by our guide Ram at the airport with the biggest smile and the warmest welcome. We did the Nagarkot day hike with Ram and that was a great way to stretch our legs and prepare for the two-week trek we were about to do.

The EBC via Cho La Pass was tough, challenging but very much worth it especially with Ram guiding us throughout the trek and keeping it fun and light with random singing and dancing as well as teaching us Nepali words that made us feel more connected with the people we meet in each tea house. Our porter, Hemanta, was another hero on this trek. He did not just carry our duffel bags but he also helped us down the most slippery slopes and steep crumbling paths. He always has a big smile and was always positive that helped us get through everyday.

Ram and Hemanta were not just guides and porters throughout our trek, they were our family.

We played cards everyday fighting the urge to nap, had conversations about their families and life outside trekking, we had inside jokes and definitely memories to keep and share.

Massive thank you to the whole Alpine Ramble Team for making our birthday trek one of the best adventures Marc and I ever had. Through the challenges and snow storms, we made it because of Ram and Hemanta. Thanks a million ❤️✨️

I did the Annapurna Circuit Trek and it was incredible. I had Nir as my guide and he was an amazing companion. Always making sure I was feeling good and ready to go. I did it in late January, although it did get cold during the nights you can certainly beat the crowds and generally have the trek to yourself. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for an adventure of a life time.

We did a fantastic trek to the EBC. The peak attempt for the Island peak unfortunately did not go ahead due to bad weather. But what a top guide we had in Prem Tamang.......We really enjoyed working with him, he knew a huge amount about the mountains and Nepal. We had great conversations, it felt like friends. This March 2025 I came solo from Australia to do the EBC trek via Gokyo! I had an amazing time in the Himalayas with my guide Prem Lama and strong porter Sugu! The trek was challenging at times but I always felt supported and well looked after. My guide went above and beyond by testing my oxygen and giving me “mountain doctor advice” such as what to eat, drink and how to deal with the weather. To make sure I was acclimatised and healthy so I could fully enjoy the trek! The places we saw were amazing, truly a once in a lifetime experience. I highly recommend booking with Alpine Ramble and make sure to ask for guide Prem he is very reliable and fun!

I decided to attempt reaching Everest Base Camp in early January solo. I choose Alpine Ramble after doing some research as they were one of the companies with the most and best reviews across different sites on the internet. Even months before starting the trek my experience was positive, communicating with the owner, Dil, via WhatsApp was easy and quick for every question I had. As soon as I landed in Nepal I was taken care of by my guide for the trek, Arpan. I will save you de details about how amazing and beautiful the trek itself is, and despite being cold at altitude, the emptiness of the trails made the experience much more valuable to me. Arpan went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable at all times during the trek, from promptly organizing tea breaks, to meals, to assuring that I had the best and most comfortable accommodation. Our talks while walking spanned from cultural differences, to family, to everyday life and much more, to sum it all up, I could have not asked for a better human being to guide me through my first time hiking in Nepal. With Arpan, Sonam my porter and the whole staff behind Alpine Ramble, I made sure not only to make it safely and comfortably to Base Camp and back, but I did it while having fun, really enjoying resting time and having a flexible day to day schedule that allowed me to stop for some extra photos or to simply enjoy everything that was surrounding me. I will be back to Nepal very soon and I will choose Alpine Ramble for my next adventure in this beautiful country.

I chose Alpine Ramble for the trek my daughter and I made to Annapurna Base Camp from the many possible trekking companies. I am so glad with my choice. Dil patiently and promptly answered the questions I had before leaving Canada. The information on the company website helped us prepare as well.
Alpine Ramble takes care of many details such as pickup/dropoff to airport, also accommodation in Kathmandu and Pokhara before and after the trek. And Dil helped facilitate a side trip we did after the trek which we planned spontaneously.
The trek itself was so beautiful along rivers, through forests, up and up to the base camp. Our guide Prashant was fabulous - he has guided for years and knew just when we needed a break and a cup of tea. And he answered our unending questions about Nepali culture. And our porter Dilal was a welcome part of our group. Both Prashant and Dilal were very kind, capable and professional.
In summary I highly recommend going with Aline Ramble for a Nepal trek.

Gil Gurung, the managing director of Alpine Ramble, is a good customer service oriented person. Even though he’s super busy with his daily operations, he still met his clients in person. Went through the itinerary & the important info with us. On our last day, he went to the hotel to see us off. He was able to establish a good rapport with us.

Our guide Sagar Gurang took good care of us during the whole trip. With his guiding, me & my friend Rick were able to make to the base camp. My husband Alex had high altitude sickness when he reached 4800m. Sagar assigned porter Pelliman to look after him in the tea house. Sagar helped us to liaise with our insurance company, dispatched helicopter service to fly us out to Lukla & Kathmandu for hospitalization. He arranged someone to assist us in Lukla & kept in touch with us closely while he was hiking out with Rick. Dil visited us in the hospital to show his care about our health condition. We felt so supportive.

Certainly I would recommend Alpine Ramble to anyone who is looking for a reliable tour operator to the Himalaya mountains.

Absolutely recommended! Especially when you have Purna as your guide and Surja as your porter. Dream team. We did the 12-day ABC trek with the two of them. We were completely flexible from the start, we were able to stay in a different hotel the night before the trek than planned, we often changed the program's routes spontaneously and stayed overnight in a village because we still had energy. Purna always made sure that we had a double room with a private bathroom and heating in common areas. In addition to breakfast, we had lunch and dinner and even fresh fruit and chocolate after dinner. So more than enough food. Any requests on our part were taken into account. For example, there was a night planned upstairs at ABC. But since we got there so early, the team decided to go down again on the same day so that we wouldn't be so cold during the night. We had far too much luggage with us, several kilos of which we really didn't need. We were able to temporarily store these in one place to relieve Surja. But before and at the end he carried an incredible amount of luggage from us, certainly around 30 kilograms. We had a lot of fun with the two of them, laughed and had a good time. Funnily enough, since Surja and my husband don't speak English, everything was still done with hands and feet. All in all, you should definitely book your tour with Alpine Ramble because they value flexibility, trust, safety and comfort!

An excellent trek with majestic views. Along the trek, there was a good variety of different landscapes. Alpine Ramble trek were very professional, pre-trip logistics were all well-organised and a lot of good advice/tips from Dil. I had an excellent guide, Nir, a very kind-hearted man, always looking out for me. Accommodations were mostly in tea houses, can be cold at night, but my guide arranged for more blankets and warmers. Overall, a very serene and fantastic experience.

I had an incredible experience trekking to Mardi Himal with Alpine Ramble. Their service was excellent and well organised, flexible, and great value for the price. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and supported throughout the trek.

The team’s flexibility really stood out. I even had the chance to visit Pokhara, thanks to adjustments they made to the schedule. My guide Prem was exceptional—knowledgeable, attentive, and always ready to help, even suggesting bonus hikes.

What a great adventure to do the Anna Purna Circuit trek and hike to Thorang La Pass at 5416m. Everyday was great with such a beautiful landscapes, mountains and animals. I enjoyed every single minute, altough it it a bit hard to hike this high as well, the views and people made every discomfort disappear. My guide Subash was amazing, he always took such a good care of me and always made sure I had a good room and meal. He knows much about the mountains and is very professional. We had much fun as well, same with the porter Arjun. The guys were amazing, I will miss their always happy smiles. I would definitely recommend to go with Alpine Ramble Treks.

Great experience from the very early planning phase together with Dil who helped with most of the practicalities. Well arrived in Kathmandu, everything went smoothly and I just had to jump into the company driver’s car, spend the night at the hotel before taking the plane to Lukla where Ramesh, my fantastic guide, awaited me.
From this point on, Ramesh took really good care of me, not only showing the way but also making sure I was adapting well to the altitude, especially in the first days. He introduced me to the culture, visiting a few temples along the way up to the mountains. Having a knowledgeable guide was handy especially while approaching the high passes where sometimes rocks and snowfields would make the path somewhat invisible. Ramesh was a quiet and reflective person but fun to have a chat with about anything. We talked about family, work, I shared a few pictures of other treks I have been doing in Europe.
Once the trek was completed, Ramesh made sure I was on the plane back to Kathmandu before continuing his journey back to his family.
The flight back to Kathmandu went like a breeze (luckily we got a direct flight) and yet again, the driver waited there and drove me straight to the hotel.

I did the Annapurna Circuit Trek with Alpine Ramble and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the trek was well organized, and every detail was expertly handled by Dil and his fantastic team, ensuring a stress-free and exhilarating adventure.

My guide, Jiten, was simply outstanding. His knowledge of the Annapurna region, as well as his passion for the mountains, made each day a fascinating exploration of culture and natural beauty. Jiten is a very kind person, was incredibly attentive to my needs (such as providing me fruits as dessert for every dinner because he noticed I liked them), and made sure I felt comfortable and safe. His insights into local culture and terrain brought the trek to life.

Equally remarkable was my porter, Bibek. He was strong and reliable, ensuring all our gear arrived safely at each stop, and he also brought warm, positive energy to the group.

We completed our EBC 11 day trek with Alpine Ramble on 27Sept2024. It was an amazing experience to say the least. From dealings with the owner , Dill, who was always quick to respond to messages and arranging pick up and drop to and from the international airport, to arranging the farewell dinner. Then I would like to say a big thank you to our guide Purna , whom I believe made it possible for us to reach EBC Basecamp. He started out as a guide but ended up as friend, photographer, waiter and so much more. He was always patient and smiling and liked to make jokes which made the difficult times so much more bearable. I would also like to mention our porter, Purtiman , who although he could speak English was always there with a smile. On the when I felt it was a difficult day, just walking past Purtiman with his smile , gave me the energy to continue. It was a great experience made amazing by Purna and Alpine Ramble
