We chose Beyond The Limits Trek and Expedition for our 5 day trek through the Himalayas, who were excellent! From start to finish they sorted everything for us! Biplop was our guide for our 5 day trek, he was amazing! We are not normal hikers but through Biplops expertise, patience and kindness we were able to complete the trek! I would highly recommend choosing Beyond The Limits you won’t be disappointed!

We had a great experience organizing our trek — the agency was easy to work with and very responsive, even with a tight timeline and custom trip. Our Sherpa, Ang Bhai, deserves special thanks for guiding us beginners with the perfect balance of encouragement and adaptability.

We had a fabulous trek to Kanchenjunga North and South Base Camps in November 2025. Saroj and his team at Beyond The Limits went above and beyond the limits to provide us with everything we needed for a marvellous holiday. The guides (Sanjeev, Beejam and Pulba) were brilliant. They were friendly and fun yet kept everything running smoothly and safely. The porters were incredible too; sure-footed and smiley-faced, carrying loads most of us would have found unbearable.

The trek is remote and challenging but very rewarding - more like the Nepal I remember from my first visit nearly 40 years ago, rather than the over-developed, commercialised tourist trap that the Everest region has become. I really don’t want to be able to buy pizza and croissants and French coffee at 5000 metres in the Himalayas! Yes, it’s mainly dal bhat and Sherpa stew on the Kanchenjunga trek, but they use freshly-picked, locally-grown vegetables and it’s pretty tasty 😋. It’s cold at night in the tea houses so a good sleeping bag and down jacket are essential. We borrowed these items from Beyond The Limits and they were good quality. We were also able to borrow micro spikes to help deal with the unexpected and unseasonal snow which fell a few weeks before our trek.

In summary, I would highly recommend both Beyond The Limits and the Kanchenjunga trek.

The experience was a high altitude challenge but BTL made it fun and enjoyable. A local Nepalese company employing local people. Great value for money. All meals and food and accommodation included and still half the cost of non- Kathmandu based companies. Would highly recommend

An amazing trekking company whose primary aim is to ensure safe trekking in the mountains.
Our trek reached both base camps of Kanchenjunga successfully thanks to the careful planning and ideal pace to ensure everyone was acclimatised properly.
The company cares for the porters who carried our kit from hut to hut, ensuring they are paid properly, these unsung heros were amazing and good to know they are looked after.
The accommodation was tea houses which although rather basic, are clean and the food was amazing.
Fantastic value for money and a great bunch of people.
Everyone on the trek (all members of the UK section of the Austrian Alpine Club) enjoyed themselves.

Twelve of us were looked after wonderfully by Beyond the Limits Treks and Expeditions while we tackled the Manaslu trek. The support we received was amazing, even when 2 people turned back and others had issues with the altitude. From being met at the airport, to support with menu choices, selecting the best tea houses for us, understanding the landscape and culture, coping with altitude, including a trip to Chitwan to our itinerary, any other random queries through to a hassle-free return to the airport at Kathmandu. We have no hesitation in recommending Beyond the Limits Treks and Expeditions.

Nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation and travel arrangements were all complete and when there were any difficulties - the company were quick to respond. Staff all knowledgeable, approachable and looked after us extremely well. We had a very successful expedition which was very much down to Beyond the Limits and all they did for us.

The company, Beyond the Limits, especially Seroj, looked after us with great care. The guides were excellent and the porters were amazing. I was walking more slowly than my companions but one guide always stayed with me and walked at my pace. My guide and I arrived at the teahouses one hour later than the others but I was not at all stressed.
Seroj also looked after my two friends who had to be helicoptered out to Kathmandu hospital because of illness. He made sure everything was done to help my friends in the best possible way!
The trek was difficult for me because of my age (74) but I was encouraged to keep going and I'm so glad I did because the views were out of this world. The teahouses were wonderful meeting places with other hikers. The food was excellent and ample! And I slept well thanks to Seroj's sleeping bag . Seroj checked our equipment before we started the trek and lent us puffer jackets and sleeping bags, at no extra cost, if the ones we had brought were insufficiently warm.
When I return to Nepal one day, I will definitely use this company again. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Really excellent organisation of our Trek of the Manaslu circuit with friends and visit to Chitwan National Park. The trip was well planned and nothing was a problem. Our group was supported by 3 guides and 6 porters who were all friendly and very helpful.

Our group of 6 started the Kanchenjunga trek in November 2025. The planning, communication, organisation & support of Beyond the Limits Trekking was excellent. Saroj went way beyond our expectations.
On day 3 I had a health issue & needed to be evacuated by helicopter. Saroj, the company owner, organised this for us & ensured we were well cared for in Kathmandu International hospital.He kept in touch & visited during my hospital stay.

I contacted Beyond the Limits Trek and Expeditions about the possibility of doing a customised 2 week itinerary and they were able to organise and incredible trip for me. They provided amazing guides and their communication was great. I was always able to get in touch with them and were always on top of things. It didn't feel like a company that just books tickets for you, instead the experience was personal and they deeply cared about making your trip as memorable as possible. I had dinner with the boss and staff at the start and the end of my trip and they were incredibly friendly. This is a great local company.

We hike the Annapurna trail for 10 days partly by jeep. Due to whether changes during our stay the company made huge effort so that we’ll catch all our plans, by online changes of hotels, flights etc… Mr. Saroy (owner of Beyond Limit) and Bishnu (our guide) did a great job !!!

I joined the EBC trek with a group of family & friends. Everything from day one was very well organised and I felt that we were in very safe hands. Due to personal health issues I had to go to lower ground and I was escorted down the mountains by Ang Bhai and a younger porter. They guided me for 5 days with such friendliness & a supportive attitude. I felt very safe with them. Everything was brilliantly organised. Thank you ! I can fully recommend Beyond the Limits services.

It was my second trip with Saroj and his team; this time it was for my 60th and with a group that was a healthy mix of ages and friends and family. We did the Everest Base Camp Trek and lucked out with the weather. But it was tough at times and without Saroj, Sera, Ang By and the porters we would not have enjoyed ourselves as much. We were wonderfully supported by them all throughout, despite at one point being split into 4 different groups due to health issues and aspirations. Saroj is very intuitive and good at gauging personalities, needs and goals - and letting each and everyone safely achieve what they set out to do. It was a lifetime experience and although I have no intention of doing EBC again because of my own limitations, I will be back again with Saroj to do another trek and spend more time in the Himalayas and in Nepal.

My sister and I did the Nar Phu Valley, Tilicho Lake and Annapurna circuit trek with Beyond the Limits and it was a fantastic and professional experience!

Every step in the process was exceptional. We coordinated through Saroj and he was so very helpful and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions in a timely manner.

Biplop met us at the airport and we met with Saroj in Kathmandu and provided us with duffle bags.

During the trek our guide and porter took care of all our needs and kept us comfortable. The trek included all meals at the tea houses. They took our orders and waited for us to finish. Then they ate. We were treated so well. We took breaks when we needed to.

The trek was stunningly beautiful, this was our first time to the Himalayas and it was an amazing experience. It was beautiful and clear. The mountains were massive, majestic and beautiful.

We are so happy we chose Beyond the Limits, Saroj, Biplop and Krishna were amazing and made our dream come through!

We had the Best of everything. The food, accommodation, guides and porters were all excellent! Even the weather held out during our two week tour with no rain or clouds! Saroj the CEO of Beyond the Limits escorted us as well and with the help of the two guides Sera and Ang Bhai we were well taken care of by the porters. Our team of 11 split up at some point into 4 groups due to various reasons and everything was very well coordinated despite unforeseen illness and altitude effects! This was a dream come true and a lifetime experience with friends and "family"!

We had the most incredible experience thanks to Saroj and the rest of the team for beyond the limits treks. We did the Lukla - Base Camp Trek and it was my first time doing anything like this and Saroj and Sera were the most wonderful guides! They were so helpful and thoughtful throughout and they made the experience all the more wonderful! I can’t recommend them enough and when I go back to the Himalayas I will be sure to use beyond the limits again.

Me and my friend just finished the Mardi Himal Trek a few days ago. We did our trek during the monsoon season, but that was not a problem at all! We had the best time. We escaped the rain almost every day thanks to good planning by our guide and porter. They were amazing in many ways! They always had a smile on their face, they came up with quick solutions to whatever problem came by. They were kind and made sure all the time that we were comfortable and felt ok!
One thing I thought about a lot before going was the packing… it was 30+ degrees in Katmandu and in Pokhara but up in the mountains it was colder, more like 15 degrees. My tips is to have two separate packings (in the same bag if you want). You spend a few days in the city so it’s nice to have ”normal” chlothes for those days. They offer to store your bag with the stuff you don’t want to take with you at a hotel while you do the trek, in that way the porter don’t have to carry unnecessary weight. Bring a smaller backpack that you will carry with the essentials (rain coat, water, phone etc).
Since it’s monsoon season there are going to be leaches in the forest (long pants is recommended even though it’s hot the first day). The leaches is easily removed with som salt that your guide will provide you with :)

If you wanna do this trek my tips for you is to get used to going up and down in stairs, since there is a lot of them along the trek! I completed the trek without any specific training berfore and I was fine!

I was very lucky to see a red panda, that was one of the highlights for me during the trip! Some other highlights is the view, all the nice people at the tea houses and the expert guiding we got :)
