OK, but could do better

Opening and funding the Cash ISA was quick and easy, and that part of the experience was very smooth.

However, I was disappointed to later discover that the Stocks and Shares ISA requires a monthly payment, as this was not made sufficiently clear during the process. Better transparency upfront would have helped set expectations and may have influenced my decision to use the service.

I have also experienced a number of bugs within the iOS app since using it, which has unfortunately affected confidence in the platform overall. Because of this, I am now reconsidering whether Plum is the right option for me.

Regarding the Stocks & Shares ISA, please note this is a paid feature and requires an active subscription, which is part of the onboarding process before the account can be opened (mentioned also in our Help Center https://help.withplum.com/en/articles/2568748-opening-a-mutual-funds-account)
That said, we understand your point around transparency and how this may not have been clear enough, and we really appreciate you calling this out.

I’m also sorry to hear about the issues you’ve experienced on the iOS app. We’d really appreciate it if you could share a bit more detail on the bugs you’ve encountered, so we can investigate and address them properly.

Great app

Plum transfer runaround

Saving tools are good but attempting to transfer isa to other providers is a nightmare. Round and round in circles. No sort code, use NI number for account number.
Other providers won't accept the details in that form. Plum not recognised, use Saveable Ltd, not recognised.
Totally frustrating. Online help massively slow, keeps giving me the same answer about NI no. Absolutely no help whatsoever.
Seriously considering cash withdrawal (loose tax wrap) and going elsewhere.
Total shitshow.

When you transfer it goes to this …

When you transfer it goes to this primary pocket then you manually transfer to LISA with no indication that this is the case. I just lost my yearly bonus because of that. I'm leaving this stupid app

Disappointed with automation tools

I’ve had Plum since the beginning of the year and while I do really like the idea of it - in practice I’ve found it frustrating. I’ve have technical issues with the automation functions and despite having raised this to customer support back on the 30th December, I’ve still had no resolution and I’m only getting updates when I ask for them - and even those aren’t particularly helpful. I thought this would be a great tool to help improve my savings, and paid for the boost service so I am feeling let down.

Specifically I have tried to use fictions like 1p saving challenge and the 52 week challenge and neither works. I’ve been messaging with support since the end of December with no resolution.

PLUMB They do what they say

They do what they say, money is transferred in and out of the accounts smoothly,the rates for 2025/26 have been good, but had to remove funds as the interest is dropped in May,

Great way to save.

Great way to save.

If you set up the rules correctly you won't notice large chunks ever leaving your account, just dribs and drabs that quickly build up to a decent amount. If you need it back it can be instantly transferred from the basic account.

You also have interest pots you can save in or investment accounts.

I just leave it to slowly save and it's been brilliant.

Missing government bonus for Lifetime ISA

I transferred over my Lifetime ISA to plum in July 2025, and since making a deposit in August I have STILL not received my government bonus, despite contacting the support team multiple times and being constantly fobbed off. I’m now stuck with this account until this gets sorted. I have wasted lots of time trying to get this sorted, as well as the lost interest. WHERE IS MY GOVERNMENT BONUS?
