Do not use Warby Parker Village Point in Omaha
The Dr is amazing, The staff in the store make you feel like an idiot when trying to get glasses adjusted. I am on my second remake of lenses as the first one was measured incorrectly. The prescription was great but the store staff were abysmal. It remake was ordered incorrectly a - instead of a +. Could not see a thing nor would I ever see a thing (even the Dr said that lol). The store staff flat out told me I had to let my eyes get use to them. BS, when I said I wanted a refund they said well let us get you back in with the DR. Prescription was fine she figured out it was orders incorrectly.
Literally received new glasses, work ok, need adjustment. Take the 20-30 minute drive again, the young man who waited on me again would not listen to my issue, oh they look like they are sitting fine on your face. Distance is still not clear! He did not adjust anything but the ear piece and that did nothing for where they sit. They slide down constantly.
Oh well I am on my rant, the original appointments for my wife and I, we both received the prescription and promptly/ rudely told, they could not manufacture my wife’s. We went to a store I. The same mall and they made them for her. No issue.
I refuse to use Warby Parker in the future, to he Dr is amazing but the store staff needs to learn listening skills and try to assist people. I am going to try this new pair for a period and if they do not get better, I will drive the drive again for a refund.
I refuse to ever use Warby Parker in the future! Do not! I repeat, Do NOT ever use this store. I give it 1 star because of the Dr. she is awesome!!
Horrible
We scheduled an appointment so we can see what the hype is all about. I called and was told they accept out insurance. We went to the one on Green Valley Village Walk Henderson Nevada. First impression already she was not very friendly. She gave us a QR code to scan then she said we have to pay full price off hand then they will bill our insurance. I said well that was not how it was explained to me over the phone. Then she had the audacity to say did you not read the fine print? She even added " well what did you expect it's a corporation" Let's just say they can keep their cheap glasses not going back ever again.
They’ve gone downhill
Ordered glasses in store almost a month ago and when they finally arrived at the store they said there was an imperfection, so they were returned to be remade. It has said 10 days till delivery for 3 days. When I emailed them I got an AI generated email. Calling them said that the app would update soon and it hasn’t. Why are they using AI now?
A total waste of time, money and insurance benefits!
Total junk. The employee writing the order after my exam took it upon herself to change the numbers on my prescription, reciting a bunch of pseudo-erudite word salad to justify it. Is that even legal? My reading glasses seem like they were made for someone else. When my distance glasses finally arrived, they weren't much better: everything looks tall and skinny, like in a carnival mirror. A total waste of this year's insurance benefits and the $75 I paid for the second pair. Company (Warby Parker, Summerlin, Las Vegas) non-responsive. This type of behavior should be reported to attorneys general in every state for action under their consumer protection laws. I believe they're using nurse-practitioner loopholes instead of qualified optometrists. Where's the benefit in worthless glasses? Don't touch 'em with a ten-foot pole!
I do not usually seek out a bad review
I do not usually seek out to leave a bad review but there was no option for a Google or Yelp without downloading an app. I received multiple emails asking for my pupil length, which I sent 4 times. After no response I reached out to customer service and they said my order had shipped. I received no email or tracking. The frames are ok, I had to adjust them myself. I would not recommend them. Look at cheaper options with better customer service.
No stars
No customer service...just a bunch of AI scripted, general fluff explaining where my glasses are....even conflicting e mails telling me when they will be delivered. I don't know what happened to this company that I openly and freely bragged about and recommended to dozens of people. They took my money on day one. Today is day 14 and they are telling me two more weeks. Don't be lured in..you will regret it.
My Warby Parker experience
My Warby Parker experience: Great products, but a frustrating customer service experien 9 Blackstone Valley, MA
I’ve always had a favorable impression of Warby Parker, which is why this experience was so disappointing.
After placing an order for prescription glasses, I decided I preferred a different frame. I contacted customer service and was told my original order had been placed on hold so I could return to the store and order the new frame without any issues.
Based on that information, I went back to the store, selected a different frame, and completed a new order.
Unfortunately, the original order had not actually been paused, and it was processed and shipped anyway. What should have been a simple frame change turned into multiple store visits, phone calls, and unnecessary confusion.
The ordering mistake itself wasn’t what disappointed me most. Mistakes happen.
What changed my opinion of the experience was my interaction with the area store manager while trying to resolve the issue. Up until that point, every Warby Parker employee I had interacted with had been courteous, patient, and genuinely helpful. In sharp contrast, I found this interaction unexpectedly confrontational and dismissive. The change in tone was so abrupt that it was genuinely jarring. I left the store feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and unwelcome as a customer.
I recognize that others involved may remember the interaction differently, but this is honestly how I experienced it. It stood in stark contrast to every other interaction I had with Warby Parker.
To the company’s credit, I escalated my concerns to the New England District Leader. He took the time to speak with me, reviewed the situation, and ultimately authorized a full refund. I appreciate that he listened, treated me professionally, and worked to resolve the financial aspect of the issue.
That said, I still hope Warby Parker continues to improve communication between its customer service team and retail stores, because this entire situation appears to have started with an order that I was told had been placed on hold but ultimately was not.
For a moment, I honestly wondered if she had confused me with another customer because of how the conversation began. It quickly became clear that wasn’t the case. Throughout the interaction, I felt as though I was being lectured rather than listened to, and the conversation seemed focused on correcting me instead of resolving the issue.
Overall, my experience was mixed.
Pros:
Excellent frame selection.
High-quality lenses.
Helpful customer service representatives before the in-store incident.
A district leader who took the time to listen and resolve the refund.
Cons:
Conflicting information about the status of my original order.
A resolution process that required far more time and effort than it should have.
An in-store interaction that, from my perspective, fell well below the level of professionalism I had experienced from every other Warby Parker employee.
I’m sharing this not to discourage anyone from shopping at Warby Parker. In fact, I still believe they make excellent products. Rather, I hope my experience encourages the company to focus on consistency. A great product can be overshadowed by a single customer service interaction, and unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened in my case.
Stay away from Warby Parker products
I have purchased at least seven different pairs of sunglasses and eyeglasses from Warby Parker all of which have scratched, in particular the sunglasses lose the tint. It scratches off and they claim it’s from heat and I’ve taken care of the glasses. They were a little over a year and the same thing happened I would never buy another Warby Parker product.
All that headache and still not low bridge fit
Their shipping does not specify they use UPS. They were unhelpful in finding out whether UPS transfers to Canada Post (they do). I asked them to not send another frame as that would add additional tariffs if the original frames did show up - and they did anyway (they eventually cancelled the new frames).
On top of this, the frames I ordered - a low bridge fit pair, do not seem very different than a regular bridge fit pair. I still have to add stick on nose pads so they don’t slide down my nose.
I should’ve gone with the other company I was looking at. Honestly.
Absolute customer support disaster
Absolute customer support disaster. I had prospective frames added to my cart for reference, then contacted customer support to place an order for one of them, telling them to cancel the other frames in my cart first. They happily said no problem and then billed me hundreds of dollars for all of them anyway. Then when I immediately requested a refund, then told me it would take a week. When I contacted again 10 days later, having still not received a refund, they told me it was my job to figure out why with my bank. And every time you talk to their unintelligible support, you have to supply an order number and email address because the system is so unsophisticated that logging into your account and starting a support chat apparently doesn't even bring up your account. Just pathetic at every step.
~$600 for Wiggles and Blurs AVIOD!
My Opinion and my thought based on my experience only: $585 for new glasses I am a 6 year loyal customer... this year the glasses and lenses are garbage. I will never go back and loath everything about them. The frames no longer have a metal connector for the screw so the frames continually fall off my face. The lenses (scratch resistant) scratch over and over again (after 1 replacement the same broken frame is returned with new lenses that scratched again after 2 days and I can no longer get a replacement because it is now over the allowable days). Not to mention the "new" lens material is impossible to clean and smudges just by putting them on (I've even tried wearing medical gloves while cleaning and nothing works). 100% stay away Warby Parker has gone downhill.
Not a good experience
My appointment today was very delayed. Said they were running late. My exam was $135. They wanted $497 for the glasses. I think they false advertise. Will take my prescription somewhere else. I guess everyone is expected to pay for their mall presence. Warby is a ripoff.
Too bad they don’t tell you everything
Workers are helpful but they don’t tell you everything the progressives didn’t work on me and they didn’t tell me about bifocals because they don’t carry them
When they asked me to come back after a year they didn’t tell me I would have to pay so I went in high heat to shop to be told I’d have to pay
Find an optician who offers Crizal or Zeiss. Terrible Lens Coatings.
My glasses were unusable because of reflective glare coming from the rear. I paid $555 and it includes their "best" antireflective coating. Their best is terrible, because they are incapable of providing antireflective coating on the inside of lenses. These were expensive glasses too - $555 for glasses. They never told me this, they just said "Oh, you'll get used to them".
I ordered 5 pairs of non prescription…
I ordered 5 pairs of non prescription frames to Canada a month ago. I received one within a week, the second a month later, and 3 pairs are still missing. They keep telling me to wait which is ridiculous. Now they won't refund me for the full order until its received but clearly it's lost. Their customer service is responsive but there are way too many cooks in the kitchen and I keep getting different robot responses.
Email sellers
Only if there was a less than one ever star review. This scam company buys email addresses just to send scams out of glass offers. Advise all people to block this company.
Deception and price gouging
Deception and price gouging. Gross. Crap quality. NEVER AGAIN.
Waited over a month and glasses still…
Waited over a month and glasses still haven’t shown up. Customer service isn’t helpful. Feels like a fraud
I have had a few pairs of Warby Parker…
I have had a few pairs of Warby Parker glasses over the years. They are what they are, cheap frames that aren’t meant to last for a long time. Progressive prescription lenses cannot be replaced, so if your prescription changes you have to buy new frames. Also in extra narrow there are only 7 frames offered. 7. Not even in cool colorways or shapes styles. Also on extra narrow frames the arms are way too short. 130. This causes discomfort behind the ear. And there appears to be nowhere on the Warby Parker website to leave a review despite having reviews for the frames. In conclusion, overall a very meh choice of 7 very meh frames.
False advertising
False advertising. I needed a pair of glasses with just progressive lenses. I was thinking $95 like advertised. No way!!! I was going to cost me $329.00!!!
