Great price and customer service will buy again!

I made an order and within 24 hours costumer service contacted me to ensure a smooth transaction since the hair was sold out. I have been using viven hair for over 2 years and absolutely love the hair quality and excellent customer service. Highly recommend for extensions handtied! Zed was great too.

This review is a read, but trust me, if you are a person who is tired and mad at companies making promises on their products and wasting your hard earned money, keep reading. We all need to start warning others and shutting down the lying merchants. Here is a few reasons I chose Vivien Hair for a 1st purchase:

1) The reviews from other consumers were very good about the company, service and their product.

2) HUGE Red flag - they reached out right after I placed my 1st (and last) $620 order offering me more hair and to upgrade my order as long as I gave them a 5 star rating. I had not even received my order so how could they be asking me to lie?

At this point, I hung my head in shame. I had been duped out of $620 by another lying merchant selling promises of an amazing product for less than salon prices and the product I was about to receive was going to be another inferior and less than quality product.

To fully investigate, I agreed and gave them 5 stars on their initial customer service and said I would update my review once product was received and used said product. I would not be part of the LIE to dupe others out of their hard earned money. And BTW, their upgrade was beaded hair (that I do not wear and a color that was not even like my order). Totally unusable "upgrade".

I have a professional friend install mine more than 1 1/2 weeks ago. Though the hair was soft when I first receive it out of the package (as all new hair is), I could see if was thin, had a smell, had no real dimension so I knew it had been dyed. After first wash, it matted slightly as it dried and lost a lot of the "softness". The hair also has A LOT of thick coarse "grey" hairs that had been dyed, many many split ends and the hair was not thick to the ends, so a 24" turns into 18-20" for healthy looking hair.

I purchased 200 grams (80 tapes) for my whole head from Vivien. Usually I only need 50-60 for my whole head using my normal hair merchant. On first review, the quality of this hair is not as good and is thinner.

It was not like I spent less money on this order so people could say "you get what you pay for". I spent $620 on 80 tapes and will get 1 wear out of them for 4-5 weeks if I am lucky. Though its not salon "quality" pricing, its still my hard earned money going out the window on dishonest reviews.

I am so annoyed that these companies take all of our hard earned money to line their wallets with lies. This hair was sold as "virgin" hair.

Definition of virgin Hair:

100% human hair that has never been chemically altered. True virgin hair should NEVER be dyed, bleached, permed, or chemically relaxed, and it should come from a SINGLE donor with the CUTICLES INTACT and running in the SAME direction.

My purchase of VIRGIN HAIR findings:

* hair has been dyed. First wash the water was a dingy dark color showing the hair was dyed dark brown to order.

* hair smelled like it had been chemically treated. smell has carried with the hair for 2 washes now.

* cuticles are NOT intact or hair in same direction.

* hair is obviously not from a single donor

* hair dos not hold a curl which suggests that the hair has been chemically altered.

I have used many brands of hair (Zala, GooGoo, Wennalife, Bellami, Irresistible me, Yilite, Great Lengths, Luxy, HotHead, etc..) and have worn tape, beads, clip ins, sew in, fusion, many styles for over 28 years. I sometime consider myself an "expert" on the quality, cost and types of extensions.

I am a victim and survivor of cancer. 30 years ago I lost almost all of my hair during chemo and ever since, it has never grown the same. The one thing that allowed me to go on in my daily life with some sort of normalcy and be able to stand tall and feel good about myself (as shallow as it may seem to some) is a full head of hair. That was it, that was and has always been MY thing about myself, my hair.

I know it does not define a person but everyone has that one thing about themselves.. When yo look into a mirror, it will make or break you.. Some its weight, some are obsessive about facial or body features. Me, my hair. To me, this is what makes up my look and to me, losing it BROKE me, broke my confidence. Being introduced to hair extensions slowly gave it back to me, made me want to look into the mirror again.

Its been almost 31 years since I survived cancer and though my hair has not and will not ever be the same pre cancer, it doesn't grow fast, its weak and breaks easily at a certain point and its still thin, I pay the price to make myself feel good about me.

That being said, I absolutely HATE coming across companies like Vivien, Zala and others that sell you on false products, lie about what you are purchasing thinking that you, the consumer, will not be educated enough to know the difference.

This is why I am so adamant on lighting up companies like this. They get rich on people like us trying new products hoping for that "better" purchase.

Great customer service. They are upgrading my order, while the product I ordered is currently not in stock. I appreciate their commitment to customer satisfaction.

The hair extensions arrived and the shade wasn’t what I had expected. I contacted customer service and asked for a refund. They followed up shortly and provided details on how to return. I followed the instructions, returned the package, paid for shipping to return, and tracked the shipment. They received my return but never refunded any of the order. When I reached out not once, not twice but three times, they never responded to any of my emails. The package was delivered back to them and they didn’t even have the capacity to refund me or email me back. Awful customer service and an absolute scam of a refund. Do not and I repeat do not buy from them.

I only buy my extensions from them. Best quality and customer service.

I have Trichotillomania and my hair pulling was getting out of control. I finally decided to try out a hair topper and this was an absolute game changer for me! Ive purchased two toppers since February and wear it all day. The hair growth I've had since is so noticeable and I've had so many compliments on my hair and how nice it looks. This is my first time buying from this site, and I have to say that their customer service has been impeccable, and that goes a long way with me. I ordered a 16" sew in, but was notified immediately by customer service that unfortunately they were out of that length and offered to upgrade me to the 18" at no additional cost. I understand these things happen, but I am more than appreciative when a business offers a solution right after presenting the issue. I look forward to receiving my extensions in the next few days, and plan to provide a follow-up review of the hair.

I have had a great experience. I bought two toppers and they are great! I get compliments when people realize they’re hair pieces. Would absolutely purchase again. Only wish is they have more lengths, and more color options and a front clip with more realistic parts that can be adjusted.
