Things sell really quick on vinted and…
Things sell really quick on vinted and loading items on is super easy however their delivery settings are not accurate and unfortunately have meant I’ve had to cancel a couple of orders because they’ve not allowed for the weight or size. For example it says moving box but the measurements only allow parcels up to 16cm high which is difficult when you’ve listed a hamster cage. When I contacted support I was just met with well that’s what it is and there is no option to choose any bigger parcel sizes as this option is not available. It’s just not as good as eBay that way however it is very quick to sell on.
Two purchases not as described
Two purchases not as described, one item states excellent condition and the condition was poor!
Second item described as worn once ! Clearly not as insoles logo was Very worn away.
Sadly can't trust descriptions!

AVOID VINTED if you don't want to be out of pocket
Will never buy or sell anything on vinted again , a parcel that was placed in an in post locker has gone missing £70 item which was my teenage sons's item so it's his money. Vinted have said it was never posted and it was and I've provided proof.

Easy to upload pictures of items to sell and then the process of sending parcels off is straightforward.
Appalling customer service – Vinted simply does not read complaints
I genuinely cannot believe how badly Vinted has handled this.
I sold an item and posted it correctly using the Royal Mail postage provided through Vinted. Royal Mail marked it as delivered, but the buyer contacted me because the parcel had been left somewhere that was not her building or safe place.
So this was a delivery problem. It wasn’t caused by me and, importantly, the buyer has never suggested that it was.
The buyer reported the problem to Vinted. Vinted then asked me for evidence. I attempted twice within their deadline to provide it, but Vinted’s own system repeatedly returned a server error.
Fortunately, I had already sent my proof to the buyer, so she sent it to Vinted herself.
Vinted then explicitly told the buyer:
“Thanks for sending the required proof.”
They also told her that Royal Mail required them to wait seven days before escalating the case, that they would keep the case open, and that they would contact her once it had been escalated.
You would therefore assume the matter was being dealt with.
Instead, Vinted subsequently cancelled the transaction and refunded the buyer because apparently I “didn’t provide enough information.”
How can the required proof simultaneously have been received and not provided?
The buyer herself repeatedly challenged Vinted about this. She pointed out that I had supplied the evidence, reminded them of their own message confirming receipt of it, and asked whether they had actually escalated the case to Royal Mail as promised.
She couldn’t get a straight answer either.
Eventually, I contacted Royal Mail myself.
Royal Mail has now confirmed to me in writing that the recipient is not in receipt of the parcel and that “the photo of the delivery location indicates a different address.”
But here’s the particularly infuriating part: Royal Mail has also told me that too much time has now passed for them to investigate the delivery further.
I therefore submitted a formal complaint to Vinted.
I provided everything. I explained the entire chronology. I supplied the tracking, delivery photograph, evidence of Vinted’s server errors, Vinted’s own contradictory messages, the buyer’s correspondence and Royal Mail’s written response. I even spent a ridiculous amount of time putting the evidence into a clearly labelled, chronological document so there could be absolutely no confusion about what had happened.
Vinted then asked me again for information that had already been provided.
So I provided it again.
And after all of that, their latest response to my formal complaint containing new evidence was:
“It appears your transaction was cancelled, and we’re unable to provide further assistance in this situation.”
They then suggested that I “check with the other party involved for any resolution.”
What other resolution? The buyer and I already agree. Neither of us is in dispute with the other. The entire complaint is about the delivery and Vinted’s handling of it.
This is beyond frustrating. It genuinely feels as though nobody is actually reading the complaint or the evidence before responding.
I have repeatedly asked Vinted one extremely simple question:
DID VINTED ACTUALLY ESCALATE THE CASE TO ROYAL MAIL WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD – YES OR NO?
They still will not answer it.
This isn’t about the monetary value. It’s about the principle and an absolutely dreadful complaints process.
I posted the item correctly. The buyer reported that it had been delivered to the wrong location. I attempted to provide evidence within Vinted’s deadline but their own system failed. The buyer supplied the evidence instead. Vinted confirmed they had received the required proof. Vinted said they would escalate the matter to Royal Mail. They then cancelled the transaction claiming insufficient information. Royal Mail has since confirmed that the delivery photograph indicates a different address, but says too much time has now passed to investigate.
And after all of that, Vinted apparently considers “the transaction was cancelled” to be an adequate response to my formal complaint.
It isn’t.
The amount of time I have wasted trying to get somebody at Vinted to simply read the evidence and answer the questions being asked is ridiculous.
If this is how Vinted handles a straightforward delivery dispute when both buyer and seller agree about what happened, I would have serious reservations about ever selling anything of significant value through this platform again.
Have ordered clothing accessories from…
Have ordered clothing accessories from abroad, after 3 weeks of no updates whatsoever I contacted seller to kindly find out what exactly is going on. No answer. Tried tracking number, nothing over there. Few days later seller advised he has no clue what was going on. When contacting Vinted customer service they advised to wait another 25 days. When finally the tracking number updated it was showing my parcel was refused at inpost. Nobody knows why. Disgusting!!!!!
EVRI only hire theives
Can tell it's coming to Christmas evri parcels going missing from drivers stealing them, evri customer service is trained to fob you off with excuses and to delay even further. Vinted allowing this to happen. Vinted is just a cover for evri to steal from people. Start reporting them to ombudsman because if this was done in a shop the would be quick enough phoning police. So hot evri where it hurts through ombudsman teach them for hiring theives

Great way to get rid of things and to make money
customer servie non existent
Great platform but the customer service is totally diabolical. They ignore complaints and simply reply with a copy and paste message. I listed professional equestrian clippers and they removed the listing and said they were electronic pet grooming products. This isn’t correct and there are at least 240 listings out the for equestrian clippers. Vinted ignore that. Honestly….. customer service is really bad. It’s like just banging your head against a brick wall. They simply don’t care.
It had asked me to put my phone number…
It had asked me to put my phone number in, and wouldn’t let me back into my account until I did bear in mind I have £70 pending. I entered my phone number and has said that it’s being used on a different account?!? This is my only account so someone has stole my phone number. I tried adding my mothers on there because I was slowly getting paranoid and it still wouldn’t work. I am fuming this better be sorted because I really need that money!
I ordered a item which Evri damaged in…
I ordered a item which Evri damaged in transit I took a picture to prove this and I still had to wait 25 business days before I can get a refund , Was not interested in the fact that it was not going to be delivered .
Clear out and make money
Having a massive clearout ! Using vinted is helping making it easier as I sell I can see the benefits in my bank balance ! This motivation makes me to keep going
Banned by bots for selling my own items
I am absolutely disgusted by Vinted's automated system and non-existent customer service. I am a regular buyer and seller, not a shop. I love makeup and buy many beauty boxes, and I simply resell the items that don't suit my skin tone or texture so they don't go to waste. I sell them WAY below retail price-l make zero profit from this.
My account was hit with a 5-day ban for "commercial activity" simply because I took the time to make beautiful, styled, clean photos so my page looked nice for buyers. Doing it well got me punished.
To make it worse, I submitted an appeal and it was rejected within ONE SECOND. No human being could have possibly read my message in that time.
It was a bot response.
Meanwhile, Vinted had no shame in keeping my hard-earned money for the item
"Boosts" I had paid for right before the ban.
They block my sales, steal my
boost money, but "kindly" allow me to keep buying from them during the ban? Unbelievable greed.
I was a loyal customer who bought and sold on Vinted. This is now the last place on earth I will ever buy anything from. I am moving to another platform that actually respects its community.
Horrible, robotic, and unfair experience.
Pathetic

You WILL be scammed using this platform and when you do Vinted will ban your account for being pissed off with the scammer. It's AI is appalling, customer service is worse and they offer no help when you do inevitably get scammed. DO NOT USE THIS PLATFORM
