Been a customer for Years. Didn't Expect this.
I have been a customer for Years and during that time I have ask for one credit Increase. Yesterday 1/10/24 I called T.S.C. to increase my credit limit from $2900.00 to $6000.00 and they turned me down. I have always Paid Early, before the payment was even due. I have Perfect credit and I can walk Into My Bank that I have been at for almost 30 years and Borrow $10,000 with nothing but a signature. I own my Home, Car, Truck, Trike, Trailers, $ 40,000 Plus In Tools, and a lot more. I have 3 loans at the time and one I do every year will be paid off this year. Another I will have a year left on, and the last one will be 2 years. My credit score has been 7 something to the highest score of 8 something. And yet they turn me down for a $3100.00 Increase. I wasn't to happy with that, so I called back and told them to close my account out for good, If that's the way there going to treat me as a valuable customer for years. They may not know It, but they have lost more than just us, They have lost anywhere from 600 to up to a 1000
customers. They will see and feel It before this year Is up, and more than that, likely a Lot more when word gets out to all the people we know and that they know as well on how thy have treated us on this mater. They have no CLUE just who we are and all the people that we associate with and do Business with. We don't have to put up with this kind of Treatment, and we want. To many other places to do Business at to where they Treat you like they Appreciate your Business. I Think It's Sad that they would Treat anyone this way. Myself and My Wife have worked all of are Lives, we are In our late 60,s and we are both Retired and have always paid T.S.C. better than most ever would, always Early. I do Not feel this Is fair to us or anyone else, I hope they back up and re-group on there way of treating there customers, Especially the ones who do as we have. This is the worst company to shop on they have the worst return policy they charge you a fee if you return something. They lie on their description of items so you can buy it and then they don’t refund you your entire money.

Order NOT Cancelled
I ordered an item on Dec 24 it has not been shipped and my credit card has not been charged. The item is still in their warehouse and the order cannot be cancelled.
Spoke to a TSC Rep (Lisa) on Dec 31 and was told they cannot cancel the order still in their warehouse and was eventually hung up on. Unacceptable customer service.

So normally working at Rogers we get a $50 prepaid credit card as a thank you working at Rogers. This year 2023 we got a $35 tsc giftcard the majority of agents complained about this as tsc charges insane prices and with very few products that we actually want. But I decided to order something from TSC as I didn't exactly want to waste the $35 gift card.
The product says shipped and the tracking number they gave me was a fraudulent tracking number. I waited several days just to make sure and the courier on their site the tracking number provides no information absolutely nothing. So there goes my $35 gift card

I only gave TSC 1 out of 5 because there was no other option. This company even does not deserve a 1 star. My rating is below 0, may be -5. The company doesn't know what customer service means. I will never purchase another product from these bunch of thieves. All customer service associates are rude and unprofessional. I purchased an expensive Breville Kettle from them and received a used one instead of a new. Furthermore it was showing temperature in Fahrenheit instead of Centigrade. That means it was not even for use in Canada. I called customer service multiple times and they always provided wrong information. This is the worst company to buy anything from. The best course of action for me is to file a complaint with the consumer protection department to expose these thieves.

I only gave a 1 out of 5 cause there was no other option. The compamy doesnt deserve a 1.. my rating is below 0. The company doesn't know what customer service means. I will never purchase another product from these thieves again. TSC doesn't have customer service in their vocabulary. They don't know what it means. I purchased an expensive pair of hush puppies boots and returned them cause they were to small. Brand new and they wouldn't return them and wouldn't give me my money back... and if i wanted the new boots back i would have to pay the shipping costs..The worst company to buy anything from. I can share my full story but I'm still disgusted with the amount of time I spent on the phone with these theives this year and the lies I was told. No customer service. No one should buy anything from them because they will rip you off and lie to your face

They cancelled my order without my knowledge, did not send an email or phonecall, the items are gifts. My $ was paid and then they said that I owe them for something from 2021??? It's my first time ordering anything from them!! Never again!!
We ordered a PS5 and a VR headset
We ordered a PS5 and a VR headset. It arrived around October 10th. The product was received water damaged. The damage was acknowledged by Canada post with a notice stating product was received in a damaged condition. The shipping box was saturated with water. The PS5 was water damaged, and the promised extra controller was missing. Originally, I was happy with the promise of getting a replacement. 3 weeks pass and no replacement. I reached out to TSC for an update and was advised that the product was received, but they were waiting to hear back from their vendor. I was offered a refund, I accepted on November 9th. Was told a refund would be received within 7-10 business days. December 1st still no refund. Contacted TSC again, was told I had to speak with the escalation department. Was transferred, and the call was disconnected. Called back in again, was told they escalation department was too busy. I was told a case needed to be opened. December 13th, still no refund, no call back from TSC. Called them and was told they had to transfer me to the escalation department again. The call was disconnected again. Called in again. Was again told to speak with the escalation team. Again the call was disconnected. The frustration with dealing with this company has grown. The communication is terrible at best if existent at all. I have never had issues with dealing with TSC before this. This will be the last time. My advice would be to do some research before buying. If you run into issues with your purchase, good luck getting any sort of resolution.
Problems with shipping
Honestly the overall experience is horrible. I think the company is serious, they really sent a package, but the big problem with this company is the management of shipments. I use a Canada Post Flex Delivery PO Box. The problem is that TSC doesn't seem to know which delivery company they are going to use. They could use Canada Post, or a competitor. TSC accepted my order with the PO box when ordering. Note that I expected problems with the PO Box, and I contacted TSC to raise the issue, and to change the address BEFORE shipping. TSC's system being what it is, they used FleetOptics, a competitor of Canada Post, and FleetOptics attempted to deliver the order to the PO Box even if I called TSC to change the address. Since FleetOptics could not deliver the order, they simply returned the package to TSC. And after more than two weeks the package is stucked somewhere, as indicated by the tracking number, considered returned to the sender. I had to open a case with Paypal, that agreed to look into the situation. They communicated with TSC, but with TSC offering slow and inefficient customer service, even Paypal is not able to have effective communication with TSC. I think TSC has very serious logistical problems. Paypal said the order was warranted and I should eventually be reimbursed. Order was on November 13 and we are December 8.
Apple I-Pad 10 Bundle
I-Pad was fine, but bundle components were cheap knockoffs. The earbuds were wired and the 10th generation Apple I-Pad is wireless only with no plug in port. The screen protector was opaque milky and yes the film was removed. The stylus and keyboard were Chinese knockoffs. All bundle components are NOT APPLE. I contacted customer service and they said they shipped what was advertised and I could return it. If you buy this you will need to purchase all the correct components of the bundle at another store. Complete waste of time.

Will Never Purchase from TSC Again
I ordered a TV via the company's website for Black Friday. After a week and a half of the order not being processed, I had to phone to inquire as to why my order was not being process. It took approximately 45 minutes on the phone to get any sort of answer. Upon discussion with the customer service rep, I was told that they would execute the order within one business day.
The next day I checked my order online to see the progress only to find that my item was backordered and there was no date in which to expect the TV. Again, I spent another 30+ minutes on the phone with their customer service team because I received no communication regarding my TV being on backorder. It was during this call that due to TSC's failure to execute the order, that they over sold the product, and it was no longer available. The customer service rep promised to investigate the issue and resolve it. I was also promised that the issue would be rectified, and I would receive a call the next day. However, no call was received. The only communication I received was an template email the following day that the item wasn't available and instructing me to call in to cancel the order. The customer service rep simply stated that it’s not their problem and effectively stated tough luck. They offered no options for resolution. I therefore had to spend another 30+ minutes on the phone trying to cancel the order.

Unaccurate info on website
I appreciate the convenience of purchasing from TSC, but I've encountered unsatisfactory service and inaccuracies in their website information. Despite the website indicating that my order from November 21 was shipped on the 24th, it hasn't been shipped even after eight business days. The delivery, which was confirmed by their agent when I placed the order, was supposed to be completed by now. It's disheartening that they provided false information to secure the order.
TSC.CA is pure sleaze
TSC.CA is pure sleaze. They show you a price, you click Place Order, they bill you a higher price, that's fraud. Customer service will not/cannot issue a credit or cancel order because it's at the warehouse?!, but open a Case# and someone will callback in 2-3 business days. Of course no one will call. The reason why they ask you your phone number when you call them is that they sell your Email/Phone# to Telemarketers and other criminal enterprises. Unsubscribe. Never order from them again. Tell everyone you know what they did to you. End of story. Shame.
Horrible customer service.
We ordered a Dyson vacuum and a MacBook. Made payments, order was confirmed. We waited for shipping for 4-5 days to find out from courier company that the order was cancelled. We had to CALL and spend 30 minutes on the phone to get nothing. Not an apology, not a credit or some kind of customer retention offer. The fact that we had to call them and to find out what is going on….it’s unreal how poor their customer retention is. I’ve been a client for over 10 years and spent countless dollars with them. I’m done and I’ll shop somewhere else thank you very much.
Tsc wouldn't process my final payment…
Tsc wouldn't process my final payment of $50 and I tried numerous times to make this payment. Each time customer service tells me it's all sorted and when the payment will come out, but it never does. Now I keep getting letters in the mail telling me my payment will be going to collections and the amount I owe keeps going up (now at $150). This is absurd, and I will never be using this company again.
I returned a sweater with no refund.
I returned a sweater which was bought using paypal. They sent me an email stating my refund was being issued. Two weeks later, still nothing. So I called. The young man with customer service was nice and found out that that Paypal denied the refund!! What?? I’ve used Paypal for years without issue. So now they said they would issue a cheque, which will take 4-6 weeks! When I said that was unacceptable, and asked to speak to a manager, no one would talk to me. Not sure I will ever get my money back, until I get the bank involved. I will never purchase anything from TSC again!!
