REFUND

A couple of months ago a mistake was made by lil nephew who somehow clicked and subscribed to Trueplay with he himself not knowing as he saw some sneaker he wanted.I found my account being deducted money I was not aware of and upon discovering this, I contacted the company and a gentleman by the name of Eugene was kind enough to listen to my story and guaranteed me my refund. I’d like to praise and thank Eugene for his patience while I explained the story and for sticking to his word regarding the refund.

friendly customer response

There was an error on the screen of subscribing to the site and paying, so I asked for cancellation, but an additional payment was made a few days later, so I inquired.
A counselor responded quickly and kindly.
If it wasn't for his help, he would never have been able to solve it or find the content by himself.
It would be nice if there were clear cancellations and refunds on the product page for users to find.

I tried to buy something online but it kept asking me to approve payment so i cancelled it as was to wary but now it’s saying i have a subscription and will take 48.30€ in 3 days i have tried to cancel but don’t know what is happening beware this is a Scam…AVOID!!

I pay for a special from Temu online shop.It shows on my bank account but Temu shop know of nothing. There is not such a special at there online shopping platforms

I see a special from Temu onlineshopping. I respond to it and pay my R38 fee just to find out from Temu there isn't such a special with them

Subscriptions taken out that I wasn't aware of but Trueplay advised me that I would be refunded the full amount and the process would be delt with immediately. Very helpful telephone conversation

Dishonest

UPDATE: Following my review from 5 days ago, I have been contacted by Trueplay to refund me the charged sum, therefore, for their prompt assistance, I will change my rating to 4 stars.
I have tried to buy on item and the transaction was denied. Straight away, I have received an email from Trueplay that I have subscribed for a gold membership and will be charged at the end of the month. Got chatting with someone and been promised a cancellation on the said subscription, even received an email of confirmation. When checking my bank account, I have discovered that Ive been charged 8.80£. Really annoyed with all this situation because at no point I have been informed about this subscription. If I would have known, I would have not accepted. Its fair to inform people so they can make their own choices.
Tomorrow will try to get back in touch with them to get my money back. Its not a fortune, but I dont agree with their style.
My advice to everyone, stay away from dodgy sites and definetely away from Trueplay.

2. Subscription plans automatically renew, but users have the option to cancel with a 14-day notice via the personal account or customer service.

3. Immediate cancellation without the 14-day notice is available by selecting this option in the personal account and making a final payment of 9.70€.

4. Upon cancellation, access to content ceases at the end of the billing cycle, and users can switch between content plans at any time.

5. Difficulties accessing digital content due to email provider or mail server issues can be addressed by our customer service team.

6. Trial periods are offered, and users must cancel before the trial ends to avoid future charges.

7. Occasionally, TruePlay.digital offers free or discounted temporary periods for content access plans.

Fraud scammers

Who are they keep getting debited everyother day blocked card but they still do it so that's pointless the bank has refunded me because they keep letting them take it does not appear in direct debit or standing order but they keep taking 16.99 every 2days the bank has closed that account and made a new one for me and even set up all direct debits I approved I have never even heard of this company the only thing I done before it started was I signed up for temu. Quick up date they tried to blackmail me into changing my review to a min of 3 stars and give a positive feed back then they will refund the money they stole I have it in email them saying they will give the money back after I change my review but I refuse to if anybody would like to see the emails just ask I will forward to you as proof they tried to blackmail me

In the event that you wish to cancel your membership plan, There are two options;
- You can cancel the membership service without incurring extra fees if remain with the current membership for an extended period of thirty (30) days starting the date of the request, or

- You can cancel the membership service with immediate effect by paying 6.95 EUR

However, on checking, I can see you were not charged that amount.

Trueplay.Digital is a pure scam operation!

Warning: Trueplay.Digital is a scam!

On April 13th 2023, I received an email apparently signed by Fedex (yes, I know, I should have checked more thoroughly..), stating that Fedex had failed to deliver a package to me as I was not at home. Since I expected a shipment via Fedex at the time, I didn't have any initial doubt about this email. The email contained a link to a site where I apparently could set a time of the next delivery attempt. This process included a Eur 2 payment to Trueplay.Digital, which I thought would be OK if it meant that I could set the delivery time down to the nearest hour.
It also meant that I had some sort of membership of the site.

A couple of days later, Gmail put the mail correspondence in the spam folder, and I finally discovered that the email was not from Fedex at all! On April 16th, Trueplay.Digital charged me an additional Eur 6.95, (for no apparent reason).
I wrote an email to Trueplay.Digital to cancel my membership, and have the latest charge refunded. I sent 3-4 emails complaining and asking about their behaviour. They refused to refund anything.
Their reply is typically like:

"Your request (1659733) has been updated. To add additional comments, reply to this email.

Dear A...,

Thank you for contacting us!

Our goal is to provide you with the best customer service as possible and to ensure your 100% satisfaction.

Please be aware that as explained in our Terms and Conditions the cancellation fee is a non refundable charge.

This fee of 6.95EUR is the membership cancellation fee for opting out of your 14-days subscription cycle.
What I can do for you today is confirm the account is cancelled and no future charges will be billed to you. The cancellation fee is the ONLY charge that will be charged at this time.

Thank you for being a valued customer.

Please let us know if you have any questions and we will be happy to assist!

Kind Regards,

Jonah Customer Support"

The so called "cancellation fee" was charged before I sent my cancellation-email, by the way.

Since I paid with my VISA-card (or rather "was scammed through my VISA card"), I had to cancel and re-order my card for security reasons.

PS:
Note that Trueplay.Digital offers to refund (some of) the money in exchange for better reviews (3 stars or better). This is clearly written in some of the reviews on this page on Trustpilot, and I also got such an email from them. I refused to give in. Trueplay.Digital behaves like a corrupt entity.
