Crooks & Charlatans

This company is attempting to defraud its customers of refunds due from airlines. They took from Nov 17th 2020 up until June 25th 2021 to refund me £1413.58 that Virgin had given them on or about the date the flight was cancelled in Nov 2020. The ONLY way to get them to refund the money is to send a "letter before action" demanding the money is returned. You need to have kept all of your emails etc. and be prepared if need be to use the small claims court to get your money back. Examples of "letters before action" can be found at Citizens Advice and the Gov't online Small Claims process is pretty easy and affordable at about £80. IF YOU ARE THINKING OF BOOKING WITH THIS COMPANY THEN THINK AGAIN. In fact, while the Pandemic continues but direct from the airline.

Awaiting refund for 19 months!

Travelpack is the worst travel agent and tour operating company I have ever come across. We have been waiting for a refund for 19 months now (Booking ref. U70471). The airline (Oman Air) has confirmed that they have returned the money to Travelpack on 11th March 2021. Why you are not willing to give our money back? It is £2200.00! Every time I contact Travelpack, they come up with a lame excuse and extend the refund date. Very poor customer service. 😢

Do not use this company

Do not use this company. All the bad reviews are correct. They sent us on a wild goose chase to recover costs after we had to cut or holiday short in March of 2020 due to the pandemic. Now we are met with radio silence. Shocking company.

terrible and no responsibility

I had to cancel a trip due to covid 19 which was covered by BA’s offer of future voucher, but was subject to being handled by the travel agency. They refused to take responsibility and were extremely rude. I tried disputing the transaction but was unsuccessful. I will never book with them again. It is better to pay extra and be covered by a respectful flight operator than being treated disrespectfully by agents who hang up the phone on you or never respond to emails

Extremely disappointed!

Absolute disgrace of a company!! Our flight was cancelled April 2020 due to covid. We asked for a refund and was told it will will take a few weeks..... after over a year of waiting, continuous emails and constantly being fobbed off by them, we finally went down the route of a small claims court...... Hey presto within a fortnight Our refund was given back to us, and they also had to pay the court costs. We Will never use this company again.

Absolute total scumbags and quite…

Absolute total scumbags and quite possibly breaking the law. I am still trying to get my refund 12 months later after they massively messed up the booking and failed to tell me. They never reply, customer service is nonexistent. Disgusting. Criminals. Fraud. Avoid at all costs.

Contact your bank to get your refund

I have had the same experience with Travelpack as a lot of people who are leaving reviews. Any contact you make with them will be an opportunity for them to make you wait for something to happen but it's a hoax. This company is being run in a shameful and dishonest way with a total disregard for its customers. I don't understand how a regulator has not massively fined or shut it down by now.
They have no intention of giving you your refund, you cannot leave it with them - CONTACT YOUR BANK, share the emails showing how you're being strung along and let them pursue it for you and you should get the whole amount back, no admin rubbish.
To me it shows that Trustpilot is not something that you can trust either because the rating doesn't reflect all the reviews that I'm seeing from people who are being bullied.

AVOID THIS PATHETIC SHOWER

I would strongly advise any customer to avoid this shower at all costs. I am still awaiting a refund from our October flights despite weekly correspondence and their original 10 week promise - we are now over SEVEN months on and still they refuse to refund our money.

Worst customer service I ever received

Worst customer service I ever received. My refund has been pending since November 2020 when I was told it’ll take 10 weeks. More than six months later, i am still waiting for it. Every time I call them they give me a new date bu which the refund should be processed, and of course that never happens. So the next time I call they have usually ‘been too busy’ or ‘not able to do it over the weekend’ and give me yet another date which yet again they never meet. Not only that but they’re withholding £30 per passenger fee which I wouldn’t really mind paying if I was receiving good value for the service I’m receiving which os clearly not the case. Absolutely appalling

Completely awful been trying for a…

Completely awful been trying for a refund since November emailing them every month and getting a generic BS reply which is probably automatic.

As some other on her had to cancel due to covid and was told my them I had to cancel as they wouldn’t (this was the day before I was due to travel) then promptly charged me 30 quid for the pleasure.

Booked a flight last year

Booked a flight last year, was told id get vouchers due to covid cancelling, never heard anything back whilst continuously asking. Letter just came through from the bank for my dispute with them 6 months after everything was settled saying they did not want me to issue me a refund. I called and asked for my vouchers where they proceeded to hang up on me. Avoid this company at all cost.

Not worth the headache!

If everything goes well no reason not to book with these for a slightly reduced price. HOWEVER, it is absolutely worth paying a bit more to book directly with the airline to save the infinite headache they become as soon as changes need to be made. I am still waiting on a refund do a flight due to occur on the mid February, it is now the 13th May. During this time they have not responded to emails at all. Absolutely terrible customer service and I cannot recommend that you avoid this company enough.

Scammers

Scammers - worst customer experience in the world.
Booked with them tickets to Sri Lanka which roughly cost £700. Flight was canceled because of Covid in April 2020. It is May 2021 now and I am still to get my refund over a year after. They always drag their feet in replying and their excuses are generic and inconsistent. Might as well reply with "generic excuse" instead of wasting time writing an actual email.

The worst experience ever!! AVOID at all cost!

The worst experience ever! Our flights were cancelled due to Covid back in May 2020 we had requested for a refund and have been chasing for over a year with very generic responses requesting for more time adn that they are working on it. I have submitted a formal complaint to the ATBA who they are registered with. I then called up to chase for them to say our refund was never confirmed from us! I was extremely frustrated and requested to speak to a manager to which I was told they could not put me through. A very poorly managed company who are clearly continuing to take peoples money as they are allowing bookings. I will keep chasing!

Travel pack are thieves, DON'T BOOK WITH THEM.
Travelpack didn't refund me for my cancelled flight. It was cancelled last April due to covid. I have wated for more than a year. The response to every email was slow, with a very weak excuse for the delay in the refund. In short, they don't want to refund the money instead when I asked for a voucher, they immediatly resopnse. Though all flights in there website are now more expensive than other agencies. If I could give them no stars I would to.

Never refund my money back

I bought my flight ticket on 2019, and book my flight on 2020sep, but because COVID they have cancel my flight, and they ask me to pay extra 1200 pounds to rebook my flight, so it’s too expensive and I have to cancel my flight, so In the end I decided have to cancel my flight, and they promised the refund will back to me in 3 month, guess what..., it’s 2021 May now already, after pass 7 month and there is no refund back at all.., I feel no trust this travel company, reference No: U65500

Update: I just got my flight money back
After ask my Amx to help me on this, anyone have the same issue might worth a try to contact your creator card company to get help.

There should be a 0 for these clowns. Waiting on a refund for well over a year now. Even given the circumstances of the pandemic it shouldn't be this long. Keep getting fed the same excuses and now they're just ignoring me. Poor customer service skills too. Definitely stay away and put your hard earned money elsewhere.
