To address your question regarding the credit card error and the price change: we completely understand why this feels like a trick, but it is a real-time inventory limitation. When a credit card transaction fails or times out, it is usually because the airline's backend system is updating the live "fare bucket" at that exact millisecond. If the specific low-fare seat disappears before the payment gateway finalises, the system rejects the charge because that exact fare is no longer available to ticket.
