I won 3 items at this above auction items where never sent to me!
After 3 weeks I rang them and was told they had sent them to the wrong buyer (easy mistake I thought) and I have them the following week (this was Chloe, that spoke too) still nothing, no contact to say why so I tried ringing again and no one seemed to know anything and Chloe wasn’t in that day or had just left ! Anyway eventually got to speak to Chloe again on Friday and was informed my lots wasn’t still there and very unlikely I would receive them (had no contact about this and if I hadn’t rang them properly never would!) so I asked for a possible refund I was told I SHOULD THINK SO! Not a definite yes! But was told she can’t refund herself so would pass it on! It’s now 4 days on still no refund! No response to my emails! And of course no news!
Eventually further this being posted on there facebook page I was sent this email!

Firstly my apologies for the delay in returning your messages, as always we are chasing our tails from one auction to the next.

I understand you have spoken with Chloe in regards to your lots purchased, and she explained 2hat had happened, we are still having a problem with the person who took your items not returning them, I understand Chloe has phone scores of times to which the buyer keeps promising but won't pack them or post them.

However she has said that you have been very patient and understanding regarding the whole episode, Chloe has only been with us for 4 weeks now
STILL NO REFUND!
My posted as been deleted off there facebook & they have block me !
Avoid these at all cost, I’m now personally taking legal action in the courts against them!

After mentioning the legal action a refund was eventually received after over 5 weeks, as for being accused of a slanderous review and being aggressive it seems my review is here to read for yourself ! I received several wotsapp messages from the Mrs Tong that became almost harassment to demanding I remove my original review (I’ve all these messages saved) so can easily recall the whole conversation ? They started to be quite threatening and insulting so hence I stopped and blocked her on wotsapp because of this reason as I couldn’t see it actually achieving any positive point and actually became quite upset and worried.
I would definitely avoid using this company!!

They sold two items for me on the 18th of July after numerous phone calls to them and being fobbed off with “it’s being sorted and the payment will be made tomorrow at last they finally paid September the 8th.
Will never go near them again.

Local to us auction house. Have bid on quite a few items during their auctions. Decided to sell some items. Total sold over two auctions came to approx £60. We received the email with the price of sold items. We waited and waited. Now nearly three months down the line. Tried phoning. No answer. Went and spoke to an employee who texted them. Promise of a phone call back, which never came. Just emailed them again. Awaiting a reply. Looks like small claims court action is about to be started.

Great company had issues with one of my bids and they sorted it out straight away very helpful customer service and great auction !!

I have been bidding and winning lots at Tongs for about 8 months now, I have participated in both their timed and live auctions. Overall I have been very happy with my purchases, their communication and helpfulness.

Delivery was efficient and reasonable. There were a few items that they were unable to arrange delivery and I had to arrange collection but understandable because of the item's weight and dimensions.

Love this Auction House, friendly, helpful and always somethings to bid in my interest. The online auction is fun too. Every couple of weeks.

Unprofessional people who had my first google review deleted. When I reposted they accused me of lying and being slanderous by saying I only asked for the item not to go into auction until after it had been sold. As I can’t find how to post the various emails and proof on here, I can advice you to look up Tongs Auction House where you will find the physical evidence which proves I was telling the truth all along! I believe in giving people second chances while still warning others to be mindful, however their accusations toward myself which were blatant lies were so upsetting I’ve gone the extra mile by putting them on trustpilot! Well done TAH. Review left by HP. Showing photographic evidence of a shell which they auctioned in September a whole month after I told them I would need to place a reserve on it before it went to auction. The emails show how they assigned other peoples property to myself as well as losing some of my auction items. Also how I tried and tried to telephone them but had to give up because their message box was full and wouldn’t allow further messages to be left.
