“Be careful”

“Be careful, they put up their commission from 20% to 29% quietly and without announcing”
I bid on their website for 3 picture frames and beads, my pictures frames arrived smashed. I called the office and they denied responsibilities!
My beads arrived from far east office after 3 weeks later and was charged £28 for a wooden beads, weighing not more than an oz, cheap and looked nothing like what discretion.
Their service along with customer service dropped recently.

Purchased an antique Tibetan bracelet…

Purchased an antique Tibetan bracelet from Cadmore, had to wait postage several weeks from the Vietnam office. Well nearly fell off my chair with laughter, what arrived was a 50 pence worth of fashion jewellery, returned and refunded. How does this actually happen ?
But that's not why I stay away, nor is it the amount of cheap pieces sold as something special when most are fake or at best poor imitation.
No it's the racial insults and slurs during his auction towards Native Americans whilst trying to sell NA items, quite disgusting really. Being as my ancestral roots are NA, I complained to Easylive but they aren't interested as long as they make £££ .

Bidding online. The first time i bid on their auction i…

The first time i bid on their auction i was informed i had won and i was sent an invoice which i paid. The item did not arrive so i called and was told that i had not won even though i explained i had an invoice and had paid. It then took them over two weeks to repay me. I have then seen an item i would like to bid on which i have registered for and paid my £3 pre bid registration for and have now found that my details have been deleted? I should have listened to myself after the first disaster to never use this auction house ever again. They are useless.

Sent a Easylive bid for £80 + 1 =£90

Sent a Easylive bid for £80 + 1. Item sells for £90. Assume it is mine. Asked for an invoice and have been ignored. Obviously this place is being run by a total ignoramus in my opinion. To ignorant to even reply to my email message!

unethical business practice

I bought a few items and, unfortunately, around 50% of them arrived with significant damage that was not described in the item listings. Some of the items weren’t even in a resellable condition. This is a huge disappointment when you’ve spent your hard-earned money expecting a fair deal.

They also use misleading descriptions to make items seem like name-brand products when they’re not. It feels like they are intentionally trying to deceive buyers, which comes across as a scam.

If something seems too good to be true, it probably is. They send an invoice just minutes after the auction ends, even if the auction ran for multiple days — so you barely have time to double-check anything.

I understand now why I got scammed. Don’t let yourself be the next victim.

Disingenuous at best

Ive used this auction site a few times and never had a problem but last purchase was damaged. When it arrived I got in touch and told them that it was clearly damaged when sold. I was told description stated A/F - all very well but they KNEW it was damaged and should have had the integrity to state this. They said you could see it in the photo - not clearly no. Refused to consider repair/refund. Very disappointed with their attitude and integrity
