The service at Toast with the my order process, has been exceptionally good. I complicated things by deciding on a second product after placing my 'first' order, which coincidentally would give me free shipping. They took care of the process seamlessly.

I placed an order on 28 December 2025 and received an order confirmation on the same day. £3 delivery fee was charged with a promise that the order would be delivered (not just dispatched) within 3–4 working days (as clearly stated on their website).
On 1 January 2026, I emailed for an update and on the following day, I was told the order was delayed but would be dispatched shortly. By 4 January, there was still no progress despite the stated delivery timeframe (excluding weekends and public holidays), so I requested a cancellation.
On 5 January, they replied saying their delivery policy was actually 4–5 working days, despite it’s not what I see on their website. Even though the order was dispatched on 5 January—already 5 working days later—this still didn’t meet the delivery timeframe I was charged for.
They also suggested that if I wanted to cancel, the order would still be dispatched. I then received a dispatch code, which I confirmed with them over email on 5 January.
The order was returned and received by them on 8 January. Today is 19 January, and I haven’t still received any confirmation regarding my refund.
Despite charging premium prices, the service is appalling and completely unacceptable. I have no idea when my refund will be processed, even though the order was never delivered and was returned to them awhile ago. This has been an extremely frustrating experience, and never again purchasing anything from this brand.
Avoid at all costs.

I ordered 2 items in the sale which were in stock in my size. I received a confirmation of my order and my payment was taken. I then received a notice that only one item had been dispatched. Following this, I received another email from Toast apologising and saying they cannot send the second item. There apparently was a system error which led to the piece I had ordered appearing in stock when it had already been sold. I have been told that I will receive a refund in 3-5 days. This error has happened to me on a previous occasion, an item that is showing in stock is not available. I am very unhappy, especially as Toast has taken the money from my account when the item is not in stock. I would expect more from a company that does much of its business online. Toast's ordering system should be fit for purpose and customers should not have money taken from their accounts for items that are not available and then have to wait for a refund. This error makes me seriously think twice about ordering from Toast again and recommending to others.

I do like Toast clothing , especially when the sale is on but would never order on line again.
It was the first order I placed in the sales, late on Christmas Day & the last one I received-and to date I haven’t had a refund - again the last one.
Sadly as it was my biggest purchase it’s particularly annoying to be out of pocket so long . I’m sure for Toast it was a very small order & clearly not worthy of any attention.
The process wasn’t helped by the item being shipped despite my asking for it to be recalled as per toasts instructions, to avoid delivery, and being told this was going to happen & of course it was delivered then I had to faff around returning it.
A lot of time wasted & not a great on line shopping experience.

I’m shocked to see this companies reviews are sooo bad overall given the product is lovely. My experience seems in line with my others where slow to no delivery and bad customer service leaves me disgruntled.
Three weeks for items to arrive, no follow up from customer service.

I ordered £1300 worth of clothes on 22nd Dec, it was posted as Tracked 48 with compensation coverage up to £75. I think if I was having an iPhone delivered at the same value a signed for or more secure postage system would've been used. As of today, 3rd January I still don't have my parcel, and I have no idea when it will arrive. Basically a high value parcel could just be left somewhere next week when I'm at work, if it arrives at all. Customer service are maintaining that they have used correct postage; and to add there was no option to choose a signed for service at checkout. I'm worried now that I'll be £1300 out of pocket because of this.
This is the 3rd time there has been significant delay this year, over the Summer on a next day delivery, and an express delivery for a Christmas present ordered on 17th Dec that arrived on 27th.

I ordered two items from Toast recently, only to receive an email stating that both items were out of stock and that my entire order would need to be cancelled. While I understand that stocking issues happen, one of these 'out of stock' items is - as of 3 days later - still available on the Toast website in the size I had originally ordered, so I am completely unclear on why that part of the order was cancelled. Furthermore, I was charged in full for this order and then refunded the incorrect (insufficient) amount, which I then had to chase Toast to rectify - which they have done with lukewarm acknowledgment of the error. All in all - a sub par customer experience, which as a repeat customer, has left me feeling somewhat annoyed.

I bought the Bryn Herb Print Dress dress from the branch on Lambs Conduit street and the shop assistant was wonderful, very helpful and pleasant. (Have been to the Redchurch Street branch before which is a bit chaotic, and the service very patchy. The changing rooms are freezing cold too).
The Bryn dress is wonderful, a vibrant rich blue, and a very flattering style, pleated over the stomach area, but hangs well over the shoulders. I tried on the large and medium, but there wasn't much in it, so I bought the medium. Very happy with it.
Ordered a present for my wife. Website said “order by 11pm for delivery by Christmas” which I did. Notification days later to say it would be delivered on 27th. Talked to customer service and they were absolutely hopeless. A lot of “sorry you feel this way” and no action taken at all to help me. Won’t be using them again. A very expensive scam.

I see your response, which is untrue. I got a notification when I bought it saying delivery expected on 27th, so it was never going to arrive in time, but you only let me know AFTER I bought the item.

I love Toast. I do buy a lot from here, clothes and home, the quality is, almost all of time, high and any issues resolved. I tend to pay for next day, as then I know it’s DHL, otherwise it does take a few days with Royal Mail, who do leave on the doorstep if you’re not home (not Toast’s fault though). Returns always good, and always enjoy my store visits. Thanks Toast for my Kindred gift yesterday.
I usually love this brand as they use quality materials and everything has an organic feel which is why I don't usually mind spending a little more on their things ( hence the one star) but recently I purchased their grey Rototo alpaca beanie which was a wopping £85 , yes! Expensive like all other toast products but I stupidly thought it would be worth it. When it arrives I wear it on and I think ' this feels a bit loose ' then I head out to do the school drop off and the beanie almost flys off my head!! And when I wore it back on it was pointless as I could feel the wind blowing between my cap and my hair!! My head was freezing as it was a cold and windy day today. Luckily I had enough time to return back home and change into my slightly less expensive £50 beanie that felt snug and warm. Being utterly disappointed I emailed asking for some sort of recompense but was told since id worn it already there was nothing that could be done. Also was told the fine print says it's got a 61 cm circumference ( which is a very large head indeed, more the size of my husban's head) so I should have known better apparently. Really bitterly disappointed as I'm a die hard toast fan.
