E mailed Questions and was answered back promptly and with the answer. The product was listed as used but it came bran new. They did a hell of a job.. Had my TIPM for a couple of days, it fixed the problem and car electrical is perfect. Real easy to do yourself.

The customer service is excellent, and quick turn around!!

Sent my TIPM in to MAKS to fix BOTH the fuel pump issue AND a problem with the low speed fan relay circuit. Order # REP-616831. Initially I thought that the Low Speed Fan Relay hadn't been fixed because it appeared to test the same as before I had sent it but upon re-installing it the problem seems to have been resolved. Have driven about 100 miles so far without the check engine light re-appearing. The reason I am still only giving three stars is that I have found the communication with MAKS to be absolutely terrible. I repeatedly asked for feedback and confirmation on what service had been performed on the TIPM and never received anything in return. I'm glad that the module is repaired (so far) but the overall experience wasn't confidence inspiring in any way.

Part was looking very new and clean. Pothier’s had know problem installing to get my truck programmed to my key module! Runs beautifully again!

These guys are AMAZING! They made it so easy to process the TIPM repair. Life got away from me, and I didn't get around to sending my TIPM in for a long time. A couple of employees from Mak's checked in with me to make sure I was still interested in processing it, giving me all of the information I needed and an updated shipping label. They were super supportive. Once I sent it in, the repair was processed almost immediately, and I got a thorough summary of everything they found. My TIPM was returned promptly, and now works great! HIGHLY recommend Mak's! One of the best business experiences I've ever had.

I should have written this in March as that would have marked the one year anniversary of installing a TIPM in my 2017. I'd struggled with a very intermittent "no start" problem for over a year. I had to have the car towed once only to have it start the next day at my mechanics. The Jeep dealer was not helpful at all. They could run a diagnostic for $200 but if there were no codes logged they could only guess.

I was about to trade the Jeep in when I came across your website. I had isolated my problem down to TIPM, starter, solenoid or associated wiring. After reading everything on your website I thought a rebuilt TIPM from you would be a good bet. Well, that one paid off. The instructions that came with your part were perfect. The packing, return, and core exchange made the project flawless. But the best part, in 15 months since I installed your part 68251626AC I haven't had one instance where the car wouldn't start.

Thank you for such a great product and support. I love the Jeep and didn't want to sell it. I'm finally not worried that when it shuts off at a light or when I go to start it that I won't hear the sound of that engine turning over.

Tipm replacement was super cool, a 🐒 monkey could have done it, possibly a cave man lol,all went great ty again for fixing my 2005 3500 ram

Doesnt work. Should've only been charged a bench test fee. They found a bad fuel pump relay, replaced it, so they could keep the money, the vehicle doesn't use that relay because of a recall that eliminated it . I explained all this but i guess they don't read english very well. What a waste of time and money.

The updates that where given from the timed you received it to the repair and then when it was delivered was outstanding!! Part has been installed all seem to be working again, Thank you Thank you!

The TIPM they send you will fail. It may take a day a week or a month, but it will fail. Then they send you another TIPM that will fail. And continue to do so until the warranty runs out and you have a bad TIPM and no more support. No refunds available.

Update 04/04/25 - called the number they provided in their response. They still will not give me a refund because I do not have the last TIPM they sent me. I don't have it because I needed it to avoid a core charge from another TIPM source and because they never said they needed it back when refund discussions were started. I sent them a TIPM for every one that they sent to me. So they just want to get 1 TIPM ahead and leave me with no TIPM.
All of this occurred within the 1 year warranty limit and they had a chance to guide me on other possible causes for my problems, but all they would do is send me another TIPM.
Also, the last TIPM they sent me was not programmed for my vehicle even though I had paid for that service.
I will never do business with this company again.

Again, this company came through without a hitch. Part was just what I needed and customer is down the road.... Thanks again for all your help...

It was a good product some of the fuses weren’t where they were supposed to be but not a big deal

Easy exchange. Prepaid return label included. Just put the old computer in the same box with the noodles and put the new label over the original and send it off. Thanks
