Great Service and after sales support

Service from ProTech was second to none. Due to several O2 Sensor/EGR/Evap codes (a usual indication of PCM going bad) I had previously sent my 2005 Mustang PCM to a "reputable" repair facility. Unfortunately those clowns sent back a PCM with serious FailSafe Engine and Software incompatibility issues (clearly they had no idea what they were doing). I ordered a replacement PCM from ProTech (much cheaper than other suppliers). I received a call from them to check that I was aware what was needed if I was fitting it myself (I was, car has PATS so would need an auto locksmith to code keys) This level of service reassured me that Protech knew what they were doing. PCM arrived, fitted and coded, after which car runs great, none of the uneven idling and previous codes all cleared. Very pleased.

Some friends recomended Protech to me years ago. Most of the guys that recommended Protech are pretty anal about their vehichles and who works on them and how they perform. I have no complaints at all. Yes i recomend Protech.

Best price by far

ProTech had the best price by far (a few hundred dollars in some cases) for the PCM I needed for my Ford Explorer, and ProTech offered a fast delivery option. BTW, my Explorer had the oxygen sensor heater+EGR+purge valve malfunction syndrome, the symptom being engine stumbling and stalling at idle RPMs. If your vehicle has all these trouble codes at one time, it is likely the PCM that is failing. The PCM came ready to install, which was done per instructions. This fixed the problem after every other solution had been tried -- mainly replacing about 15 different parts and sensors with no improvement. NOTE: A new PCM will sometimes cause random trouble codes to appear for a while. Clear them and keep driving while your car "re-learns" the proper fuel/air ratio and other engine performance parameters. Give it a few days of driving before assuming that the replacement PCM is faulty.

Excellent service and Steven was a great help with the PCM for my 5.9 Dakota R/T. The PCM arrived on time and was a plug n play unit. The tune that was installed has my truck running better than ever. I am 100% satisfied with ProTech Auto Systems and would highly recommend them for your PCM needs
