I stayed there for 2 nights on my own I was having Life style problems I needed to get away it was just what I needed so relaxing and I felt comfortable staff are lovely n friendly, room was clean, loved the shower ha, enjoyed my breakfast then carvery is amazing compliments to the cooks, overall it was a great start to my recovery in life, the stay was definitely down to staying there, so thank you for a relaxing safe place to stay, will definitely going back highly recommend x

Very poor customer service avoid this company! The returns policy is poor, the website wasnt working so i could not exchange my item and the customer service staff member was very unhelpful and apologetic. You would be better to purchase from another store

Fantastic customer service from Jayne over the last two days. I’m a very happy customer and ‘The Sporting Lodge’ will be my first port of call moving forward. I would definitely recommend to any prospective customer.

Avoid this retailer. They make the returns process incredibly difficult even for faulty items.

They claim items are not faulty when they clearly are and then return the items to you without further discussion. This leaves you with no option but to accept their decision or escalate to the small claims court or ombudsman.

Of the two items we retuned (same item in different colours), they did agree one of the items was faulty, but even then they would only provide a credit note rather than a refund (unlawful).

They also drag the entire return process out as they claim to be going back and forth with the manufacturers. I believe this is just a stalling tactic in the hope you forget about the faulty item.

My advice would be to stick to more reputable sites or better yet go to a bricks and mortar store where it's much easier to return items (if necessary) and get the right outcome.
