Very easy to learn instructor was very good

Troy did a great job of getting us all involved. He is an extremely knowledgeable teacher that knows what he is talking about through experience and research. He did a great job of prepping us giving us the upmost confidence to pass the test. I can say confidently that I will have a positive, successful career in the security industry.

Troy’s subject knowledge is outstanding. He explains concepts clearly and thoroughly, and no matter how many questions were asked, he always provided confident, easy-to-understand answers. He never rushed through topics—before moving on, he consistently checked that everyone understood the material. If there were any misconceptions, he addressed them calmly and effectively, ensuring no one felt embarrassed for asking.

What truly sets Troy apart is his ability to provide emotional support when needed. First aid training can sometimes involve sensitive or intense scenarios, but Troy handled these moments with empathy and care, making everyone feel supported and reassured.

I would highly recommend Troy to anyone looking for first aid training. He creates a positive, engaging learning environment and ensures every participant leaves feeling confident and well-prepared.

Troy is an incredible instructor that definitely made the whole experience 10 times more enjoyable than it otherwise would have been, had I done the course elsewhere. He's demands a lot from his students, but delivers on everything he had promised at the start of the course. Not only that but he's very easy to listen to and has everyone's attention at all times as he makes the classes engaging, entertaining and memorable. I passed because of you, so thank you Troy!

My experience with the SIA course was great because Troy is a really good teacher. He helped us understand the material in an engaging way and was always honest and approachable. The way he explained concepts made the course much easier to follow and more enjoyable. I completed the Door Supervisor and Level 3 First Aid training delivered by Troy and found both courses to be well structured and professionally delivered. The content was clear, relevant, and aligned with industry requirements.

Troy demonstrated strong subject knowledge and explained topics in a calm and approachable manner, ensuring learners felt supported throughout. Practical elements were delivered effectively, reinforcing key learning outcomes.

Overall, the training was informative and of a high standard, and I would consider it a positive learning experience.

Engaging and well structured training course. The trainer had an excellent balance of real-world industry experience and a deep understanding of the underlying theory. His theory classes were very clear and highly engaging despite the content being somewhat mundane at points. Friendly and professional, certainly recommend. Good taste in music too aha

Overall really enjoyed doing the L2 Door supervisor course! Troy the tutor definitely knows his stuff! Highly recommend if you want to learn! 10/10

My training with Teargroup was great. Our trainer - Troy, has an amazing teaching style. Even though he provides you with a substantial amount of knowledge I did not feel overwhelmed, each day I arrived ready to learn more. He is approachable and passionate about what he does whi h makes learning in his class good. You can ask questions that will be answered without judgement and if you do feel like you need it he provides all the support you need to get through.

It wasn’t a read from the text book course. He was able to keep everyone engaged and awake as courses sometimes are long boring and tiring however Troy’s teaching was amazing!

Mr Troy Clark was very kind approachable, polite and well educated in his field of training and presented authentic, information practically and verbally, gave opportunities to ask on anything if some one may have not been understood, very clear and well presented confidently and in a friendly manner.

If you want to become an SIA Supervisor or any other Security course. Then I can say Tear group will give you good guidance. As well as learning from a booklet, you receive honest practice towards Security, With knowledge of different areas of Security. Good 8 days spent. Well recommended.

Studying with Teargroup was a truly great experience. As a mature student working with children with special needs, I found the course Paediatric First Aid extremely valuable. The tutor, Troy, was very clear in his teaching and used practical activities repeatedly to help us visualise and retain what we learned. His engaging way of speaking kept everyone’s attention, and the classroom atmosphere was always positive and inclusive. He genuinely applied equity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring that each student’s individual needs were met. This approach greatly supported me in achieving my goal of gaining the knowledge I needed.
